everything about this guest house was excellent!! The room is near center and lots of restaurants and markets, we had cleaned room everyday, still and sparkling water in our mini fridge, the entire room was renovated recently with modern decoration, the price was reasonable and everytime we needed something , we would get all the information needed from the property via whatsapp. The only downside is that there is no elevator so you need to take the stairs up to the second floor.

Fully recommend Artemide Guesthouse. Communication with property manager was professional, clear, organized and fast. Property is in good condition, confortable, quiet, clean and near main attractions and train station. *Just to note that rooms are located on 2nd floor with no elevator (No inconvenience for me but keep this information if you have person with disability)
If you can, stay at another one of the hotels in the area. We arrived at 2:35 for our 2:30 check-in and the room was still being cleaned. We did not check in until around 3 and were waiting in the lobby that had no air conditioning. Also expect to carry your luggage up 4 flights of stairs, as there is no concierge or check-in staff. Really strange layout of the bathroom, with no door separating the living space and bathroom. All around bad experience. Location is close to the city center though.
Worst experience staying a single night here. There is no attendant to greet you at check-in, and the only way to receive check-in instructions is by submitting the details of all guests via email or WhatsApp. The four rooms are located on the second floor of a rather gloomy building with no elevator. This is very inconvenient if you're traveling with kids or carrying luggage. The host had confirmed that the rooms were air-conditioned. However, when we returned after dinner, the room was extremely warm (26°C), and no cold air was coming from the AC unit. We tried calling and messaging the host multiple times, but received no response. As a result, we couldn't sleep until 4 AM. We went back and forth with Agoda and the host to request a refund. The host claimed that ACs in Italy are only turned on after May, which is simply not true—we had just come from Rome, where we stayed for three nights and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host also suggested that we should have opened the windows if it was hot. I did open them for 10 minutes at night, which only invited mosquitos and moths into the room. I was constantly disturbed by mosquitos buzzing around and trying to bite me while I was trying to sleep. I ended up killing three mosquitos that night (photos attached). The only positives about this guesthouse are its location—close to many restaurants and sightseeing spots—and the bathroom, which was recently renovated. Towels and bed linens were clean as well. Thankfully, we received a full refund after we told the host we wouldn’t check out without one. They expected us to leave by 10:30 AM despite the sleepless night we had. Overall, a very disappointing experience after a long, exhausting day, which also ruined the following day due to lack of rest. If you're considering staying in this area, there are plenty of other hotels nearby that would be a better choice.
This was such a great place to stay. The location to the train was very handy for us and an easy walk to the sights. We loved the room and all its amenities - clean, comfortable and awesome lighting! The shower was amazing and the spa luxurious. The check in and out process was very easy to follow. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for having us!
