Not that good of a hotel, first of all, when we first checked in, there were a ton of mosquitoes in the room, which we had to kill, and call the front desk about. The room is really dark and weird, but on the positive end, it was very spacious. The breakfast, on the other hand, was very disappointing; it just had cakes and fruit out, and the pastries they gave out did not taste fresh. The food that you ordered tasted low-quality and was not good for a 5-star hotel like this. Also, when I called the front desk to bring some stuff to the room, they took so long to come that I had to call them multiple times, which is completely unacceptable. The hotel layout was also very confusing it felt like a maze.

This hotel is just spectacular. It’s a beautiful property with large, spacious, and comfortable rooms. We stayed in a two story suite in 2023 which was perfectly functional for our family. The location is perfect, in the heart of Florence within walking distance to almost everything. I can’t speak highly enough about the customer service. Everyone was so helpful, accommodating, kind, compassionate, and extremely attentive. It was a perfect stay! My only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the offerings at breakfast. There were only a few repetitive choices and we were in Florence for over a week so the limited menu became a bit boring after a while. Granted this was all in 2023 so maybe things have changed since then. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values location, ambiance, and above all superior customer service.
I could not have asked for a better hotel! Stayed there two nights with a large group of 17 and the staff made sure all of our needs/requests were fully met by going above and beyond. We all were super appreciative of their efforts, especially towards Claudia and Dana who provided great service and spoke excellent English. I even grabbed a Negroni drink with them and learned a lot about Italian culture. Other than the thoughtful service, the bar/restaurant food was amazing, the show had lovely music, and the spa was very well designed to be relaxing.
Booked a large suite with tall ceilings and big windows. It was very comfy. The front desk was excellent and helpful at all times. The room was excellent (the bed post decorations might need to be screwed on a bit tighter), the service items were plentiful and the cleaning service was meticulous. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk everywhere in 15 minutes. Literally you pass all the famous places on your walk to the bridge. The breakfast is excellent with the service, variety and all. I would come here just to do the breakfast that's how nice it is. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again. They just need to get rid of the funky/spooky green draperies on their hotel pictures. The hotel is a bit eclectic (like W hotel) but it's not as weird as that room shown with green draperies. Things were done in decent style.
Hotel Firenze Number Nine is a true 5-star gem in the heart of Florence. It’s just a 7-minute walk to the Duomo and about 15 minutes to Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Accademia. The location is surrounded by excellent local restaurants away from the typical tourist traps. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They really went above and beyond trying to accommodate our room preferences and ended up upgrading us. The breakfast is outstanding with delicious fresh breads, jams, and everything else on the menu. It’s the kind of quality that makes mornings special. The amenities are exceptional. The gym is fully equipped with weight racks, bench press, free weights, barbells, and various machines, which is rare for hotels. The spa is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. From the breakfast spread to the in-room amenities, every detail shows real care and attention. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what a truly great hotel experience should be. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Florence.
