Hop on a snowmobile and head into the snowy forests, where the moon and stars light up the landscape, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Even if the auroras don’t appear, the beauty of snowmobiling at night is an unforgettable adventure. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to prepare a tasty snack over an open fire, just like the locals do. We recommend having an early dinner before the departure. The driving time is approximately 2 hours and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding is possible for an extra charge. Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour. The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their physical driving license with them on the tour. Please note: The northern lights are a natural occurrence and we are unable to guarantee activity, vibrancy or colour on the evening of the tour.

We had a brilliant time on the 3hr snowmobile tour and although we didn’t see the northern lights due to heavy snowfall, Fabien made sure we had an amazing time nonetheless. The whole tour was fantastically organised with clear booking instructions, plenty of kit provided to ensure we were warm enough, and the team were all great. We’ve booked all our excursions for our visit to Levi with Wild Nordic and it’s been so easy and fun.
Amazing experience snowmobiling under the stars with a fantastic guide! We did not see the lights but Lisa guided us to a place not far from Levi where we saw loads of stars when the forecast was heavily overcast in town. It was very enjoyable meeting others and learning how to snowmobile. The clothing was also extremely warm. Would do again!
Just an amazing experience, we see the northern lights en the tourguide fabien was very kind. We where with a small group en everything was perfect.
Our family of six had a great time on the snow mobiles , there were 11 of us in total including our instructor Marie , we drove out for over an hour , driving over a frozen lake and following the trails then stopped for refreshments . Marie was excellent and was very helpful, she made arrangements for my wife to travel in a sled due to a skiing mishap which left her hand in a cast. On the way back the Northern lights even made a brief appearance. We all had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend Wild Nordic and Marie
Had an amazing evening on our tour— sadly no northern lights, but Ivan and Marie made the night amazing nonetheless. The hot berry juice and sausages at the “kota” was a great break in the snowmobiling adventure. Ivan and Marie were great at giving some information on Finland and Lapland the whole night.
Wow. What an amazing experience! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side when we went so we couldn’t see the northern lights by the trip is so so special regardless! 45 minutes driving a snowmobile to this wonderful tent with so much history behind it, sitting around the campfire while the lovely people serve you hot berry juice with a gingerbread biscuit! Not only that we got given sausages to cook and then eat on the fire! Another 45 minutes drive back on the snowmobile taking in the amazing views! The guides were truly truly amazing people! So kind, and so generous! They make sure you are okay before anything, they put you before themselves! Would highly recommend!

It was a very fun activity. Our tour guides Benoit and Fabian made it even better. They truly made a big effort to take the best pictures for us.
Thank you to the amazing staff at Wild Nordic. Lisa was amazing with my little girl, who is neurodiverse. The staff are patient and want everybody to have a great time- no matter their age. My daughter has issues with the way things feel on her and she had to try on 6 different pairs of boots before she found the right ones, if the staff were annoyed they didn’t show it and I was so grateful that she felt included and not a burden. The trip was amazing. We didn’t see any Northern Lights (we did a few days later so we didn’t miss them on our holiday). We loved going on the snowmobiles, they are such a laugh. We enjoyed where we stopped for a break point midway too. We learnt about Finnish traditions and toasted a sausage on the fire. They also catered for coeliac disease- providing me with a lovely home made cake. Usually us coeliacs miss out on things like this but I really feel that Wild Nordics ethos is that everybody feels included. I can’t recommend this trip enough. It was the highlight of our holiday. Thanks to all the staff for going above and beyond. Lisa- you are a legend and really great with children. Thank you.

The scenery is amazing, to bad it was quite cloudy so we had to make do with a tiny green spot on a foto. Driving a snowmobile takes some getting used to, but Yann (our tour guide) was very friendly and understanding and encouraged us to go our own pace. He also had some entertaining stories to boot so hes a 10/ 10 (just dont trust him if he asks you to run somewhere :P)
We liked this tour a lot, group was not too big (total 6 snowmobiles + guide). For us it was the first time on a snowmobile and it took some time getting used to it at first (especially because there were many bumpy parts along the way), but soon you get used to it and enjoy it! Our guide Yann was very helpful, caring for everyone and vary professional. He provided useful information and during the tour he stopped a few times to ask if everyone was doing well. A break at the campfire was also very pleasant with a snack and a drink and great view. And yes! We were very lucky and also saw the Northern Lights, but for that it is most important to have good weather (and a clear sky). We really enjoyed our trip, everything was well organised, we recommend it!

Great experience looking for the Northern Lights! We had the chance to witness an incredible show. I highly recommend this family adventure, but remember to cover up well: line the socks, gloves and take advantage of the wetsuits and boots provided to avoid the inconveniences related to the cold. Little tip: if you want to put a child behind you, the price is that of an adult, but it is definitely worth it. A very accommodating company that quickly gave us a new date for this activity following a quid pro quo that made us miss our first appointment. Marie a guide at the top friendly and who is there to answer all our questions. Despite a high cloud density we were able to see a small white aurora with the naked eye and green on camera despite this other activities offers to fill the evening despite the absence of aurora , thank you marie for the fisherman hole in the ice 👌. It was fantastic! Lisa was a top guide and we enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful view and cool to sit on the snowmobile for the first time. Along the way we made a nice stop in a tent with a fire where we heated up our own sausage and received delicious hot drinks. View was breathtaking!
