Despite some periodic heavy rain, this was a great trip. Badr was an excellent driver who made sure that I understood the ins and outs of visiting the Volubilis ruins, the village of Moulay Idriss, and the city of Meknes. Badr was well-versed in English, and an engaging conversationalist. The highlights of the trip for me were the vast and picturesque ruins of Volubilis, and the gorgeous mausoleum of Moulay Isma’il in Meknes. A thoroughly interesting and enjoyable excursion.

It was a nice trip to see many different places in one go. We had good guides explaining the background of history, architecture, culture and the life. Also we were dropped of on a Restaurant in Meknes where you got a 3-course menu for fair price.

After Volubilis in the morning, the day was very very good with the visit of a mausoleum mosque… unique to go there. This was an exceptional trip. Our guide Humaima and Driver Moha were absolutely awesome. Our pick-up was on time, the drive was comfortable, the breaks were well-planned. Humaima was very knowledgeable and articulate, and gave very good insights about the places visited. Her way of explaining was very good and easy to follow. She also was aware of our country and culture, which was a nice surprise. The local guides they work with were also very knowledgeable and provided good insights to the places visited.

We had a great tour of both Volubilis and Meknes. Our driver arranged for two separate guides and they were both excellent. Both sites are worth seeing. Volubilis is extremely well preserved as Roman cities go. Meknes has interesting history and is one of the imperial cities.

After a very fun trip with Badr to Chefchaouen, we instantly booked this trip for the next day. The trip was perfectly planned. We stopped at several gorgeous panoramic views. Badr also gave us a perfect recommendation for a restaurant. Really worth doing this trip with him!

We arranged a pickup at our hotel which wasn't on the original booking list but that was no problem. Our driver was on time and was a great person to spend the day with. The car was pristine and he was an excellent driver, we always felt safe even though you clearly need some hustle to get through some of the towns and busier areas. We had all the time we needed to visit the sights on the way, we never felt rushed. Volubilis was definitely the highlight, amazing place. We didn't think too much of Moulay Idriss though it was an easy place to stop and look around. We had a nice lunch in Meknes, slightly annoying we were given the 'tourist menu' which was pretty limited and we saw other tables having more interesting options (nothing to do with this tour though!). We had time for a wander around Meknes then back to Fez, our driver was happy to drive us to the tombs for a great view of Fez but we'd already been the day before. We were impressed with the day, recommended.

Originally I booked this tour through another platform but because of the pandemic, they reached out and requested us to cancel that booking which was also fully refunded. They then suggested that I can make a separate private tour instead, which surprisingly is affordable. Pedro (Badr) met us at our Riad and gave us an amazing day all over the Imperial Cities. He is a local of the area and he is very knowledgable and an expert of what to and where to. We liked how we navigated going from Fes to Volubilis with a stop at Sidi Chahed for a very nice photo op, then proceeded to Moulay Idriss with another stop with an awesome panoramic view of the whole city, which is breathtaking Then we head to Meknes. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, some of the tourist sites were closed but still, we were able to have a good time as Pedro shared stories and interesting quirks that only a local would know. Lastly, though not part of the program, Pedro generously accommodated extra locations like stopping at a Carrefour to stock some Cabernet & Absoluts, and he took us to the leather tannery. We were so happy with how professional Pedro is, as a guide and he is a very careful and safe driver too. We then made an additional booking for the Fes Old Medina Walking Tour for the next day. I highly recommend Pedro and would love to have him as a guide again if ever I return to Fes.

I learned about Pedro from my Médina tour guide and I’m happy I did! He took me from Fes to Volubilis where I got to tour amazing Roman architecture, then we went to Meknès where he introduced me to his friend who toured me around! I had such a good time that I decided to book another tour with him the next day. On day two I did a shorter tour because I had a flight in the afternoon. He drove me around Fes to many different locations including the Jewish Quarters, the Royal Palace and multiple sights overlooking the city! I had a fantastic time on both days! If you’re looking for a day trip in the Fes area Pedro is your guy!

We had a great day trip with Sufyan. The car was very comfortable, I am a big template and I never imagined having so much room to extend the legs.
