Every touch was perfect - breakfast was magnificent, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area, really strong local recommendations for leather goods, dining etc. And for folks wanting to adventure on foot, you cannot beat the location! you are a 10-20 minute walk to everything (some times only 5 minutes). Antonietta and the entire staff were delightful! Our room was a special fresco suite and so stunning, romantic- of another world. We look forward to coming back! Grazie for tutti!

We had an excellent stay at Porta Rossa. The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff and service are even better. Nirvaan at the reception and his colleagues whose names I neglected to ask were all incredibly thoughtful. Antoinetta, the concierge was incredibly helpful as well. They paid attention to the smallest details, an experience I haven’t had since my stay at Hotel Sacher in Salzburg despite having stayed at some very highly regarded properties over the years. Will definitely stay here when we visit Florence again.
