A stunning historic villa that delivers on every single level! Villa Cora was one of the best stays I've had in Florence, expansive gardens, a lovely pool, and views over the Tuscan hills, with a real sense of privacy and space. My suite was spacious and truly beautiful, and the grand buffet breakfast was a definite highlight. The included shuttle made it effortless to enjoy the best of both worlds: the calm of the villa and the buzz of Florence just minutes away. I travelled solo and felt completely comfortable the whole time. I'll be returning with my family, and recommending Villa Cora to everyone I know!

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to live in a castle, Villa Cora is the place to stay. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to another era. Every room, every hallway, and every little corner is beautifully preserved and decorated, making you feel as though you’ve traveled back more than a century. The architecture, artwork, and attention to detail are absolutely stunning. One piece of advice I’d give future guests is to avoid booking a room on the third floor near the balconies, especially if you’re a light sleeper. The balconies offer beautiful views over Florence, but during our stay, some guests remained outside until around 3:00 a.m., drinking wine, laughing, and speaking loudly. The noise carried into the room and made it difficult to sleep. That said, Florence has plenty of incredible viewpoints throughout the city that offer even more spectacular panoramic views, so I personally think it’s worth choosing a quieter room over one with a balcony. A good night’s sleep will make your stay much more enjoyable. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The food was delicious, the property is impeccably maintained, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Sarah at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, Villa Cora is a truly magical hotel and a memorable place to experience the elegance and charm of Florence.
We stayed at the Villa Cora Hotel in Florence for my birthday in March and the place was just stunning. The views, the ambience/atmosphere, the decor, the service, just about everything was superb. Late check-out was unfortunately not possible because of a special event that took place on that day, however, the amazing gentleman (tall guy with bracelets) at the reception offered us a complimentary spa treatment instead and also arranged a birthday cake to be delivered to our room and provided super service during our entire stay. If you are looking for a romantic getaway in Florence, this is the place to stay.
We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Cora for four amazing days. This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We had an amazing two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. The decor of the rooms was simply beautiful. The service was fantastic and impeccable. The dinners were exquisite along with an amazing presentation. The hotel is not in the center of town, but they had a luxurious shuttle to take and bring you back or they would quickly got you a taxi if requested. If you ever want to experience something amazing in Florence, give Villa Cora a try. You will not be disappointed, but will be marveled with the beauty of the hotel and the unparalleled service.
My stay was absolutely amazing. From the warm welcome from Gabriel to the daily attention details of the staff. I recommend and will always stay at Villa Cora when I visit florence. I had the best 30th birthday ever. The staff made all the difference.
