Accademia Gallery Timed Entry Tickets And Guided Tours

We arrived at the starting point. The person behind the counter was very helpful. Gave us exact directions to the meeting place at the museum. That is where we met our guide and received our tickets for the entrance to the museum. We skipped the long line and gained entrance at the time we scheduled. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the art wok in the museum and Michelangelo. Every thing ran smoothly and made the experience very enjoyable.

We weren’t able to get there on time to use our tickets because our ship couldn’t dock in the nearby port due to weather. I tried to send a note to the person in charge but got no reply. So sadly we lost our money on this one—due to no contact/reply from Viator

Most people come just to see David - but our tour guide Marie really went through the entire experience of rhe museum, from the art to the musical instruments she really helped us to see the value of everything not just the David!

The staff was welcoming, accommodating and professional. They spent time to make sure every thing went smoothly. I would highly suggest using this company.

Alex was a wonderful and charismatic guide. Although the tour is short, it is very informative and covers a lot. You can also stay afterwards to revisit the artworks and explore them in more detail.

We booked a skip-the-line tour with an audio guide, but the audio guide wasn’t working, and we waited in line just as long as everyone else. Very disappointing, as neither of the main benefits we paid for was delivered. I would not recommend this experience.

I just did a guided tour of the Accademia Galleria, and so, so happy that I did. Alex, our tour guide, was AMAZING, providing us the beautiful stories and fun facts. If you book with Italy Pass Tours, be sure to ask for Alex as she is passionate and very knowledgeable.

This was an incredible experience! It was so easy to find the place to pick up the tickets. And the person we had to meet with at Academia was right on the spot. The museum was running behind and he sent us to just the right place. It was great.

I booked an audio tour but there was no WiFi access available in the museum and we were not able to use the audio app. It was a total waste of money and very disappointing.

Our train from Pisa was cancelled so we were late to pick up tickets by 1 hour. No help or compensation. Not our fault but noone would accept responsibility. Not happy once again Viator. Will be requesting another refund.

Alex was awesome. She had good energy, took good care of the group and gave us a lot of relevant information without going too fast. It was bad signage and difficult to find the right guide, but the tour was definitely worth it!

The meeting places for ticket and ticket pick up are close. The crowd is seemingly unorganized at first, but it’s actually organized.

Complete waste of time and I should have burned the $$ instead. Horrible instructions with zero assistance. We finally found the first location to get our ‘sticker’. Second location got our tickets (why two locations other than to screw people?). Assistance from that location was simply pointing towards the museum. Absolute MOB SCENE in front of the museum. Zero guidance or signage to direct people. We would have been forced to cut the line that was stretching for two blocks. We never even got into the museum. Our other tours we purchased in Florence were great, but this one felt like a complete rip off. Stay way from this one. You will be glad you did

The museum was fine. Chaotic ticketing and entry process Though. But it’s better than waiting in the regular line for entry.

Great if you are short on time and the weather is not cooperating. Efficient staff. Everyone was nice. Only negative was fnding the voucher office because it ate up some of our time.

Waited in hot sun, in a doorway. The folks representing you were rude., only one gentleman appeared to know what they were doing.. When we got to the skip the line place, we were put in a line 15 minutes later than our scheduled time. Tour groups went before us. Never again through your company. We also booked through another and it was so much more organized.

Alex was very knowledgeable and well spoken, keeping us engaged for the entire duration of the tour - couldn't have asked for a better guide! We had originally booked an audio guided tour, however upgrading to an in person guide was worth every cent.

Meeting place was easy, the guide spoke English very well, and the size of the group was manageable.

We were scheduled for a 10:30 am tour. When we arrived at the Italy Pass (tour provider) ticket window, we were in for the 10:30 am tour was canceled. They wanted us to take the 12:30 tour instead but that didn’t work for our schedule. They told us we could do a self guided tour at 10:30, which we did, however it was not close to the experience we were offered. Also the gentleman at the ticket counter said we would get a partial refund, but wasn’t sure how much that would be. 24 hours later we’ve received no information on the refund. We were highly disappointed to say the least.

We had a small group which was perfect. Our tour guide, Tina, was very knowledgeable but more than that she was truly and deeply passionate about what she was showing and teaching us. A delightful person.

Went to get tickets at a store, then meet a guy who gave them to us about 5 min later. Then stood in line for about 15 min. Overall the process was fairly quick.

You’re not consider this to be skipped the line we got here couldn’t find our guide for 30 minutes and we stand in a line. This is not in anyway skipping any lines. $100 wasted

Viator clearly buys up a lot of the tickets for the museum and then sells them on for over twice the price. I would normally never go for this but as we didn’t have a choice of what day to visit it was our only option as the museum itself was sold out. The guys did make sure we got in but it was a bit hap hazard with a meeting point by an ATM (this info was only given to us by asking the museum staff). If we had tried to queue up with everyone else we wouldn’t have been let in as you need the Viator guys to give you your actual tickets - the bar code they send you is not valid for entry at the museum.

Tour guide was fab - enthusiastic, sense of humor, she was knowledgeable and enjoyable. Only things - please improve meeting point info for people and hold a sign with the name of the tour company and time - how we were meant to find the guy without asking five people first I’ll never understand. Also they changed the time the day before which was not ideal but we juggled things.

Great way to get tickets when none were available. I received a message that our time was no longer available but they worked with me to get me a time that fit my plans. Walked us to the correct line and no issues getting in
