Hotel California

Perfect location for a serene walking tour of Florence. Service was great. There were some minor room issues, but we didn't come here to stay in the room.

Location was brilliant. Really close to all the attractions and the tram, which was a great way to travel around. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. The whole hotel was very clean. Lovely warm welcome from the reception when we arrived and they was very friendly throughout our stay. Terrace bar was peaceful and quiet and very relaxing with amazing views. Breakfast wasn't the best, we usually went out to eat, but it was good to get a coffee first thing in the morning. Lot's of restaurants and coffee bars and not forgetting the delicious ice cream. Would definitely return to this hotel/location.

Gave 4 stars because AC is set at 16°, too warm for me. Great location, stores, shops and restaurants are on the same block. There's a clothes line on 2nd floor terrace. There's no tub in the restroom. Very hot in June.

I booked this hotel for my 2 grown daughters and me while on the train to Florence on the same day. (This was necessary because my other B&B had just cancelled on me (never book Numa, a booking I made 4 months ago!)). This place is clean, air-conditioned, great accessibilty, and a fabulous location. The only drawback is limited places to store clothing. The staff have been unfailingly helpful and organized, something I appreciate in Italy. The breakfast has a lot of variety and includes a delightful courtyard. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
