The experience was underwhelming and not at all traditional. The process was confusing and disorganised . I was disappointed and wasted my time and money

An amazing hamam & massage experience which left us feeling relaxed & rejuvenated! All staff were professional, friendly & attentive. Upon arrival we received Moroccan mint tea and cakes which was a lovely touch. The lady at reception explained clearly the whole procedure of our package. The hamam experience was great & including a variety of natural scrubs & masks that were applied to our body from head to toe leaving our skin feeling cleansed and rejuvenated. We also received orange juice and water to keep hydrated during our hamam session which we appreciated, keeping us hydrated. The full body massage was very relaxing, I chose the beautiful scented orange blossom argan oil to be applied during the massage which left my skin glowing and fragrant all day. The ladies who did the hamam scrub and massage were lovely, they took care of us and explained each step making us feel at ease. All facilities were very clean and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan design. Overall our experience was exceptional and would definitely recommend and would return again.

an Hamman is always a magical experience. Putting yourself in the hands of a stranger who guides you through various cleansing rituals is a lesson in surrendering relaxation. This was no different. The women who attended us had very limited english yet communicated clearly what was next and the actual scrub left me feeling bright and renewed. The location was very difficult to find as GPS does not work so well in the Fes medina and the number of tiny allyways you must navigate to get there frightened my husband which did limit the overall experience. Once you arrive it's opulant and uxorious but if you get nervous in the maze like medina you might want to find a Hamman less off the beaten track

It is a lovely place and amazing staff, the process is very nice too… but I sadly got 2 injuries, one of which didn’t heal for a month, on my left foot while traveling, which did negatively affect my experience... the other one was on my left elbow. This was due to a hard scrubbing done with a hard ceramic tool by the staff. They were incredibly nice, but better training is needed. If not for that, I’d fully recommend it.

If you've never been to a hammam, don't miss it. This one is, allegedly, the best in town. I certainly enjoyed it. It's about 45 minutes and will leave you thoroughly relaxed and pampered, your skin buttery smooth. We coupled our hammams with 45-minute massages. I found mine to be pleasant but not exceptional. (My partner really enjoyed his, though.)

We booked the Royal Hamman experience, having never experienced a hammam before. It was easy to book with good communication. The entire experience from the welcome tea & cookies to the actual hammam was wonderful. The staff & hammam ladies were absolutely brilliant . The products are great & the place is clean. Palais Amani itself is so beautiful. I can't recommend this experience enough.

The courtyard of the Amani is beautiful & green & calm. The staff were very gracious. Hiba gave me my scrub & she was so sweet & made me feel comfortable & cared for. My massage was excellent, I like the Moroccan technique. Everyone was very accommodating & professional. The facilities were very clean & the mosaics were beautiful.

The place is amazing and the treatment is memorable. All the staff was professional and helpful. After the spa we stayed for dinner.

We really wanted to have the traditional hammam experience and also relax as this was nearing the end of our trip in Morocco. We booked the combined hammam + massage experience, and it did not disappoint. The hammam and massage were both great and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

This was our first hammam experience. We booked a traditional couples hammam. The attendants were lovely and explained the treatment. Overall, it was wonderful. We left relaxed and super clean. Highly recommend Les Bain Amani.

A private hammam and massage in most relaxing surroundings (for Old Fez). The diligence of the staff in creating a calming environment is to be commended. I felt like I'd been taken to pieces and re-built!

My mother and I did the Amani Unwind Happy Hour, and we really enjoyed it! The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the environment was serene. They explained the whole process and guided us through it. The hammam experience included a black soap and rose water wash, clay hair mask, and exfoliating scrub. We were served fresh lemon juice and water while in the hammam. After a shower, we were dried off and had a 45 minute oil massage (I chose the orange blossom scent and loved it). The massage room was candle lit and there was relaxing music playing. It was a pretty gentle massage, more for relaxation than to address any muscle injuries. There was also a bird hooting melodically, which sounded like an owl to this American tourist, that really added to the experience. After the massage, we dressed and were served mint tea and cookies. It was only supposed to be 1.5 hours, but since we were slow to put on our clothes it ended up being closer to 2 hours, but the staff didn't rush us at all. The experience was well worth the money and I would gladly go back next time I'm there.

After a long trek to Fes through the Sahara Desert this experience was welcomed. All senses are awakened as you experience this Hamman. Luxury, beauty and grace. A must do and highly recommend.

We had a unique experience at Palais Amani; everything was perfect the palais itself, the reception, the Hamman at Les Bains Amani, the light lunch in the beautiful garden, etc, etc ...MERITE UN DETOUR!...

The spa was beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the Royal Hammam experience, although my friend thought the exfoliation was a bit rough. I think that’s the point, however. I thought it was a great experience and overall rejuvenating. The spa was comfortable and clean. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the clay hair mask as my hair is finicky and dries out easily. The tea and cookies after was a nice touch, they give you juice and water during it as well. All in all I would recommend it!

I absolutely reccomend this experience at Palais Amani. The ritual of Hamman surrounds you from the first to the last second you enter the hotel. The welcoming, the treatments... Everything was just perfect!!! Every detail matters and there is so much effort in the confort and wellbeing of the client. We had a perfect time there.

This is definitely the best place to relax when in Fez. The hammam is so beautiful and the team of attendants kind and gentle. I had a half day of complete relaxation here and can only recommend it as the best thing to do when in Fez

The best massage my wife and I have ever had! The Hostess (sorry, forgot her name) was exceptional and even gave my wife and I a present when she found out it was my wife's birthday. Beautiful and elegant Medina, and first class service. A must do!

I had the Traditional Hamman Treatment and it was wonderful. Very relaxing, the Hamman is beautiful and you can relax in the hotel for as long as you would like. Afterwards, I just laid in the sun on the rooftop and was treated to tea and pastries. Everyone is lovely at Palais Amani, will try to stay there next time.

we booked a hammam and massage for the first day of the new year and the experience was incredible! what a perfect way to start the new year! it was definitely worth the visit and after we had a great drink in the bar by the fire. quite perfect in fact!

My daughter booked me the hand and foot scrub Hammam session as a gift. It was wonderful from start to finish. The Hammam engages all the senses. What so stood out to me was the kind attention from the staff who couldn't have been more helpful--even cleaning my jeans leg that had a shocking muddy splash from the taxi in the rain. I felt superbly cared for. Highest recommendation!

My friend and I agreed that our hammam experience at Palais Amani was a highlight of our Morocco trip. We were first offered a drink and some snacks before being led upstairs to change into our robes. Then we headed downstairs to the hammam. Two helpful women thoroughly scrubbed us down, massaged argan oil all over, and applied a clay mask to our hair. Finally, we washed the clay/oils off in a warm shower. The whole hammam environment was beautiful - warm, steamy, and dimly lit by many small candles lining the rooms. It was a peaceful, meditative space, and one of the most relaxing mornings I’ve had. I would definitely check it out!

We stayed at Palais Amani a few years ago, and had a hammam then; then last month stayed again and could not resist having another one. The standards were just as high, it was an excellent hammam. It feels really special being in the subterranean, hot hammam rooms, tiled entirely in zellige and lit only by candle light. being the only person in there is feels very special having all of this attention just for you. The hammam itself was great, very relaxing, with a variety of scrubs and oils applied to your body then washed off with copious buckets of really hot water. Then half way through there was the chance to lie down for ten minutes or so only to be revived by a glass of home made lemonade. It was really refreshing and highly recommended after spending some time in the dusty souks of the medina!

Enter through an imposing door into a beautiful riad courtyard to be greeted & enjoy mint tea. Firstly up stairs to change into robe & Moroccan leather slippers, then down stairs & into the underground heated tiled hamman rooms lit by many candles. Hands and feet first, & then whole body lotions, scrubbing & rinsing by your personal attendant. shower & upstairs to rest, change & refreshment, very relaxing. We also had lunch in courtyard & some wine on the rooftop terrace. Food excellent & service by all staff excellent.
