Levifell Tour

We had a great time on the Levi fell tour with Nello! He made sure we were safe and was kind and helpful. Despite the unexpectedly warm weather and melting snow, we made the best of one of the last tours of the season. The snowmobiles were comfortable and well maintained. The stop at the quaint reindeer farm was a nice break as well. Our only gripe was that another person on the tour was not comfortable with riding very fast making it slower than we would have liked, but not the companies fault. If you want more flexibility with speed, take a private tour.

This was an amazing excursion and highlight of our trip. We went through the frozen lake and forest to reach a reindeer farm. We stopped for warm drinks and a tasty donut before meeting the reindeer. Then we made our way back. It was beautiful seeing the different landscapes. Our guide was wonderful and made it an experience we won’t forget!

We are so glad we chose Tokka Snowmobile Safaris for our bucket list trip! Even with the late-winter slushy snow, our guide, Esko, turned a fun outing into a truly great tour. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and informative throughout the ride. The 3-hour duration was perfect—long enough to reach stunning viewpoints and enjoy some faster stretches over the frozen lake. The route through the coniferous forests is beautiful, and the break at the reindeer farm for hot drinks and warm donuts (indoors with a WC!) was a highlight. A huge bonus: Esko took amazing photos and videos of us. His video work was so steady it looked like he was using a gimbal, even on the bumpy terrain! With a small group of just four snowmobiles, the experience felt very personal. We’ll definitely book with Esko again when we return!

Absolutely amazing experience with our guide we went to a reindeer farm and had some berry juice and hot chocolate with sugar donuts. My first time snowmobiling and I had the best time! One of the best excursions you could do! Highly recommend!

Best experience in Laplan, by far. The route, the landscape, the quality of the snow, the guide, the flexibility, the attention simply superb. We have done safaris in Rovaniemi and Tokka in Levi is in another league. We all loved it, both the kids and the adults. The stop for the snack, a different level (Sammuntupa, traditional lappish cottage where you could choose hot chocolate, hot juice, coffe, cinnamon buns and many other alternatives). Simply great. Esko took all the time necessary to create a unique memory for all our family.

We had so much fun, i feel like the duration of the trip was just about right, our tour guide was so nice. Overall we both highly recommend it.

The journey on the snowmobile was great and our guide, Jim from Tokka, was amazing ! At first, Jim gave us all the safety instructions (avaliable in English and French) and helped us wearing the equipement. We drove on the frozen lake, between the trees with some steep slopes, the landscape showed very different areas around Levi. Then, Jim took us for a warming break in a reindeer farm. We had a delicious warm berry juce and doughnut. He also explained many things about the local life, this made the all experiance so interesting !

Wow, amazing experience, we booked a 9am Levi Fell tour which took us to a reindeer farm where we saw reindeer and had a hot drink and yummy doughnut. We sped over a frozen lake and went through beautiful forests. We booked a group tour but as we were the only couple, it ended up being just us and our guide. Clare was Our guide and she was amazing, took pictures for us and was friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a great time on this safari. Emmi was our guide and she was super friendly and made sure to keep checking everybody was ok. She made the trip very special. We also saw her in the local pub later that evening and sat with her and she told us where we could feed reindeer at a nearby hotel, which we did the following day :) Overall, we recommend this safari with Tokka, it was a long distance with a stop for hot drink and a donut and the chance to see reindeer at a Sami village - with a great guide! Thank you.

Nil, is the guy! One of the best activities You must do in Levi,especially with Nil as a guide! He was really kind and caring during the whole tour!

Very good experience, first time driving on a snowscooter and me and my boyfriend both really liked it. We went with just us 2 and a guide. He was very sweet and considerate. With lovely hot drink at the reindeerfarm. Would reccomend!

This was a great trip and very well organised. We were given very good kit to keep us warm and a clear and comprehensive safety briefing. It was great fun driving the snowmobile through the forest and across the more open frozen lake area and we loved the halfway pit stop. A beautiful location and a memorable activity.

I can confidently say that this was one of the best activities we've done in Lapland! As beginners with no prior experience in snowmobiling, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our tour guide, Esko, helped us get comfortable. Incredible experience! Everything was very well organized, and the instructor, Bia, Always attentive, kind, and ready to help. It's totally worth it, especially because the tour is done with only a few motorcycles, which makes everything safer and more personalized. I highly recommend it!

We arrived a little early, got ready and did it wait long for our guide to pick us up. Travelled 15km to the reindeer farm, enjoyed coffee and the critters before completing a full lap of Levi to return. Lovely wilderness and great guide. A perfect afternoon

Excellent Experience. Tokka makes an effort to keep the groups small. We were with just one other snowmobile, maybe because of the cold. Almost felt like a private tour. Wonderful. We saw many other operators running with much larger groups around Levi. We loved the almost 3 hour tour. We loved our guide. Would definitely recommend.

It was a great experience. We drove around the "mountain". It was a great way to see a bit more of the surrounding environment. The gide was nice and took her time to help everyone with making photo's. We had a great day.

Was so fun!! The tour guide was lovely I’m English but I’m sure her name was Nima 🥹, food was AMAZING and catered for vegans and vegetarians! Would definitely recommend!! Went to two lovely cafe and met lovely people!

Well run outfit. We learned the basics of how to ride a snow mobile from a friendly and personable guide. We were outfitted with insulated overalls and then rode out single file. The ride was exhilarating and the halfway stop was donuts and coffee. Highly recommend.

We booked a snowmobile safari while we were in Levi a couple weeks ago. It is not normal to have high temperatures and rain in Lapland during winter but it rained prior to our snowmobile tour which left the roads covered in ice. Upon leaving during the morning of our tour, we were unable to leave our airbnb due to the roads not being treated yet and the car getting stuck on the icy street. I contacted Tokka Safaris right away to let them know, and they refused to offer any refund, which seems crazy to me considering there was nothing we could have done to make it to our tour and this is very unusual weather for Lapland, in which case you'd think they would make an exception and offer some sort of refund. I do not recommend booking with them.

Wow just wow! Thanks to the staff at Tokka Safaris we had the most amazing day out in the wilderness upon snowmobiles. The temperature dropped to -26 and staff were only too happy to give us extra layers of clothing over our already warm layers including snow gear. We travelled up through the fell and stopped half way for a warm tea, coffee, hot chocolate and doughnut. We then travelled back through the fell. It’s was absolutely amazing and a must do if in Levi! Thank you Tokka safaris for an unforgettable day!

Excellent experience all round! We had a 3hr tour in a small group. We saw many other operators running with much larger groups around Levi. Tokka emphasise individual experience for their guests. All equipment is well maintained and good quality. Our guide Emmi was excellent with our young children as well. Kiitos!

Excellent, fun tour. Teenagers enjoyed it and said they would like to do it again! Beautiful scenery and had some fast runs across open spaces and then through woods. Guide was great who spoke excellent English.

Our "Levifell Tour" was absolutely fantastic and ran like clockwork, which is essential when travelling as a single parent with a 9 and 7 year-old. Tokka proved to be a great company to deal with - everything was well-organised, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The snowmobiles were thrilling, and my kids loved taking turns on the back while the other enjoyed riding in an enclosed mini-campervan-style sledge. The sledge, complete with its own heater and lights, was a big hit with both of them! Our guide was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout. The stop at the reindeer farm was a lovely touch, with delicious donuts and hot berry juice to warm us up. We had plenty of time to wander around, take stunning photos, and soak in the magical surroundings. A special highlight for the little ones was unexpectedly spotting Mr. & Mrs. Claus relaxing in their hut on a rocking chair – an unforgettable moment of surprise and delight! This tour was worth every penny – a seamless and unforgettable adventure from start to finish. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a unique and magical experience!

We had a great tour with guide Bia! Sometimes a little bit bumpy but she told us how to sit and go with the flow. We had the Levi-fell tour, it went over the lake to the reindeer farm, we drunk some hot chocolat and a donut. The whole tour lastet about 2 1/2 hours.

We had a brilliant time on this tour, so good we booked to do it again! Once we were kitted out in the snow suits & helmets, we were given a full safety briefing. The snowmobiles are very easy to use & the guide started out slowly so we could get used to driving. The scenery is absolutely stunning, we took so many video's & photos. We stopped half way to visit the reindeer and have a warm drink & snack. Highly recommended way to see the beauty of Levi!

Amazing tour , do it!. We decided to upgrade and each one of us have our own snow mobile. Worth it ,one of a life time experience. To go on the snowmobile on the frozen lake and forest was breath taking. Amii(sorry if misspelled) was amazing, loved her. She was kind and so cool, always checked on us and made sure we were comfortable. And also see if we needed breaks. This is out of my comfort zone, but glad I did it and would do it again. Must book, they will provide you with equipment if needed if you are not warm enough.

Loved this experience! We did the 30k. Guides were super kind and looked after our little one in the sledge. We were able to split off into a fast group and a slow group so there was something for everyone. Handles are heated front and back, so dont worry about cold hands! Lovely donuts and hot chocolate half way through and a reindeer visit. Tokka were top of our favourite experiences.

Fantastic adrenaline trip. Group leaders were very helpful kitting us out with all the thermal gear needed -balaclavas, mitts, boots etc.included in the price. The intro to controlling the snowmobile was brief and a bit daunting at first . Within a few minutes we were riding through a magical Narnia like wood, across frozen lakes and rivers. We stopped for a much needed warm up in a cafe house and had a quick look at the reindeer in the farm on the same sight. It was so much more fun than we thought . The scenery was totally spectacular, leaving you breathless at the beauty of the landscape of the Arctic.Totally recommend this trip. Bucket list trip for sure . Very good value for money -2 people in one snow mobile for roughly £180 for a 2.5 hour trip. Would definite do another trip. No other way to experience frozen lakes, woods etc o close up! Magical and exhilarating! 10/10

We loved this tour. A great way to see the breathtaking countryside and the guide was very polite and full of interesting facts. I would definitely urge you to do this. When we return to Finland we will be doing a longer tour for sure.

Had a absolute blast together with our guide Emmi ! Took the fjell tour and it was everything we hoped for. All five of us had our own snowmobile, during the trip. Emmi took perfect care of us, picking up on our wishes to pick up pace. Stopping at beautiful sides to take pictures. If we are ever going back to Levi,....Emmi is who we are going to call!
