One of the best parts of our trip to Italy ! Our guide Marco was so passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. If you only do one thing in Florence this is it .

Our tour guide was so informative! Thank God we purchased a private tour and had skip the line! The gallery was absolutely amazing and David did not disappoint!
William was a fabulous guide. He really showed us the beauty and history of the amazing artworks in Florence. Would definitely recommend this tour
Always have a guide to skip the little things an spend time on what you came to really see unless you have the entire day to send.
Great review of Michelangelo, the artist and the inspiration behind his creativity. Also great information about each artistic period and how each period affected the style of art and finally the moment of seeing the David. Also visiting the instrumental museum was an added bonus! Martina was friendly and knowledgeable.
Perfect amount of time for a short informative tour of the academy. Our guide was very knowledgeable
Great guide, you get one earpiece and she gave a great interesting narrative. It’s loud there and so busy it can still be hard to hear. You could bring your own plug in headphones I assume and it could be easier.
Our guide Alfonso is very knowledgeable and patient in answering to questions. The masterpiece is incredible and super interesting to understand Michelangelo’s methodology and observe David in close distance seeing all the details. Wish the tour can include more content with the price.
Our guide Nina was thorough and had a good pace. She gave us all the nuances of Michelangelo’s styles in sculpture and painting and how his sculptures were almost coming alive from the marble. Wonderful details shared.
Skip the line was great since the general admission line was very long in the hot sun. Tour was informative and fun. Excellent museum.
Pick up point 39 is near the entrance not further back which also says 39 on the wall. Missed our slot. Not our fault no Internet so did not receive call.
Tour was a good length. Guide did well with keeping us out of the way when we stopped but her microphone cut out several times. Overall, a great museum and tour.
Julia was a very good guide, interesting and engaging. The intercom system was the best we’ve experienced as well. I didn’t expect to be so impressed by Michelangelo’s David, but it is definitely worth seeing!
Our guide was wonderful. The staff was very helpful as my mom was in a wheelchair. Highly recommend.
The guide was very friendly and although it was a small group he made sure that we all felt included and not left behind. A great way to see and learn a lot within the short timeframe.
Great tour, it was a bit crowded but the tour guide couldn't help that but it was very hard to hear what she was saying. Overall, would do it again for sure
We appreciated a quick entry and visit, we didn’t want a long tour. The guide provided just enough history to understand the importance of the Medici and the David.
I had a wonderful guided tour with Giacomo visiting Uffizi work my friend Simone. It was my best tour in the city!!
Great Skip the line tour of Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze. Very informative and covered all the highlights of the gallery and details on the Statue of David and Michaelangelo. Skipping the line is a must given the long queues otherwise.
Pictures don’t do it justice, you have to go see for yourself! We had a great tour guide who answered all questions!
It’s amazing, and a must see if you are ever in Florence! The sculptures are all gorgeous. Do the skip the line tour!
Guido was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. The 60 min tour was just enough to see the hits and get out quickly.
The guide was very educated and enthusiastic about sharing her extensive knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
We traveled to Florence in late September, a very busy time. It was very helpful to have a tour booked for this experience and our guide did a great job explaining the times in which to style of painting changed over the years leading up to the creation of the statue of David which enhanced the experience. The crowds were crazy and sometime disrespectful, but that’s part of visiting during high season. The tour was about an hour and I would highly recommend it.
Our guide was on time and very insightful. We found the ticket office with the use of google maps. Worked out great.
Excellent, educational and fun experience provided by a knowledgeable local guide who provided nice insights into not only the museum content but also local life and culture. 10/10.
the tour guide was nice, but its very busy in this museum. we had ear pieces and everyone was circling the david with their own tour guide and ear piece. a bit hit or miss depending who your guide is, most companies offer similar tours.
There is still a line to get in but it moved very quickly. The guide was really informative. He gave a lot of perspective to the viewing of the sculpture.
Excellent tour with an awesome guide. Fast entry and amazing art and sculptures. The statue of David was amazing to see in person.
A great way to understand David and Florence in short amount of time. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable.
Greta was a great tourguide and was very engaging and funny. She really knew her stuff and was easily able to answer all of our questions. A really good experience
Very professional. Right on time…hit the high points. Good sense of humor. Looked out for me since I use a cane.
Another amazing experience. Knowledgeable and so engaging. It was great to have someone provide the history of the David.
Great tour, really worth it. We didn't need to wait in lines for tickets or attempt to view the David or other areas of the museum on our own Our tour guide, Ivano, was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and superb! Thank you!
Our tour guide was very super nice and very knowledgeable about the museum and the sculptures. His great sense of humor paired with his historical knowledge made for a perfect way to visit the Statue of David. Loved being able to skip the very very long line. So worth the money!
Our guide was really well educated and informative. We learned a lot from him which helped us understand so much more than had we done it on our own.
Giacomo, our tour guide was knowledgeable and wonderful. He gave us some historical insights to the center of town as we walked to the Academia. He also shared interesting facts regarding art and especially about the statue of David. I liked that it was a small group, it was easier to get around. I highly recommend this event to all.
Wonderful experience! We had an amazing tour guide, one hour was the perfect amount of time for our family of six to be able to see a little bit of the museum in the magnificent David!
Laura was amazing and a wonderful guide. She knows her history and made it worth it! Highly recommend
What an incredible was to spend our last day in Florence! Our guide was fantastic and helped us understand Michaelangelo’s genius as well as the evolution of the art from the gothic to the Renaissance period. Even my teenagers were engaged! I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name as I accidentally deleted my phone note :( but she is from a quiet town between Pisa and Florence and is 29 years old (older than when Michaelangelo carved his David masterpiece-she made a cute joke comparing what she’s done to what he’s accomplished lol)—I hope this is enough to identify her to give her much deserved kudos! Highly recommend…just enough time to get a feel for the small museum and we stayed afterwards to see the rest as we were so inspired by our tour guide. Seeing the very first Stadivarus violin was also a highlight !
Our tour guide was excellent and she was a wealth of knowledge and guided us through the David and Accademia Gallery with just the right amount of information and time to stop and discuss and take pictures. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to skip the line while also getting a great guided tour with someone who truly knows the history and the stories behind what you are looking at!
Exactly as described in listing. Quick and easy way to experience this attraction. Guide was very patient, spoke clearly and kept everyone together. I booked this last minute and am so glad I did.
When our guide Costanza was explaining the different perspectives of David and Michelangelo’s life and personality. She also showed us relevant images on her iPad. She was engaging and a truly lovely person. She also recommended other places to see in Florence. This was very helpful and appreciated. Thank you Cortana❣️
Amazing tour with a large or small group of people. We had a large group and felt the experience was still customized.
This was a great small walking tour, perfect way to get history of the city as you walk to the main attraction. We were a large group and were mixed in with just a few other couples, but still felt like we got a customized experience from our tour guide. She was very informative and was interactive with questions about what we had learned. I left feeling knowledgeable about the history of the statue and all of the background knowledge to go with it.
Have visited this gallery several times. This time we had an xcellent tour guide who provided insights to more than 'David', but also to the musical instruments, the art and gallery's other statuary.
I was in Florence for one day and only and I signed up for this and it did not disappoint. Tour was fun and informative. I would highly recommend!
Marco was amazing.. so knowledgeable.. so patient.. wonderful experience 👍 Highly recommended .. great price
Francesca, my guide for the David tour was amazing! She was fun and very informative, I learned a lot! Highly recommend!
Hard to hear the guide. She did talk and teach, but less than expected. Wait in the “no wait” line was 25 minutes.
