This hotel is very cute and whimsical. (where else do you see a one legged nightstand) Guys, if there’s a woman in your life you want to surprise, bring her here. The staff speaks English and is very helpful. They can recommend restaurants and call a cab for you. Our room is behind just off of the breakfast room. Our door is disguised as a pantry/storage area for the kitchen. Its fun. And you won’t be late for breakfast.
Great location and nicely appointed property. Friendly and helpful service. A special mention and immense gratitude to Joyce the night-time attendant. In the early hours of the morning she somehow managed to liaise with her colleagues in housekeeping and track down a passport in the hotel’s basement/storage room which had been mistakenly cleaned up by housekeeping that afternoon and which was required by 6am that same morning for our departure! All whilst dealing with a language barrier. An incredible feat, handled amazingly, for which I am so grateful. A wonderful lady!
Five star stay beginning to end. We stayed here two nights and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Location was stellar, close to main attractions and SMN train/bus station. We were greeted warmly by reception every time we came through the doors, and staff was a huge help in little things we needed throughout the stay. Free breakfast as well in a nice terrace. Classic hotel with large rooms, and high ceilings. Would recommend to anyone staying in Florence looking for an authentic Italian accommodation.
Such a unique hotel with it's different rooms and layout. The location is excellent for seeing any of the main sites of Florence, but hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and will help with booking transportation, restaurant recommendations, etc. It took a few days for me to understand the layout, but don't worry, there is plenty to discover and look at as you are trying to get to the bar, rooftop, etc.
12/10, one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We almost want to keep it a secret hidden gem, but it truly was fantastic. They were so kind and helped book me via email, and quickly responded to all our questions. The location could not be better. The building itself is so beautiful and both historical and modern. Our rooms was exceptional, it was large and beautifully designed. The bed was super comfortable and the large bathroom with a double shower was a huge bonus! Plus a great breakfast spread and very cute bar. There’s no where else we will stay in Florence! Grazie mille Stella d’Italia!!
