Grand Hotel Amore And Spa

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 6 nights, and it was wonderful! Initially the room we were given had an issue with the A/C not working, but the staff was very accommodating with providing us another equivalent room to use while the other rooms A/C was repaired. The rooftop suites are really incredible, with a beautiful little balcony. Great fun to sit out there with an espresso in the morning and listen to the city come alive! The staff was wonderful our entire visit, everyone was very sweet and accommodating and greeted us when we came in. Additionally the location is pretty perfect, just a block or two down from the duomo so pretty much every major site in downtown Florence is within a 15ish minute walk. Despite being on a busy street there wasn't too much noise from outside, it never kept us up anyway. My wife and I both highly recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay in Florence that's centrally located (but not completely overrun with tourists) with incredible staff.

When you book a hotel on line you really don't know what to expect??? Our stay at the Grand Amore was awesome. The Hotel Lobby area is warm and inviting and clean. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, always willing to go that extra mile. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfy and had lots of pillows. There were room darkening curtains and plenty of storage. We booked a massage at the Spa while we were there. The massage was great and the Spa was clean, we also booked the sauna and steam bath it was also awesome. The massage therapist was very friendly and professional. Overall this was an awesome trip and it made it even more great because the hotel was also awesome. Would definitely come back. Thanks to all who made our trip awesome!!!!

Lovely little hotel, brilliantly located and fabulous staff - a few small niggles - there needed to be somewhere to hang the towels in the bathroom. Small stand kept falling over and the towels couldnt dry. It would be nice if staff told you "you can get tea and coffee any time" because there isn't any in room. It would be nice to have water as well as tea in spa. And for spa price it is very tiny and should really have two relaxation chairs.

Extremely well situated. Spacious room and bathroom in excellent shape (great window, everything clean and new, wonderful bed and sheets, etc.). Spa is small but in perfect condition, available 24/7, and turned into a private spa (nobody else allowed entry) when you use it. Their bar is convenient and also open 24/7. The best part of it was the staff, who made us feel right at home and were ready to help us in anything we could come up with. Their warmth really made our time there special. We felt like we were taken care of and nothing could go wrong. We were in Italy for 2 weeks (Rome and all over Tuscany) and this was the favorite place we stayed at. It was our honeymoon, and they left us a bottle of Prosecco and an extremely kind personalized note. I can’t speak highly enough of this place! I wish I remember the name of the man running the place when we were there!
