This is a worn out hotel so you are paying for the location only. Very difficult to find as construction is going on next to the hotel. There is no real signage for this building. It appears that they have adjoined two hotels into one at some point. Strange furniture/decorations make up the lobby. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding. The room was small and the tiny shower had an 18 inch opening to get in the glass doors. Literally. Every time you ran water in the bathroom, the floor drain gurgled.Staff recommended a restaurant for dinner that had zero ambience and pretty plain jane food.

Exceptional. I am in love with this hotel. I fully recommend it 👌. The view from the room 115 is beautiful and the breakfast was Woow.
Hotel is actually two hotels joined together. The view of the piazza is the best part of this experience. Our room is very nice and the staff bilingual and extremely helpful with directions, services and even able to exchange dollars for Euros. Grazia!!
The entrance to this building is shared with a different hotel, which can be confusing but there is a small sign at the entrance stating that Hotel Rosso is in the building. The staff is very kind and accommodating. One of the staff even showed me the old frescos on the wall on the first floor, which were very beautiful! The location is excellent, as it is only a short walk away from the tram to go to the airport, and close enough to the city center that walking everywhere is very doable. The location on the square was beautiful too. The room was tidy and comfortable, though I could hear the voices of the people in the room next to me. I could not hear the sounds on the streets though. The beds were clean and the shower was lovely to use. There is a decent breakfast spread as well.
This is rather a strange hotel as it seems to be more of an Annex to the Garibaldi Blue than a truly separate hotel. It shares an entrance, reception, and all common area with the Garibaldi. Its only unique feature seems to be a rather lovely red staircase in a central atrium. First the big positive: the location is great. The hotel is well situated on a lovely piazza only five minutes walk from the train station. The included breakfast was good, although the breakfast room itself is rather dark and dingy, and a contrast to the café immediately in front of the hotel facing the piazza. It’s a shame the hotel itself seems to have no outdoor space. The Rosso23 is connected to the reception area via a labyrinthine set of passages. On check in we were asked (rather curtly) to wait for someone to show us to our room. Any hotel where you need a guide to find your room needs better signage. The room itself was fine, but with a view onto a back courtyard, nothing special. The bathroom was poor though, with limited space and the shower cubical had massive gaps that resulted in a flood on the bathroom floor. Overall I would say it’s not too bad given the good location, but not really great value and I definitely would not hurry back.
