The Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa

We were only here for one night before an early flight, but we ended up wishing we’d stayed longer because we enjoyed the hotel so much. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and it’s a short, easy walk to a wide range of great restaurants. The spa was also great. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Moon Boutique Hotel in Florence exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, the hotel was immaculate, and every detail felt thoughtfully designed to create a memorable experience. The biggest highlight of our stay was Giorgio at the front desk. He went above and beyond for us throughout our visit. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending fantastic local restaurants, helping us navigate the city, or even making drinks during the hotel’s cocktail hour, Giorgio consistently provided service that was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His recommendations were spot-on and helped make our Florence experience even more special. He is a tremendous asset to the hotel and one of the main reasons our stay was so enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and cleaned to a high standard every day. Returning to a fresh, comfortable room after exploring Florence was always appreciated. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and conveniently located, making it easy to enjoy everything the city has to offer. The breakfast was another standout feature. It was far beyond what you would expect from a typical hotel breakfast—everything was fresh, high quality, and truly restaurant-quality. It was the perfect way to start each day before heading out to explore the city. If you’re visiting Florence, I highly recommend the Moon Boutique Hotel. Between the excellent accommodations, outstanding breakfast, and especially the exceptional hospitality from Giorgio and the staff, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We would gladly stay here again on a future trip to Florence.

We had 2 reservations one June 2-3 and the other June 3-6. We were upgraded on our second reservation so they moved us to another room on our second day. They told us that they will move our luggage to the next room but unfortunately I forgot to empty out the room safe and left and left a very expensive item. I didn’t realize that I was missing that item until we came back that afternoon from town. I asked Giorgio at the front desk about my missing item and they kept it for me to my relief. We are only on our second day and I will definitely say that this hotel takes real good care of their customers. Plus the rooms are clean and well designed and the breakfast buffet was excellent. You have your eggs cooked to order. Hotel is just outside the tram station. Again thanks to Carmelo and Giorgio on their excellent customer service.

Very enjoyable experience at this hotel. Absolutely wonderful rooms, spa, and staff. Cecilia provided an amazing massage that you could opt in for at an additional cost. Best massage I have ever had. The location was perfect for our purposes too. The air conditioning worked well too unlike other European hotels we experienced. Highly recommend this hotel.
