Pick up 07.30 am from hotel/riad. Travel from Fez to the Merzouga desert. But; this is not an ordinary drive. We will stop along the way in a number of enjoyable destinations. Firstly, stop at Ifrane, cedar forests are situated in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. After that, Moving to the popular pitstop of Midelt. ( break for lunch) Then, carrying on through the lush green Ziz Valley and making the last stop in Erfoud. Upon, arrival at Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage. The camels will be waiting for you for a camel trekking experience (around 45 min) to enjoy the sunset on camelback to nomad tents where you will have dinner under the starry sky with a Berber folklore show (overnight desert camp).
Get up, early for the beckoning Erg Chebbi sunrise. Enjoy camel-trek back to the hotel/riad for breakfast and shower. Before, back to Fez. We will Pass through Rissani, visiting Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif, dramatic Ziz Valley. In addition to, Damn Hassan El-Awal. ( break for lunch), visit family lives in the cave at Immouzar. Finally, at the end of Fez desert tours 2 days, drop off. (your hotel/riad Fez)
Our one-night excursion was quick but beautiful! There was a full moon over the dunes and magnificent colors in the sky. The tour guides and driver were all friendly and efficient. We definitely recommend going out to the desert! Budget for food on the route, as the tourist restaurants have inflated prices
Our guide Tarik was very kind and attentive in all the details. The camping Desert has a nice rooms but very hot inside for summer. The staff has to be more friendly. The hotel in Ourzazate was great with a fresh swimming pool well need after a long journey in the desert. Well organised stopped for photos and interesting shops during all trip. Highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of traveling from Fez to Marrakech with Iman14, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the very beginning, he was professional, attentive, warm, and welcoming. Today we had a lovely day with Imad14. He took us for a 2day trip to the Merzouga desert. It was a long ride but Imad made sure we had enough interesting stops. The experience in the desert was super! We had a quad ride, did some sandboarding and had a ride on the camels. The berber people prepared us a good mail and breakfast. Thanks Imad, it was great!!
Under the excellent guidance and driving of Imad14 we had an fantastic experience on our way and in the Merzouga desert. The ride is long but Imad14 made it interesting all the time. The various stops were well chosen. The desert was something new for us and it surely surprised us in the best way possible. The quadride, sandboarding, camelride and the stay in the tents was great. The Berberpeople made us a delicious meal and played the drums into the night. We recommend this journey to everyone! And a special thanks to Imad14, for sharing his knowledge and his kindness to make our expectations come true.
Aziz was an amazing driver and made many accommodations for us (e.g. I needed to use the bathroom and get water on 2 separate occassions and he found the best and cheapest spots for me to do so!) He is also very kind and an extremely good driver. We went from Marrakech to Merzouga being driven by Khalid and Aziz took us from Merzouga to Fes. It was a wonderful ride and we did all the things in the itinerary. But the best part was that he took us to the best restaurant for lunch! All of the other tour groups complained that the Lunch stops from Merzouga to Fes were very bad, but our tour group really enjoyed our stop at Khasbah Dounia. Most enjoyable food I had during my whole stay in Morocco and was only 120 dirham (~£12) for as much as I could eat! If you book through Marrakech Desert Tours, then try ask them to give you Aziz or Khalid as your drivers as Khalid was very informative and Aziz was very accommodating. Don't pay €120 for the Quad Bikes as we found much cheaper ones on GetYourGuide (granted they were not in the desert), but defo try upgrade both your Hotel and Desert Tent stay (€35 each). The people who stayed at the standard hotel said it was not good at all, but we only upgraded to the Medium Private Hotel (Dar Essalama) and it was AMAZING! Shower was perfect, food was delicious (dinner and breakfast were delicious and filled us up so well). Aziz was amazing and I would without a doubt book through Marrakech Desert Tours again (they have one of the cheapest offerings with late notice and with upgrades - we spent around £210 per person - but there were additional things through the 3 day tour that we brought from street vendors etc). Thank you! Reply to my review if you have Questions - me and my partner really enjoyed it but will definitely highlight both the good and the bad.

We had a great experience in Merzouga and our way to the desert from Fes, thanks to our driver Aziz and our tour guide Tarik who is so kind, he talked about their culture and a lot of interesting things regarding the locations.
The trip was amazing! We started with a good marrocain breakfast at the meeting point from where we were starting the adventure. Our guide and driver Tarik was so friendly and fluent in English. He explaind a lot about the culture and the regions we passed by. The variety of the landscapes you drive through is so inspiring. And there were several stops and time to accomodate. The cherry🍒 on the cake was of course the desert. It was overwhelmingly beautiful! At night time there was some nice local music at the camp fire and we even played some drums our selfves. What a unique experience. Our guide, Mohammad was amazing. He was kind, respectful, helpful and had a great sense of humour. We were pleasantly surprised with the camping facilities. We enjoyed the music and the friendliness of the staff.

The camel ride was pleasant and met our expectations. We recommend this family outing!
The experience with Tarik was incredible. We could not have had a better driver and companion. His knowledge of the area and the people makes the trip even better. We loved the stay at the camp in Merzouga and we were able to experience it in several ways because it rained on us in the morning, but that only enriched the enjoyment even more. As a suggestion for improvement, I would say that a little more variety at dinner and breakfast would be appreciated. We will definitely repeat and look for Tarik.

Highly recommended excursion. Very good experience in the desert. I loved seeing the landscape, stepping on the dunes... Our guide Tarik, very attentive, knowledgeable about his country, history, and customs. Attentive to the needs of all the members of the group. The only thing I didn't like was that they tried to sell us a quad excursion outside of the price already paid.
2-day excursion with Tarik, our guide. A person who deserves to be known. Tarik is very welcoming, very attentive to his travelers. He knows the history of his country, including the economy, religion, politics... He has an answer to all our questions. He masters foreign languages perfectly (French and Spanish for our group). He is a great driver behind the wheel of his Renault Trafic 😅. He should sign up for car rallies! We discovered his singing talents 😂 and we joined him in his moments of fun 😂😂😂. We recommend him without hesitation. It was a first time in Morocco for us and we are going to leave with a lot of knowledge, magnificent photos, and stars in our eyes! Everything was wonderful and the guide was very kind and functional since he explained the entire landscape and its history, he was a very fun guy and easy to talk to, especially because of his high language proficiency since he knew how to speak fluently in all the languages we needed
It has been an incredible experience and Imad (our driver) was a delight. The luxury haima is totally recommended, thanks to the fact that we had air conditioning we were able to rest.

Super welcome from Imad 14 who was our driver throughout the stay , the scenery is so beautiful that the road does not seem so long , the bus is comfortable and the stops frequent . We go from snow to sand dunes in a few hours it’s incredible! Super comfort in tents! And the quad is awesome!
