Our tour was fantastic, the knowledge and history of Florence , Michelangelo and everything else was incredible. Our tour guide host MARTA made this all possible with her unique presentation, . Best guide I’ve had who made it interesting . Such vast knowledge!

Polina had a fabulous knowledge of the Uffizi museum and all its nuances and intricacies. Really excellent tour - did a great job of explaining the history of all the master painters. The museum is absolutely a must see.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. She was algo helpful in providing us with all the information. We felt ver confortable with her as our guide. Most important, we learned so much.
Our guide for the Academia with Marta was excellent! Her passion for Michelangelo was contagious. Best tour guide of our trip. Our guide for the Uffizi was very good, but he had audio technology issues and he didn’t use the audio system, making hearing him difficult, which was disappointing.
The museums of course are spectacular. The guides were outstanding, the organization of the tour segments failed miserably.
This was a wonderful tour. Both of these museums are worth seeing our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable.
Our Guide for the Uffizi tour, Marta, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, funny & knew how to engage & give us a wonderful experience.
The Lady tour guide was very good for the Accademia, but the male guide for the Uffizi was terrible. The lunch was very basic. No transport between tours. Or maps given.
Perfect tour as gave specific information that was interesting and relevent and didnt drag on like some tours do. My 15 year old son said it was one of his favourite tours for our Europe trip as he throughly enjoyed the guide.
Great tour! Maria Christina was very knowledgeable which helped us appreciate the incredible artwork we saw! She also ended up giving us a “bonus” tour:) At the end of the tour my daughter asked where we could find a specific painting. Maria Christina took us there herself and told us about the artist along the way. It was an unexpected kindness that also demonstrated Maria Christina’s passion for her work as a guide.Thank you, Maria Christina! On a scale of 1 to 10, Maria Christina was an 11! On a side note, we booked lunch with the tour. The food was ok. In hindsight I would say, just focus on the art and you can find lunch on your own.
Seeing David was the best part of the tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. She was from Bologna but I don’t remember her name.
The Accademia tour in the morning was done well by Kiara (sp?), our guide. She was informative, enthusiastic, and got us the best vantage points of the important works, with the most time left for David, of course. In the afternoon trip to the Uffizi, however, the guide wasn’t great. She talked way too long, and did nothing to get us close to the works themselves. We were constantly at the back of each room, while big groups took up all the prime positions in front of the art, and we had to leave the group early just so that we could see the art for ourselves. Two hours into the tour, and we still hadn’t seen any of the Rafaello, Da Vinci or Michelangelo works. She should have been more flexible and navigated our group around the heavy traffic, since we were just a small group of 6. The Uffizi is a great museum, but the tour made it more difficult to see everything. We hope this feedback is helpful for future tours.
Our guide Marta was excellent. Knowledgeable, personable and a great communicator. Marta provide essential contextual information as well as the technical information at each of the Accademia and Uffizi Gallery. Extra tips at the end of the tour component meant we made the most of our visit. Grazie Mille.
This was a good visit! I will say that the ticket was somewhat confusing because all the other tours I have been on would just take us from one thing to the next. When we were done at Accademia, the tour was over (everyone else in the group left) so I had to ask about the Uffizi portion and apparently that’s separate from the Accademia tour so we headed to the office which was easy and no big deal but I didn’t know that part. Then the lunch portion we had to skip entirely because it started at 1230 apparently (my paper said the entire tour ended at 1230) so we had another tour booked for 1:30 so we had to skip the lunch. BUT I will say the tours were very good and fun and informative and the guides really did a great job explaining the different paintings / styles and pieces of art!
Seeing the amazing statue of David at the Accademia. We had a wonderful experience at the Uffizi Gallery with a very bright knowledgeable girl all to ourselves! The only downside was the lunch which I thought was poor value for money.
Both guides very good, so glad we had timed entrance/S, makes all the difference rather than standing in queues. Lunch was just super with great service
Tour was very informative and enabled us to see all the highlights efficiently. The guide was very good and obviously passionate about the art. The meeting place and timing were difficult to manage and quite stressful (wondering g if we were in the wrong place and missed the tour).
Nice tour with a great tour guide. We had a lot of time with David, which made me so happy. The art was incredible. Was glad to have a guide to point out the highlights.
Ciara our guide was really excellent and I learned quite a few interesting things about fine art generally and Michelangelo, Botticelli and daVinci. However the start was a bit chaotic. We arrived as requested at 0845 for a 9 am - 1015 tour as per the ticket Someone else was only then sent to get our tickets There was a lot of standing around waiting for the tickets to arrive and then we still had to queue in a line and finally got into the Academia at 930 The time spent with the guide was short therefore and did not really represent good value for a “guided “ tour The Uffizi tour at 1115 was slightly better organised but still a bit of waiting around for tickets
Marcello was an excellent Ufizzi tour guide with his animated sharing of his wonderful art history knowledge. Thank you so much!!
While the tour guides were very good, the radio & earphone technology the tour company uses is horrible. Noisy, static, distorted, inaudible audio during the entire tour of Uffizi Gallery. I removed the earphone & got as close to the guide as possible to hear him. The guides microphone lacked a clip to attach the mic on the jacket or lapel and that may have been part of the problem.
Very good uffizi guide very helpful and informative easy to understand and good length of tour yes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The guide was very knowledgeable. But the tour operator was quite disorganized. Upon arrival there was a lot of confusion on which tour people had paid for. They kept telling us to line up. Some guests in our group didn’t receive their tickets. Others were told to arrive at a different time. Very frustrating check in experience.
Florence needs to be absorbed. Take your time and learn and enjoy the art. Appreciate the hundreds of sculptures and and Michael Angelo's mater piece, David. See the works of Rafael and the evolution of art and artists. Just wish I had more time to spend at the Academy and the Uffizi.
I really enjoyed all the historic information given by the guide. Wonderful art collection. A most see!
Unfortunately our first part of the tour of the accademia was a bilingual tour of Spanish & English. Reading the description we thought we were getting an English only guide. It was impossible to follow as information was rushed. 2 stars. Uffizi was a different story, Michello( I hope I got his name right, he was a history teacher) was absolutely phenomenal, the knowledge, stories and his enthusiasm was amazing. If you could book him for the Uffizi gallery tour you could never go wrong, he is the only reason this tour got 4 stars. He is 5 stars
The museum tours were fun and mostly informative—to be honest we couldn’t hear much of what our guide was saying during the Accademia tour. I’d recommend having them use mics in the future! At Uffizi we were the only ones and our tour guide was as entertaining as he was knowledgeable.
Two amazing galleries with some of the best renaissance artworks and sculptures. A must see for anyone coming to Florence. As always, tours may seem a bit rushed given how much you can see in these galleries, so might be a good idea to also set aside time later to see more or to remain behind to explore more
Our guide was an art history graduate and it was quite evident, in that she covered 200 years of art in chronological order. She was so informative, insightful and even funny as we learned about the art, artists and the culture if the times. It was good to be rich.
Both the Accademia and Uffizi were wonderful experiences. Our tour guide Laura was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!
We don’t normally do tours, but because we wanted to see these two museums and only had one day, this worked out very well for us! We did Accademia in the morning and uffizzi in the afternoon. We had our own lunch and shopping time between. Both tour guides were so sweet and told great stories about the artists and the art. Learned some really interesting information! Highly recommend!
2 great tour guides. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Could tell they truly enjoy art and history.
Our morning guide was informative with a great sense of humor. We learned many new facts about the artists and their sculptures. The afternoon guide was informative and engaging.
The tour of each museum was very memorable and informative. The meet up at each museum was very disorganized and confusing. The first tour started late, which had us scurrying the make it to the next museum in time. Seeing the statue of David in person made it worth of of the trouble.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and delivered information very well. I believe that the tour is the way to visit these two museums unless you are an expert in arts.
Guides brought the experience in both the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries to a higher level. So friendly and knowledgeable. Skipping the long queues in the heat was appreciated too!
Our audio tours of both the Galleria D'Accademia and Uffizi were excellent - our small group of 7 experienced both learning a lot and seeing all the main pieces. Thanks for a fantastic morning.
Tour guide’s were excellent. Viator/CAF not organized. Reservation was made at Osteria dei Baroncelli restaurant in Florence. Rude/horrible service. 35min given for dinner, while eating came up and cleared table stating done
We chose the option for a 9:30 tour of the Academia (1.5 hr) then 3:30 tour of Ufizzi (1.5 hr) to give ourselves a mid-day break. I recommend that, as you can get museum fatigue if you don't have a break! Both museums were beautiful, and both our guides were very knowledgeable about the art and history. Worth the money to have someone lead you through and touch on the most important pieces, and there was the ability to stay longer after the official tour if you wanted.
The Academia and Uffizi are not to be missed if you go to Florence! They are both spectacular! My 3 stars are not the Academia or the Uffizi, but the tour itself. Upon arrival to Academia, we located the tour operator, received our tickets and waited in line for entrance. When I asked the tour operator about a guide, she stated we did not purchase a guided tour. Which is obviously not the case with this tour. We then paid 5 euros for 4 of us to have the audio headset. When we arrived at Uffizi, we had a guide but the headsets did not work. The guide was absolutely incredible!!! She talked to our small group and is very knowledgeable about Uffizi. Unfortunately some of our group members were not able to hear all of her accounts of the art. So 3 stars for the tour, but don’t miss Academia and Uffizi!
Skip the line really is a must ! These sites are very popular with tourists and to get the most important highlights of them a tour guide is essential.
Tour was great! Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun with her detailed knowledge of the artist, painting, and sculpture. She explained in details each piece of art which made learning fun! It makes me want to learn more about the artists and their work. Thank you Laura! From the ladies of Hawaii!
Loved the small group environment! My husband and I learned so much from our guide Ivan! We had a great time and definitely recommend.
Seeing the suffixing was very enjoyable. Our tour guide was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable on the exhibits and local history. I would definitely recommend the tour to avoid long lines and to gain valuable insight into the unique exhibits.
This tour was amazing. The tour guide was thoroughly immersed in the history of the artifacts and paintings. Highly recommend.
One of the worst if not the worst tour we have ever done. Especially the morning tour of academia. It was supposed to be in English, but it was in English and French, which meant half the time we could not understand at all what the guy was saying. In addition when she attempted to speak English most of us could not understand a word. Our party and others, actually left the tour midway and continued the tour on our own. The afternoon tour Was better but not great. We felt that the tour guide was very disrespectful of the Christianity represented in the paintings. Almost feel like we should be given a refund for the tour.
Guided Tour was 1 hour, then you could be on your own. Enjoyed the tour and lunch was very good, we liked the restaurant. We didn’t go back to the 4 pm gallery tour as too long in between times. I felt it was expensive for what we got and knowing admission is only $12 normally and it wasn’t busy season. If it was high season would be worth the skip the line.
Our tours guides were friendly and knowledgeable. However, the description of the tour doesn’t tell you the tours can be given in two languages until after you purchase. Very frustrating because it doubles the length of the tour to go back and forth between languages. Also, they do not describe the times of the tour properly. The Accademia starts at 10:30 while the Uffizzi did not start until 4:15. Again, that wasn’t told until after you purchased. Would not recommend based on this unless you are well aware of details.
These were the best guided tours that I have been on. The guides were easily understood and their knowledge was excellent. They were very enthusiastic and energetic and kept me very interested in their information.
Lovely small group tours through the two key galleries in Florence, the Accademia and Uffizi. The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, taking us through the galleries and showing us the key artworks. These are some of the best renaissance artworks in the world, and a must see for any art lover!
