I've never stayed at a more fancy and extravagant hotel in my life. The property is magnificent and exquisite, the staff are all courteous, professional and accommodating. The food is excellent. The rooms are clean and luxurious.

Absolutely amazing! We celebrated my partner’s birthday here tonight and it was truly breathtaking. The service was outstanding, the food was exceptional, and the location and atmosphere were simply stunning. Every detail made the evening feel so special and unforgettable. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! :)

Absolutely stunning hotel both inside and out! The terrace at the restaurant is a particular highlight as it’s so beautiful. The staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful and really made our stay feel so special. The group dining experience is incredible and we strongly recommend, we were so impressed with the food and have to say on our 10 day trip to Tuscany (2 nights at this hotel) this was a real highlight! We originally chose this hotel just on the outskirts of the city because of the pool, and we used it a lot as Florence is so hot, it’s great to have that to cool off. The room was lovely, and they had all the extras you could think of! We can’t wait to come back!

I would like to share my experience of staying at Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence. Unfortunately, my experience was negative for several reasons. I would recommend reading this until the end before booking this hotel. 1. On Saturday morning, at 9:00 a.m., we were woken up by someone ringing the doorbell and offering to clean the room. For a hotel of this level, this is simply unacceptable. 2. Since we came to Florence for an event, my wife asked the hotel to organize hair styling and makeup for two evenings in a row. Beforehand, it took eight emails, during which we were asked questions about the color of her outfit and the format of the event. In the end, one hair stylist tried to pretend to be a makeup artist as well — unsuccessfully. Considering that this service cost €600, it would have been much better if the hotel had simply said from the beginning that they were unable to arrange this properly. We would have solved it ourselves without rushing. 3. I asked the concierge to arrange a minivan to take us to the event. The distance was 4.4 km. I was very surprised to see a charge of €180 on the bill. That is roughly €40 per kilometer — slightly more expensive than a helicopter and slightly cheaper than a private jet. 4. We tried lunch by the pool twice. There were many waiters, but no real service. We had to repeat the same order to different people every 10 minutes. The food was very average: the fish was unacceptable, the pizza was 3/5, the pasta was completely unimpressive, and the chicken was 4/5. The final absurd moment was when a waiter took the bottle of olive oil from our table in order to bring it to another table. Curtain. 5. There is a lot of staff constantly asking empty questions and trying to talk too much, even when they can clearly see that the guest is not in the mood for that kind of interaction. In summary, the hotel is located in a very questionable location. Yes, the grounds are beautiful and the pool is good. To be fair, the breakfast was excellent. However, everything else discounts the value of this place so dramatically that you cannot avoid the feeling that the price and the service are completely mismatched. Hotels that charge this kind of money simply do not have the right to make so many mistakes or to treat their guests with such a lack of respect. I hope this message reaches not only potential guests, but also the management — so that they either stop making guests feel like they are being mistreated, or divide the price by four. The end.
