Our first stop would The mesmerizing Chahed river, a beautiful landscape with captivating views. Then, we will move towards Volubilis, the ancient Roman Ruins that dates back to the 3rd century BC. We will wander through the captivating old castles and surviving palaces, to have a glimpse on the old Roman Empire, and admire the captivating architecture and majestic designs while taking some pictures of Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple. Continue to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, the sacred little village. Your driver will introduce you to the deep history of the beautiful town, the home of Idriss I, the first Moroccan Ruler and the one who brought Islam to Morocco. We will walk through the ancient windy streets and the beautiful old Moroccan architecture, as we visit the town's Grand Mosque, the first classical Mosque in Morocco. Afterwards, continue our Day Trip to Meknes, the historical 17th century’s heritage, and the marvelous Ismailia capital. I recently joined an excursion from Fez to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our driver was amazing. He answered all of our questions and helped us find a great guide at Volubilis. The car was clean and he was a careful driver. Volubilis was fascinating-worth the visit. We needed to get to the train station instead of returning to Fes, and he took dropped us off in front of the station.
Our friendly driver Sufian picked us up right outside of our hotel and transported us safely to Volubilis, which was our main focus on this tour. He was very helpful with advice and coordinated an English-speaking guide for our tour of the ruins that proved to be fun and very informative. He also did a wonderful job recommending a great restaurant for lunch upon arrival in Meknes. I’m sure there are other travel options to get from Fez to Meknes, but nothing compares to the polite and professional service we received on our private drive.

We’ve done a fantastic tour from Fes to Meknes, with a stop in Volubilis. Our experience was so nice, we have had all the time to enjoy the cities and to do an amazing lunch. We had a wonderful service from Nasser who is an extremely polite and well spoken professional He explained some of the history of Voubulis and gave us some excellent hints and tips about what to see and to avoid the dodgy guides in maulay Idriss as it is not necessary for such a small village. Nasser also stopped at number of spot’s giving us the opportunity to take some nice panoramic pictures
We've now used Luxury Fez Tours' services three times for day-tours around Morocco. We took the trip to the Atlas Mountains last year, and to Meknes-Volubilis and Chefchaouen this year. All three trips were very professionally organised, with clean luxury cars. Our driver this year, Nasser was very professional, kind, and polite and also had a great sense of humor. All drivers spoke very good English, and always gave brief explanations about our destinations. If you're looking for luxury day-tours with professional drivers, I couldn't recommend them enough! Hope to visit Fez again and use their services in the future!
Adil is an excellent guide. He showed us all the essential spots as well as the special places that only a local with experience can show you. It is very important to be an excellent guide because the medina of Fez is huge. We would recommend this guide to anyone and everyone who visits Fez.
We had 3 amazing days touring Fez and the surrounding cities with Jallall and we could not be happier about it! He is knowledgeable, funny, very friendly and is always worried about our well-being. He is also a very good and safe driver. The car is very confortable for the long drives. We had an amazing experience and hope to come back very very soon. We recomend this service 100% 😁
The driver Mohamed was there before time, very nice and caring young man. He took me to all three places and did not rush at any place. I had an hour for lunch in a very nice traditional Restaurant. The Car was a comfortable SUV. It was a memorable trip.

If you expect more than being driven in a nice car you will be disappointed. I was travelling on my own and took this tour alone, which was quite expensive. I thought that the driver would make comments during the tour, but he didn't know much and explained to me that in Morocco a driver is not allowed to be a guide. I visited Volubilis on my own but in Meknes I decided to pay for a guide to visit the main monuments, as otherwise I would have seen monuments from the car. In Meknes the driver took me to a terrible restaurant for lunch without even asking me where I would like to go. I would not recommend this tour if your travel on your own as it is far too expensive for the services you get.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this tour day. It went very smoothly and our guide, Mohammed was highly professional, friendly and spoke very good English. Our guide was very punctual and we had a lovely private, air-conditioned car. The drive was very smooth and we went to some lovely places on the way. Mohammed was very good at pointing out places of interest on the way. Volubilis was amazing, you can pay for a tour guide at the site, but we decided to just look at the map and go around ourselves. We were taken to Meknes after and there's lots to do around there.There are two museums just by the entrance into Meknes and loads of places to eat. We had a wonderful time on this tour!! Our guide, Red One, was incredibly kind and helpful and made the trip all the more fun! We felt very secure and comfortable in his van. Great service and friendliness of the driver, Yasir, the guide in Meknes very good although the guide in Volubilis not so much seems had to be in a hurry and did not go deep.

Mohamed has been a fantastic guide, a very interesting tour of Fez, which includes ceramic craftsmanship, leather tanneries, synagogue in the Jewish part... and most importantly, it is friendly and fun, highly recommended.

We were guided by jalal all around fez. Jalal was amazing all over the place. Helpful, generous, kind, honest and attentive to our wishes. He showed us the history of the Jews in the footsteps of our ancestors. We felt safe at all times, he looked after each member of the group (15 children and 16 adults). He guided us avoiding tourist traps in response to our request for an authentic visit.. We will resume jealous without hesitation and recommend it with our eyes closed! It is perfectly suited to the supervision of a Jewish group in search of the history of Moroccan Jews.

We would be picked up on time at the riad by Said, our driver. He speaks very good English and French and knows a lot about the country and people. Said is a very prudent driver and responds immediately to wishes or own ideas. We booked another day trip after the first tour to Meknes and Volubilis:)

Our driver Farid, made us discover the region between Fez and Meknes through the countryside and the city of Volubilis. We made a stop above a lake (photo) and then the visit of Volubilis whose entrance is not included (80 MAD) Very relaxing place marking the passage of Roman civilization The stop in Meknes did not leave us a memorable memory except the view from inside the Hassan II golf club Then return Fes by national roada
During our stay in Fez, we decided to get out of this city for a day trip around. Our choice was to visit Volubilis, the small town of Moulay Idriss and Meknes. We did not regret our choice because, in addition to the competitive price compared to other tour agencies, the vehicle and especially its heater Ali were most friendly. Ali spoke in excellent French and gave us explanations about what we were visiting. On the other hand, we used Luxury Fez Tour again to return to the airport a few days later for 15 euros, which is also competitive.
After a good hour drive in a comfortable and recent vehicle, visit Volubilis, superb Roman city (counting 1h30 visit) in the heart of a green plain. 7€ for the entrance ticket (high price increase this year!) . Then, quick passage through Moulay Idriss, holy city of Morocco. Visit Meknes then by car and free time in Meknes. Back on the highway on the way back.
