This was an excellent trip, and a welcome escape from the June heat of Fez Medina. Ahmad was a very knowledgeable and approachable guide. En route we learnt from him not only about Moroccan history, but also about agriculture, geography, tourism, about the Moroccan King..and much more! We met lots of cheeky monkeys in the cedar forest which was a bonus. Thank you, Ahmad!

Very good spot selection to see multiple places and landscapes on the same day. The guide could explain more about the towns/places and could also drive more carefully
This is not a tour, only transport. They drop you off in the town centers and tell you to go look around for an hour. No guide, no history, no information. The driver suggested I use ChatGPT for where to go and what I was looking at... There's nothing to see in these towns. Monkeys were cute, but they are only 15 minutes of a 7 hour day.
I booked this tour with Viator and it was absolutely fantastic! The trip to the Atlas Mountains was even better than I expected. The scenery was breathtaking, the stops were well-planned, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really fun and relaxed. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco. It was one of the highlights of my trip!
Mustafa was the perfect guide for our Middle Atlas adventure. He made the trip fun, educational, and comfortable from start to finish. We loved meeting the monkeys and exploring small Berber villages.
We had a lovely day being shown around this beautiful area of Morocco today. Our driver and guide, Aziz, was extremely personable and friendly. He is an excellent driver and showed us some beautiful views and fascinating places that we would not otherwise have found on our own. A particular highlight was feeding the monkeys in the cedar forest in Azrou. The lunch venue was also excellent. Thank you, Aziz, for a wonderful day.
I had an extra day in Fes so I decided to do a tour in the Atlas Mountains and I booked the tour to ifrane and Azrou. It’s very amazing to see the life of mountains people and how they live also the landscaping is astonishing. There was no other tourist with me so it ended up as a private tour. Moustafa my guide and driver was very helpful and very professional driver and guide. The car was super clean and air conditioned as well . Ifrane is a beautiful town which gives you the Alpes vibes and totally different than the rest of Morocco. I have enjoyed my tour and highly recommended
The experience started on time. Mustafa was already waiting and he was super nice and took us through the planned program, teaching us a little more about Fez and Moroccan culture. He also was kind enough to answer our questions and give us recommendations. Just because we mentioned one time during our conversation that we haven’t tried the fish pastilla, he managed to stop on the way back to final point to surprise us with Fish pastilla to take away with us. Such a beautiful gesture to show the warmth and hospitality of Morocco!!! I highly recommend this activity.
Zaki is an excellent guide! He took his time at each place we visited and took our group to an authentic Moroccan dining experience as well. From the forest where the macaques thrive to viewing “the rock’,” the landscape was varied and beautiful in each place. I got to sip tea with an actual Berber which was a highlight for me due to Zaki’s friendship with this man. It is a full, relaxing day with a man who takes his time to communicate with you and treats you as an honored guest. Fantastic day!
Amazing experience seeing the different locations and the green nature of Morocco. If you are an animal lover you will love visiting the monkeys. But please respect them, don't try to fight back for a bag of peanuts as we some people doing... Just keep them in your pocket. Our driver/guide Houssin was a great guy.
We had an amazing time on our tour through the Atlas mountains. The stops are very well chosen and we 100% recommend this trip. More than anything our guide Said made it a great day. He was very lovely, understanding and overall just a great guy that improved our experience tremendously. Make sure to ask for him!
My friend and I were the only travellers on the group. Because of this, we had the full attention of our guide. We had a great time on the tour with our lovely guide Mohcine! He is a humble and friendly man who is in for a chat, and he brought us to beautiful places. We fed monkeys, had a great view over Azrou, and we even did a little hike as well. Greatly recommended
My sister and I were the lone travelers on this excellent tour. At first I was disappointed because we love making new friends, but our driver and guide, Baha, was the best company we had in Morocco. He spoke English, French, and Spanish and we had an amazing time getting to know him and his country and culture by speaking all three languages. There was never a dull moment and when the trip was over we were sad to part ways with him. We will miss our new friend! The Middle Atlas Mountains are incredible to behold and the many stops on the trip exposed us to just how diverse Morocco really is. The short stop in Ifrane was particularly interesting in this regard as we felt as if we were at a Swiss ski resort! I felt a little silly learning the Berber cave home was basically an immersive museum and not an authentic living space, but it was still very cool to see how the Berber people once lived. Several other tours joined us on this stop and the owner of the space spoke French and English very well and provided us with some truly amazing Berber tea. If you liked the mint tea in Fez, wait until you try this tea with eleven different herbs. Wow! Visiting the monkeys at the cedar forest was probably the highlight of the trip. They are beautiful, soulful creatures and interacting with them was an absolute delight. Baha also took us to a fish hatchery and a family park where we were able to get up close and personal with some camels. This was special for us because we had not been able to do a desert tour. Being able to interact with camels made us feel less like we were missing out. We were also telling Baha about how we hadn’t had time to see the panoramic view of Fez…and he made a little extra time at the end of our tour to take us there right at sunset! What a great guide and what a full day. I think the best part of this particular tour is that you get to see many different sides to Morocco. It’s a peaceful, pleasant, fun-filled learning experience. Thank you to 3t and someone should give Baha a raise. I don’t know if you can request specific guides, but if you enjoy interacting with people from the country you are in, try to find a tour with Baha because he is a truly lovely person. 3t was communicative and friendly leading up to the tour, which lasted from about 9:30 until 6:00. This is not a shopping tour which worked well for us, but if you do want to make some stops in Azrou and check out wares by the artisans you will be accommodated.
Our guide, Ismael, was great and made the tour very enjoyable! He made sure everyone was having a good time and answered all of our questions.
Really enjoyed the trip. Found it very relaxing and got plenty of time to see the villages of ifrane and azrou. Driver was excellent and our guide / host Baha was entertaining and informative marking all the group feeling listened to. Overall a lovely day out
Hassan is a great guide: punctual and professional, but also fun to talk to. He provides a basic structure which is a great experience in and of itself, and gives you the option to make changes as per your taste. It is obvious he has deep personal relationships with the places and the people. Use this guy!!!
I booked this trip and was not disappointed! My guides/Drivers Hassan and Redoune did a wonderful job. Save driving, friendly chat and knowledge about the area was always very appreciated. The mix of the sceneries really made me appreciate Morocco even more! Always felt save and comfortable! Thank you very much and I look forward to my next trip with you!
Very good experience travelling with the mini-bus, relaxing ....Hassane very good as driver and as person, doing his best for the best of the group...
Mon frere Hassan was a really good guide. As a group we have enjoyed all the trip, we were never in a rush, so we have visited all by taking all the time we Need. I reccomend him. shokran khoya
We had a great experience on this trip. The company was quick to reply over WhatsApp and even picked us up from our requested location which was not on their usual list! Our guide souka had a great fun and friendly personality and answered all our questions as well as being quick to offer information of her own, and driver idris did a great job navigating the roads and traffic. Overall a great day out to escape the sometimes overwhelming bustle of the city!
A date of time and money. We requested a Spanish speaking driver and, yes, he was Spanish speaking. That's the end of the good. First stop: a man made cave with Christmas lights in a Berber village where a long man tried got convince us that his 96 year old grandmother made all the rugs, clothing, scarves, tin cups et.al. that he tried to sell us -- voila, he even had a picture to share on his cellphone! -- and when we showed no interest in buying, he charged us $10 for the tea he had served. No interaction with the Berber villagers. Then to a town, dropped off for an hour, to take pictures of a lion carved into stone while driver had a coffee and cigarette. Then to a fish hatchery -- just like that which is five minutes from my home. Then to lunch in an outdoor cafe in a Berber town -- with everyone smoking, and nowhere for us to escape -- and no interaction with the Berbers. Then to a park, many Berber families picnicking -- no interaction with the Berbers. Yes, some beautiful views along the way, otherwise a waste. We did another Middle Atlas Mountain activity, twas the best day of our Morocco trip. This one wasn't.
Nice experience! We had enough time at all the stops (my favorites being: the Berber House/cave and the monkies in Atlas Mountain and the view there), had nice dinner and our tour guide Ismael went out of this way to show us a goat farm along the way, have dinner at a nice local restaurant, and gifted us fresh cherries. Would recommend! The communication and logistics were smooth.
The tourist guides were great! The car very confortable and the monkies are adorable. Being able to see the countryside was amazing. It's so beautiful
The day was a perfect mix of scenery, countryside and experiences. From seeing a trout hatchery to Monkeys gently touching you to vitas over amazing scenery. Nicely paced stops and breaks throughout. Mohammed was a super guide, friendly knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even showed us some of his home town secrets. Thanks for a great day Mohammed!
Our guide Muhammad was wonderful, he took the time to explain whatever history was necessary including pointing out some key areas of interest. My favorite was Ifrane. This trip exposed me to a different Morocco, just love it! Also it was exciting to visit a real Berber cave.
Disappointing! We were taken to uninteresting towns and just told to do our own thing! Nothing of interest to see! No explanation from the guide as to what to see and do!. Feeding the monkeys was the only enjoyable activity! Nothing to see in Ifrane! Very boring trip!. Don’t waste your money!
The driver/guide Hassan is from Irfan, so he drives us to different places for visit. He is very flexible and open for communication and very considerate . I am my friend are both highly recommended this tour and Hassan. Thx so much
The views were amazing, beautiful countryside and mountains. Our driver was excellent and we enjoyed messing around in the snow as much as seeing the monkeys and Berber cave house. He found us a great place for lunch too.
It was a Nice tour with a good beging speeking guide, we enjoyed the walk in the forrest with the monkeys and the traditional cave a lot.
We took a trip outside of the Medina of fez to beautiful nature, new architecture, learned about old traditions in caves and gave monkeys some peanuts.
A nice drive into the Middle Atlas area to see landscape, forest, and monkeys. The driver Soufine spoke English well and was good conversation about many subjects. He had a great attitude and was accomadating on my suggestions to see something.
Tour guides were completely inexperienced, didn’t know what they were doing. Didn’t provide any information about the locations and just basically left us alone. Had a health situation and didn’t take us directly to Fes, but instead went around little towns looking for a hospital/clinic that had the medicine that we needed, wasting our time in the process. It was super stressful and unnecessary. Don’t recommend it in any way. At least we got a reimbursement and an apology right away, which made things a little bit better.
Really relaxing and enjoyable day with a small group of only two other guests. Our guide, Wafa, was absolutely lovely and made it a very calm trip. Good selection of stops throughout the mountains and got to get a real feel for the area from the monkeys in the forest to the (very) different towns to the Berber cave. Would definitely recommend if you'd like a small introduction to Fes's surrounds.
Amazing tour. Only 2 of us booking at that time, felt like a private tour. It was nice, we went to alot of places, we had a few hours here and there but this city called Ifrane which is a beautiful european city, very lush green and well maintained, is really special! People are friendly and make sure to wamder around and visit the cooperative shop! Driver dont speak english but we managed to understand each other with universal body language, but the guide Ikram spoke English very well. And we had pleasant journey with them. Totally will use this tour operator again in future.
Tea in a Berber cave house was particularly memorable, including dressing up in traditional berber clothing.
Great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and beat the heat for awhile. Really enjoyed seeing the Switzerland of Morocco and the Barbery Apes.
Both the driver and the guide (Ouma) were very friendly and knowledgeable. The itinerary was well planned and we visited a lot of different sites, getting to see different aspects of the local culture and countryside. Would definitely recommemd the tour!
Our driver Hamza was really nice. We had a great experience. He gave us some recommendations that were very usefull for us along the Tryp.
It was amazing big thank you to Sofias!!!we really enjoyed the trip definitely will go with Sofia again and take the next trip , I will recommend the trip!!!! Thank u Sofian! Best regards Anastasija
Driss from 3t Tours did a great job. He knew all the best spots to go and treated us to a wonderful day driving around the Middle Atlas Mountains. His English is great and he’s sincerely friendly.
Our driver and our translator were really nice, the reason why we are not giving less. They took us to see many things but I had to land them the itinerary, because maybe the agency didn't tell them what we had planned. Both hacine and oumaima were such good people and the best part of the trip was being with them and get to know them. The best part was the monkey forest, other villages were just regular to visit.
Great driver ; very knowledgeable; monkeys. Cedar trees were amazing.Really enjoyed talking with Aziz
We had a great time on this tour. Our favorite part was the monkeys because my 2 year old son loved feeding them. The 2 villages we visited were beautiful to walk around. I recommend this tour.
Amazing trip with the best tour guide. Souka and our driver Mohammed did a great job showing us the beauty of Mid Atlas mountains. It was the perfect choice. I am glad we did it .. WOW! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Had a great day exploring the countryside and mountains of Morocco. Our driver was flexible and gave us freedom to explore, while giving us interesting information when we asked. Would recommend if looking for an experience where you still have independence!
Amazing experience! 100% would recommend. Our guide Reda was honestly the best:) every part of this tour was spot on! Especially the baby Monkeys;) beautiful way to spend the day and a welcomed break from the high energy in the Medina!
The tour was great, we were unlucky because of the weather but our guides were super nice and we still had a good experience and got to explore a very interesting part of Morocco.
Day has everything: culture, animals, food, great guides. Abdul and Fakradin were absolutely amazing, made us very welcome and we had a good laugh. Imouzzer, Ifrane and Azrou were nice places to see for a change from Fes, and the monkeys didn't disappoint. Most affordable day trip from Fes, highly recommend!
We had a great tour day with our guide Mostafa! Relaxed trip, a lot of information and a extra drive to Safrou! Thank you very much Mostafa for this wonderful day in this beautiful Marocco !
Private tour, driver Mohammed was great. We visited all the described on the itinerary. Very nice experience. Watch for those apes on Cedar Forest, funniest things, until your pooped on! 🤣
