Itinerary
Guests will arrive at our place, where they will be welcomed by myself or by one of our family member. The experience will start with the winery tour, during which we will explain our company history and what we produce today and we will explain the wine-making and Extra Virgin olive-oil-making processes and production while showing our machineries and barrels. After that guests will taste 4 of our best WINES (2 IGT TOSCANA Wines, 1 Chianti Classico and 1 Chianti Classico RISERVA ) accompanied by 6 "BRUSCHETTAS"/toasted Tuscan bread per EACH PERSON (each person will taste 3 "bruschette" for EACH ONE OF OUR 2 E.V. OLIVE-OILS), seasoned with: 1 Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Terre di Perseto", 1 DOP Chianti Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Terre di Perseto". We have a large wine-tasting room dedicated, where the guests can sit at tables. It is possible eventually to make a short walk in our vineyards. Extra food/wines/liquors/spirits may be added paying an extra fee.

This experience was absolutely fantastic! You could really taste the quality of the wines and olive oils. The woman who hosted us was the sweetest person – very kind, patient and funny, and she was excellent at telling us about the wines and answering all our questions. She really made us feel like we were not just “the next customers”. She was genuinely interested in us, our country, our work, etc., which made the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. If you don’t like dogs – don’t go! 😂 You will be greeted by two of the happiest Border Collies, and if they are allowed, they will join you on the tour all the way to the end. 🐶 We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic vineyard experience in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. 🍷🇮🇹
We booked this the same day in the morning and I have to say that it was an exceptional experience. Our host was very knowledgeable, fun and informative. At no moment were we rushed through the tour, tasting or our stay at the vineyard. Tasting was accompanied with bread and was just out of this world.
We had an incredible tour and tasting and would recommend this to anyone looking to sample delicious Chianti and olive oil! We really enjoyed hearing the history, seeing the olive trees and vineyard, and hearing how everything is made. It was a quiet and enjoyable time away from the crowds of Florence. We even got to play with the two puppies which was a bonus for us! We bought a few bottles of wine and olive oil and it was one of our favorite activities that we did on our whole trip. Thank you so much for hosting us!
This was the best part of visiting Florence and driving a Vespa through the hills of Tuscany! To find a family owned vineyard (with the grandsons running the 100 acres after their grandfathers passing in 2020 - was a breath of fresh air ! Niccolo and Daniel Martello keep the family tradition alive - which was evident during our short visit, with them cutting the brush and moving logs! The whole experience, from start to finish at TERRE Di PERSETO (not to mention the wine and olive oil) was and will always be one of the most memorable adventures of our 21 day vacation! I can honestly say I will be giving this wine away as gifts and thank yous to my customers and clients from this point on. I wish I wrote down the woman that walked us through this property - she was as much family as tge rest and her pride was evident in every word!
Very nice family winery. We arrived a bit late but they were very understanding and accommodating. I felt like they really loved what they do.
Absolutely terrific winery to to visit. Toured on a cold rainy day so we were Inside. The staff was amazing and the wines we stunning. Yes they ship and we can't wait for our shipment to arrive when we get home. Ask about the dessert wine.
We have visited several wineries here in Tuscany for wine tasting, and they were all so beautiful. This tour advertised the added benefit of an olive oil tasting. Based on the reviews, we booked it and were very excited. Can't imagine our disappointment upon arriving at this location. It was run down, equipment all over, clearly not well maintained. In touring the production, some of the equipment had cobwebs on it and was so dirty, we didn't not even stay to taste the wine. For $40 Euros each, I would rather have gone back to one of the many beautiful wineries to experience not only the wine, but the vineyard grounds and property. The person conducting the tour was very nice, and very knowledgeable, but for us, it simply did not make up for the rest of our experience.
It was a great overall experience with an informative and friendly host Mattias and owner. We truly enjoyed the experience. Grazie
Very good tour with excellent story of the history of the vineyard and very informative. The wine tasting was not disappointing and very relaxing. This place is beautiful!!!
We had a wonderful time. Beautiful spot, not crowded, friendly people, great wine and olive oil. Would recommend 100%
My parents, myself, and my husband went on a trip around Italy to celebrate my parents' 30th wedding anniversary, and our trip to the Terre Di Perseto winery was one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone is in agreement about it! It is a family-owned business, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into everything they do. Everyone was very helpful, communicative, and kind. The tour was very insightful, and the tasting was so fun! My entire family felt that we'd learned a lot about both wine and olive oil and got a feel for the Chianti region, all while enjoying the most beautiful scenery around us. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a true Tuscan wine experience. A visit to Tuscany would not be complete without it. Just a note: The winery is a little far away from Florence (where we were staying); it is about 45 minutes by car. We took a taxi with no problem and the amazing staff at the winery helped us book one back to our Airbnb as well. So plan accordingly if you plan to visit.
It was a great experience. I would recommend this to anyone. We came a family where the youngest were 16, so she tasted the oil and just smelled the wine. We all really enjoyed the tastning!
The wine tasting options, and hostess was very nice. The winery is quaint and lovely. Great for small or large groups.
What an experience, the family (owners of the farm) are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, thank you for the lovely host and kindness, definitely I’ll recommend this lovely tour to all of the people I know 🙏🏻🤍 Best, Bader
Absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and we even got to hang out with the farm dogs. We started with a quick tour of the winery then sat outside with the beautiful views to enjoy our wine and olive oil tasting. We sampled 4 wines (1 rose, 3 reds) and 3 olive oils. I personally didn't care for the wines because they were too dry for my taste but the olive oils were heavenly!!! We bought a bottle to take home and have already emailed the winery asked to have more shipped to us!
A great experience. The staff was exceptional and the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed the whole experience.
Benedicta was a wonderful guide. She showed us their modern wine making techniques, while also being able to see some tools from the past. Very friendly, casual, and relaxed. We tasted olive oils along with the wines and enjoyed learning a little more about how those are made.
A great wine and olive oil tasting. “Bene” gave us a bunch of great information about both Chianti wines and local olive oils. Everything we tasted was either very good or excellent. I can highly recommend this tour.
This wine and olive oil tasting was super. Super kvality and nice contryside. Nice People There. Only this farm ist 50 minits walking from San Casciano.
A high quality activity. Interesting and clear explanations with a generous tasting in wine as well as olive oil and balsamic vinegars. Warm and friendly experience that we highly recommend!
Beautiful wine and olive oil tasting experience!! We booked the day before and we were alone my companion and I for this intimate and authentic tour of the family vineyard. Simona was very friendly from start to finish and knew how to explain the harvesting and manufacturing processes. Quiet and warm area, everything was excellent, drinks and food. I highly recommend!
Belle expérience en fin de journée. Durée pas trop longue (1h30). Aurait aimé avoir des tomates sur mes bruschetta.
