Considering the price quality and location this was an excellent hotel stay. Would happily stay here again! We were here during a heat wave and the AC was able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.

First, let me start with the good. The location is amazingly located, and the woman who helped us check in was very nice and helpful. Onto the bad: the same day that we checked in, we noticed there was a lot of mold in the shower. I normally don't complain about small issues, but this was super gross. So we informed the front desk and showed them the pictures of all the mold in our shower, and they said the cleaning staff must not have scrubbed in the corners and they will tell them to deep clean tomorrow (meaning we'd have to stay in a gross hotel room until they clean). We were super creeped out by the shower. Didn't want to walk in it barefoot, and the hotel didn't offer us any remedy. We were not confident this is just something you can clean away easily. The silicone had mold embedded in it. We decided to leave early the next morning, and asked for a refund for the remaining two nights. They refused, stating that it was high season for them, and they cannot simply lose the money. They would only refund us if they are able to book another guest in our room for the remaining two nights and we'd only be refunded whatever the other guest paid. We didn't receive a dime. They clearly don't care about their customers, only their own bottom line. I have never had to do a credit card dispute, but now I am. I cannot believe they do business like this. Other (smaller) issues. It's not a real hotel. It's an apartment building and they rent out some but not all of the units. There are restaurants right below, so you will have to smell that especially if you're on the lower floors. Also the furniture is quite worn, and given how they clean the shower, I'm a little worried how clean it was. There were stains on the bedframe and couch in our room. We found an empty whiskey fireball in our closet from some previous guest as well. There was also a hole in one of our pillow case.
10/10, best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and the bed was extremely soft for an Italian bed. They gave us a bottle of wine on arrival and were extremely helpful showing us the best places to go and eat. The location is also perfect, since it’s at the heart of the city, right next to Uffizi and walking distance to all the main attractions. Will absolutely stay here again when we return to one of our favorite cities!
Our stay at La Torre Dei Salterelli was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the warmest and most professional way. The location is simply perfect — we honestly cannot imagine a better place to stay while exploring Florence. The only downside was that the mini refrigerator was quite small. The hotel is very safe and clean. The entire team was incredibly helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented, making us feel completely at home. Everything was extremely comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, and we truly felt that every detail had been taken care of. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect accommodation in Florence.
Simona gave us the best check in I had in years (and I travel a lot!) she is the sweetest, most knowledgeable person. She gave us great tips and places to eat. The hotel is amazing amd we got happily upgraded to the suit. 100% recommended
