The trip is very complete with several stops to take photos, the landscapes change throughout the trip. Everything is very well organized, luckily we had a small group of eight people. Nothing is expensive. Our driver Mehdi was very nice, friendly and spoke Spanish and French in addition to Arabic and English. He was very flexible and told us many anecdotes about the local culture. Mehdi drove very well and safely. I hope you get the same driver. Overall, very good experience!
there were several stops along the way to the desert that made the long journey more enjoyable. we stopped at a rug shop and learned about Berber weaving, and walked through a beautiful valley to learn about regional agriculture. the camel riding, sand boarding, and camping were very fun, too
Among the many different excursions that there were to choose from, we opted for this one since we saw that there was the possibility of doing the trip to the camp by camel and the return trip by quad. Our driver Ibrahim speaks a good english and he was very helpful, it has been a great 2 days with him. Regarding the excursion, the stops along the way and the night in the desert have been impressive, with views that look like something out of a movie. You have to see this at least once in your life. Ibrahim, thank you for being so attentive and showing us the stars at night. Marina and Aitor.
Morocco is a great place to visit. Driving to the Atlas Mountains and all the way to Merzouga is no exception if you want to see the country side. The drive is long, 590 km one way, but our driver did an excellent job.activities supervised by friendly and professional guides. the themes are varied, taken care of by our driver Abderrahman, known as Abdou, a dynamic, punctual and smiling driver. very pleasant and multilingual with an eclectic playlist. thank you Abderrahman . very happy with the tour.
The tour is fantastic, the various stages are very well organized and allow you to see many things and have unexpected experiences. The night in the desert was worth the effort of the entire return journey, it was magical! If you can choose the luxury camp you will have comforts listed in the description which have an excellent quality/price ratio. Everything beautiful!
Excellent excursion, the place where we stayed and the attention of the staff was exceptional; I have to make a very special mention for our driver Hamza, always attentive to our queries, an excellent driver with whom you feel safe to go on the road, an outstanding one!!!
Hussein, our driver, was te best ever. He was very sweet and kind and he liked to sing songs with us in the car. He drove very safe and we never felt rushed. On the way he told us lots of things, it was good information. We woud give him 10/10 en would recommend him to everyone. The stays in the Sahara and the hotel were great.
It was a beautiful experience. Our driver/guide Hussein was perfect in everything. In the desert, a truly incredible welcome. Beautiful evening after dinner playing in front of the fire. Definitely the best part of this trip
The activity has been great thanks to our driver Hamza who has made the trip more enjoyable at all times. we were also impressed by the price! I will always carry these beautiful three days in my heart. An experience that we would definitely recommend
This experience exceeded what we thought! Lovely guides, we did camel trekking, watched the sunset! The tents had air conditioning and we never got cold, the food was delicious! We spent NY there and we think this was the best way to do it and best experience in Morocoo! Thank you everyone for this!!
I had a wonderful trip for 2 days !! I especially want to thank our guide/driver HAMZA from BekbenTravael ! He was the best! He was very nice and chill! I had a wonderful time because of him! the tour was managed very well with great guides providing us with information about the history and significance of the places. The guides were really passionate about their cultutre and about thier job Sahara dessert excursion was an adventurous activity we really enjoyed it. Though the camel ride is a thing to look forward but if someone has back issues must think twice before climbing the camel. The food served to us throughout the journey was delicious. We took luxury option in which we got a private tent with ensuite bathroom, which was a really great arrangement in middle of nowhere. People serving us food and hosting us were friendly. I would highly recommend it.
everything was beautiful, the driver was very kind and helpful. The stops along the way were very interactive and fun. The camel ride, dinner and dancing with the Berbers are truly an experience to be had. The activities at the dessert were great and we really enjoyed the camel ride and watching the sunset the camel tour was a unique and fantastic experience, as well as dinner and the very clean camp and the staff very attentive to all needs. The tents provided had everything we needed and we very comfortable
It was a great experience. We chose a small group, 4 people, which was very nice. This gave you more attention to the guide and allowed you to fully enjoy the majesty of the Sahara. The wind was blowing very hard, which made it very special. It's a pity that we couldn't see a sunset because of it. The stay and everyone there was fantastic. A wonderful experience richer.
Oh man, it was a wonderful experience of my life. My family and I were on vacation for more than 3 weeks and went to over 12 cities to enjoy it, but the time we spent in the desert was the best time of all. I have to say that the management has been in contact with me throughout the tour. I would like to thank Mustafa, the driver who took us from Fez to the camp, was so kind and cooperative, always willing to help and provided many details about almost every city we have been to. I would say that no one can get bored in his company. . The tent was comfortable and cozy, the staff was very cooperative and ready to help you. The delicious and abundant dinner and breakfast in quantity, the camel ride was great. In the end, I have to say that it was my best decision to take this luxury tour .
We made a one night and two day excursion from Fez, staying in a tent in the Sahara desert and returning to Fez. In the morning I was a little worried about whether I could properly participate in the visit, but I was safely picked up in Riyadh. There were 10 participants including us. Unfortunately, on the first day the weather was bad and it rained during the crossing of the mountains, but I was overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery. As we approached the desert, the rain S’ stopped and we were able to witness a magnificent sunset ! The camel ride was super fun and the large sand dunes were incredibly beautiful. I wish we were more, but in the evening we went back to our tents. My tent was located on the sand dunes, and I thought I would stay there until morning, but it was actually a bit far away. The next morning we took advantage of the desert, which was not’ a large sand dune, but accessible on foot from our tent. What surprised me was the tent ! We chose an ordinary tent over a luxury one, but the tent had a king size bed, two single beds, a toilet, a sink and a shower. However, I did not use the shower as the water flow was low and there was no hot water. However, initially I thought that each tent would not have a sink, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. They also carried my suitcase to the tent, I'so had put enough things for one night under the tent in my backpack, but I didn't need them. The room is cute too ! I think the difference between luxury tents and luxury tents lies in the quality of the shower and the availability of Wi-Fi, but I was satisfied with the normal tent as it was largely enough for the price ! For dinner, we all ate delicious dishes. The campfire with Berber music was also fun. Before participating, I was afraid to drive more than 7 hours a day, but as I was taking motion sickness medication, I was, i was not getting drunk at all and I could have a comfortable time ! On the way back, we visited the market of Rissani, had lunch in the same drive-in where we went and arrived in Fez around 20 a.m. The tajine and Moroccan lunch salad were also delicious. This tour was really fun! ! It was a wonderful experience! ! thanks very much. I would like to participate again one day !
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary experience , The camp itself was a haven of luxury surrounded by impressive desert dunes. Attention to detail and warm, attentive service resulted in comfort and enjoyment that exceeded all expectations.Desert sunsets were a breathtaking display of natural beauty, and starry nights felt like a glimpse into another world. The opportunity to immerse myself in the culture and engage with the Berber community gave the experience depth and authenticity that I will always cherish. I want to commend your team for their exceptional professionalism and genuine care. Their knowledge and passion for creating meaningful experiences were evident in every aspect of the journey, and it made a profound impact on my overall experience. Thank you Hamza for orchestrating a journey that not only met but exceeded my expectations. It was a true privilege to have been a part of such a remarkable adventure, and I will carry the memories with me for a lifetime.
The opportunity to spend a night in the Sahara desert was truly magical. This luxury camp was the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the desert while enjoying world-class amenities. The small group provided an intimate and personal experience and gave me the opportunity to connect with other travelers in a meaningful way. The sunsets and sunrises over the dunes were truly breathtaking and the memories I made will last forever. The accommodations were luxurious, the traditional Moroccan food was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally hospitable. During my time at camp, I felt a deep sense of peace and gratitude, and it was a truly soul-nourishing experience. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team for organizing such a wonderful trip. It was clear that every detail had been carefully planned, resulting in an experience that left a deep impression on me. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. I will cherish this experience and the lessons I learned from it. I look forward to embarking on future adventures with your agency and will wholeheartedly recommend your services to friends and family.
Oh my goodness, Merzouga is an absolute dream! The trip with the Hanza and a small group was beyond amazing. The vast, golden dunes, the starry nights, and the warm hospitality of the locals made it an unforgettable experience. The small group setting allowed for a more intimate and personalized adventure, creating a real sense of camaraderie. It was a journey filled with awe-inspiring moments and genuine connections. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to experience such a magical place with a fantastic travel agency and a close-knit group. It sounds like an incredible adventure!
All our bookings were on time and courteous, with all the information we needed up front. Everything was on schedule, that needed to be and then the extra bonuses, like extra time on camel ride was a blessing and a surreal experience. All staff, especially Hamza who booked the whole thing, were great, and knowledgeable. The tour itself was a true adventure
The meticulous organization, comfort, and wealth of information provided made it a truly memorable journey. The driver's professionalism and friendliness, coupled with the air-conditioned car equipped with WiFi, ensured a smooth and enjoyable ride. The scenic stops at Ifrane, Azrou, Midelt, and Erfoud added layers of fascination to the overall experience. The pinnacle of the tour, undoubtedly, was the luxury camp nestled in the Merzouga desert. The private tent, delectable dinner, and the lively night of music and dance created an atmosphere of pure delight. The camel ride, allowing us to witness both the sunset and sunrise against the mesmerizing sand dunes, added a touch of magic to the adventure. I cannot recommend this tour enough for those seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Morocco. Bek Ben Travel played a pivotal role in crafting an unforgettable journey, and for that, I extend my sincere gratitude.
To begin my review with “ the number one experience” my wife and I have had on a guided tour after 15 countries would to be an understatement! Hamza, bekben travel, is not only the best host i’ve ever experienced but equally energetic, clear, communicative in English and many languages while having the warmest heart and dearest sense of humor. My wife and I did a private tour from Fes to Marakesh by way of Merzouga in the Moroccan Sahara. We could have easily spent more than 3 night and 4 days on this journey because it was just so special! ( Every person Hamza introduced us to was genuine, kind, and filled with a desire to share their special piece of Moroccan heritage, skill, and knowledge. I’m not exaggerating when i say that the days spent from Fes to Marakesh were some of the best times of our lives! Hamza takes care of all the details- he introduces you to artisan’s along the way, and also gives plenty of time for self discovery. He’s an incredible driver and very timely (we were late a lot… shkran Hamza) Each night well felt safe and sound and sorted (you’ll need to present passports at all hotels) and the whole day you are giving royal treatment and a ton of options to experience pottery, history, geography, buggy drives in the Sahara, nights under the stars after camel rides, musical encounters, special foods, and the craftsmen ship and hospitality of the Moroccan Arabic and Berber way of life. When i was welcomed at the airport by Hamza his friendliness and charm was so easy to get along with and a long car ride from the airport to Fes was a chance to get to know one another. After that- we scheduled a private excursion that was so priceless. If i could give 6 stars out of 5 or 11 out of 10 i would give ten times that. You will rest easy and experience days of special experiences when you put your trust in Hamza’s hands! His brother is equally as capable and we were able to understand Hamza, his agency bekben travel, and his family and friends as genuine and welcoming knowledgeable ambassadors to a land i hope to visit again and again!
Ever since I was a little boy, I have dreamed of seeing the Sahara. Not only did I see it, but I rode a camel over the dunes, listened to traditional Berber music played live by the campfire and watched the most beautiful sunrise over Erg Chebbi. The tour operator, Ali, made sure everything was perfect. He contacted us as soon as we booked and kept us updated as the trip approached. He really went above and beyond and made us feel like family. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate! Book with Ali! You will have the time of your life!
Great trip. Good mini bus with air conditioning and a great driver, Mr. Youssef. Perfect camel ride with sunset watching and an excellent bivouac with good dinner and berbere music around the fire. Our guide, Omar, was excellent. Funny and very helpful, we could rely on him for anything we needed. This is a trip we will remember forever. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience in the Sahara! Everything perfect from the beginning to the end. Ali the driver from Fes to Sahara is super friendly and does everything to make you feel comfortable in the trip. The facilities in the camp are great. Very comfortable suite and the food is amazing. The people who work there are super nice. Riding a camel, watching the sunset and sunrise, dinner with people from all over the world and live music are the highlights of the trip. An unforgettable moment that I highly recommend to anyone who loves adventure. I hope to return soon.
Great trip to the desert, with a friendly guide hamza who made sure we were confortable in Fes and all the way to the desert. Riding a camel in the desert and staying in a camp is a once in a lifetime experience. Definitely worth trying! Seme went the extra mile to get us to Fez the next day as we only had a few hours before we had to rush to the airport. Thank you for making our trip to Morocco so amazing! We will be back.
I highly recommend this trip to the desert. Sharing riddles with our Berber hosts around the fire and riding camels in the dunes are just some of the unforgettable experiences included in this trip. The desert night sky would be worth it! Not only was the destination impressive, but there were plenty of things to keep you entertained along the way, including incredible scenery and cheeky monkeys in the forest. Not to mention the excellent service of Mr. Slaoui, our guide and driver, who was so kind and helpful, he contributed a lot to having such a great day.
This trip was incredible! The drive to the desert was very long, but we made lots of stops to see cool places and even got to feed monkeys. The camel ride and sandboarding was so much fun and the sunset was beautiful. Ali was a charming host. Very friendly and responsive if we had any questions or concerns. We all had dinner together, watched the stars and danced around the fire to traditional Moroccan music at the end of the night. We couldn't have asked for a better trip, thank you Ali!
The desert in Merzouga impressed me. It was like the description of the fantastic desert in novels and movies, huge sand dunes, oasis and palm trees, camels, charming and friendly inhabitants, it's a city that deserves to be visited for more than a week. Mr. Youssef, our driver and guide, helped us try everything. I took a walk in the desert and rode a quad bike up the giant dunes, feeling like I was riding a giant wave in the ocean. After a lively evening I decided to sleep under the stars, a night I'll never forget.
what a great trip i had, i had a lot of fun in this nature that i saw for the first time, in fact i made sure that the trip would go well as soon as we left fés, the car was comfortable, equipped with water and other supplies, the driver who guided us, mr. slaoui, was professional, kind and funny, at our first stop in ifran, mr. slaoui explained and gave us information about the city and its sites, then he asked us what kind of activities and places we wanted to visit to make the most of the trip. We skied on the snowy mountains, screwed in the forest and I took the opportunity to take pictures to keep this beautiful memory. When we arrived in Mezouga, I was relieved by the sight of the desert dunes, with their orange color, which made me want to walk on them, and again this time on top of these dunes, I tried to ride a camel, a good experience that coincided with the sunset. The evening was even better, I sat in the camp around the fire to relax, under a sky decorated with many bright stars, and I traveled in a world of pleasure with soft music. For me, the trip was great, the cities were well chosen and the service impressed me.
My trip to Merzouga came after a difficult period in my emotional life, I needed to see a distance without limits and to feel out of modern and human influences, I needed time alone. I decided to go on this trip after some hesitation, but I thought, what's the worst that can happen, be brave and go for it! Fortunately, I traveled with Bekben Travels, which has a good professional service and met my expectations, these two days were well planned on their part, in addition, the service of the driver and guide Mr. Hamza was satisfactory, he is someone kind and helpful and honest, which facilitates my confidence. The two days were excellent, starting our tour with a departure from Fes in a clean air-conditioned car, a nice small group also looking to relax and have fun, Mr. Hamza managed our relations well and broke the ice between us, becoming friends on our arrival in Ifran. Our stopover in Ifran was magnificent, this city, whose architecture reminds me of the villas of Suise, contains beautiful forests and mountains and a cool climate. Merzouga was the destination we had been waiting for, on our arrival a panoramic view of giant sand dunes that were a pleasure to climb up and down on skis, and this is what Mr. Hamza did at our request; we climbed the Chamaux and spent a lovely evening together singing and dancing like a little family we had become after this experience.
I've always been attracted to the desert, although I've never been there, I've only ever seen desert scenes in movies and I've always wanted to go there. and finally this visit came true, i took the initiative with my friends to go on a trip to merzouga, the trip was well organised, the driver came on time, with a beautiful well equipped car, he took us first on a very beautiful visit to the city of ifran and azrou, its mountainous and clean city with a panoramic view of nature, and pointed roofs that look like the cities of switzerland. we arrived in merzouga after a fun ride with mr hamza, who has become more of a friend than a guide or driver, he is a kind and trustworthy man and we felt comfortable in his presence. he accompanied us for a ride on the back of the camels and then we settled into our beautiful and well equipped camp. we had a lot of fun that evening in the desert night, and the next day i relaxed by watching the sunrise in the morning. it was a great experience and i hope that you will enjoy it too.
Life is a mystery, made up of many elements, and for me I thought that earning more and being more successful would bring more happiness. I felt great happiness and joy in this vast desert, and I enjoyed dancing to the rhythm of the music in the evenings around the fire and under the starry sky, walking on the dunes of the desert removed from my mind what was not necessary, and dancing to the music in the evenings around the fire and under the starry sky. Watching the sun rise the next morning gave me a sense of gratitude for a new day, a new change and a new life. Mr Hamza, our guide and driver, was kind, cultured and funny, someone you could count on and he served us well.
let me tell you about my experience of this trip, there were times when I wondered if it was a dream, visiting ifran and azrou in the morning in an environment of nature, snow-covered mountains, forests and monkeys, towards mazrouga a world of desert and CAMELS, a beautiful experience with an intense emotion of spiritual pleasure, I enjoyed every minute of it, even on the road, thanks to Mr Hamza, our driver and guide, who never stopped creating a beautiful atmosphere with his communication and jokes, and sometimes playing beautiful music that we danced to together. Merzouga was a good description of the desert, it contains beautiful giant sand dunes, oases and great camps and visitors everywhere, a town well secured, thanks to the very great respectful character of the people, I loved the time spent in these two days.
In my opinion, the trip was well organised, we passed through the city of Ifran, a charming diamond of the Atlas, which contains a variety of natural riches, after the cities of Azrou and Midlte, which were even more attractive. we arrived in merzouga, the gateway to the desert, still an impressive natural setting, but in a different sense, with sand dunes and oasis, simple architecture, but in truth lacking nothing in terms of its level of beauty or the comfort of its camps, on the contrary, everyone was satisfied and happy with the environment, the different activities and the beautiful desert evenings, Mr Youssef served us well, with good advice and guidance, he's an honest and professional man, and someone everyone can count on.
A trip that begins with a stop in Ifran city , nicknamed "the little Moroccan Switzerland" because of its chalets with pointed roofs and its beautiful design in general. I'll never forget this town, which is surrounded by vast forests of cedars and holm oaks. A visit to Azrou is well worth the diversions, much more for its peaceful atmosphere, its freshness and the typical architecture of its inhabitants, where wood is omnipresent, than for its monuments. Mr Hamza, who is our driver and guide at the same time, made us really enjoy every moment of these guided visits and helped us discover some magnificent scenery. The next city was Merzouga which is known for its immense dunes, we can't even find the words to describe this to you, truly unique views and at the end of the day the most beautiful sunset we have ever witnessed.
I chose this trip to test myself and my wife as a newly married couple, which was a real adventure for us as it was our first visit to Morocco. What impressed me most was the service provided by MRALI, who treated us with great respect and served us well, trying to give us the best trip of our lives. And that's what we got, the city of Ifran was a city with a more European, Swiss style than Moroccan, with a rich natural content, forests and lakes, traces of snow on the mountains, a romantic city. In Merzouga, we had a great time, riding camels and skiing on the gigantic sand dunes, a wonderful evening of music by the fire and under the stars, we spent two wonderful romantic days and had a lot of fun.
We took the road to Merzouga after visiting Ifran and Azrou, two towns close by and different in monuments, with a common point of nature and climate, snow-capped mountains, fresh air and magnificent forests that need days to discover. Ifran monument was more modern, the lion statue, ski resorts and others, as for Azrou, it seems a village more encian, which contains monuments that return to the prehistoric age, we had fun in their environment white and green, and cold climate. We continued on the road to Merzouga, once arrived, a magnificent view of giant sand dunes, a perfect desert, oiasis that cut the distance from the desert, with palm trees and offer an extraordinary view. The activities and evenings in the desert made me feel very free, as if I were in a world without responsibility or fear, a world of sacredness and primordial joy. I would like to thank our driver and guide, Mr Slaoui, he did everything to satisfy us, with his excellent service and his respectful and cool character, a real professional guide that we loved.
my decision to go on this trip was spontaneous, i set off alone in a small group from fes to ifran, i had already visited this magnificent city, it deserves the name of the little sultanate of morocco, then i stopped at azrou, a beautiful town surrounded by forest and monuments, i visited a cave containing traces and drawings from prehistoric times. We arrived in Merzouga just before sunset and settled into a well equipped, clean camp with good service and staff. Mr Youssef, our guide and driver, was friendly and helped to develop the knowledge and atmosphere in the group, which added to the fun of evenings in the desert or skiing in the dunes.
it was a magnificent day, we headed for Azrou , which was just as magical, a town bordered by superb green mountains that give it a special charm, in addition to its wealth of biodiversity symbolized by the famous cedar grove, the Barbary monkeys and the marvellous, unique butterflies... As soon as we arrived in Merzouga, the landscape changed, the ground became drier and drier and the sand began to appear! It was like something out of a film, fantastic... not to mention the huge dunes, we can't even find the words to describe it to you. Visiting this town was well worth it, a unique view and the most beautiful sunset we've ever seen. . Our driver and guide, Mr. Ali, was extremely friendly and provided perfect service, listening to our needs throughout our stay. A truly memorable and unforgettable two days.
one of the lessons i learnt during the trip to merzouga, was the influence of simplicity on human life, when we arrived after a long journey from fes to ifran, which prepared us for an experience of the opposite extreme, because of its mountainous and forested nature, the sight of the dunes at merzouga influenced my soul, the evening in front of the fire and under the sky crowned with brilliant stars made me travel very deep into my being, these two days were great, and the service of Mr Youssef our driver was exellent, by his advice, communication, and listening, the equipment of the car until the camp was perfect, if I have to recommend a trip, it will be this one with bekben travels.
I was convinced that the desert represents the wandering nature of man, a simple rhythm, calm and serene without complications, which gave me a different understanding of its dimensions, I loved the activities on the sand, riding the camel and keeping my balance while standing, skiing on the giant sand dune and watching the sunrise without visual obstacle, all these elements and more offered me two unforgettable days in Morocco. Not to mention our first stop in Ifran, this magnificent town surrounded by mountains, it's like a small Swiss village that has settled in Morocco, and the service of our guide and driver, Mr Ali, who was attentive and helped us on several occasions, he is kind and helpful, thank you for your service.
The trip started from Fes, with a comfortable and air-conditioned car, Mr Hamza our driver was funny and nice, had a lot of fun on the road, arrived in Ifran, took a break to discover this beautiful mountain town surrounded by forest, extraordinary views, but the best will come later; And on to Merzouga, frankly, Mr Hamza was a very good man, professional, and served us well. It was my first experience of the desert, Merzouga is a village that contains a magnificent nature, desert character, sand and dunes, palm gardens...; we spent a pleasant and warm evening around the fire with the music of the traditional band, a moment that made me travel in my soul and meditate.
the journey and the services were good, the two days were an opportunity to discover the natural wealth of morocco, our first stop in ifran opened my appetite to live the rest of the journey with my heart, its mountains covered with snow and forest, a city that leaves a feeling of curiosity to know more, This need was satisfied when we arrived in Merzouga, the world of the desert plunged me into a dream of simplicity, trust and joy, the sight of the gigantic sand dunes, the many coloured and shining stars at night, with the sense of calm and peace that surrounds the camp, I rested well and refreshed my soul. The service of our driver and guide Mr Ali was professional, he was with us all the time we needed him, he advised us and served us well.
I've travelled a lot, but I'd never thought that the desert could offer such great joy and peace that touches the soul and the heart, until the day of the trip to Merzouga, an experience of another dimension, far from the ritual of holiday travel... We started our journey from Fez, passing through Ifran; I've visited this beautiful city before, but every time I enjoy it more, looking at its mountains and discovering its forests, playing with the monkeys who are looking for tourists and visitors to give them something to eat. our arrival in merzouga was like a total change of climate, culture and nature, it's a beautiful village and the locals are charming, the camps are well designed in a simple traditional way and contain modern comforts. we skied the dunes, climbed the chamaux and enjoyed the desert thanks to the advice of mr ali, our guide and driver, who did everything for our comfort and to satisfy our needs, i recommend this trip.
To tell the truth, I was reluctant to go to Merzouga at first, it was just to please my friends, fortunately I did it and I don't regret it, the point that really touched me was the evening in the desert, around the fire listening to soft traditional music, under a sky full of stars and in a traditional camp, It was a deep spiritual discovery, it was as if I was communicating with the place, and seeing the giant sand dunes the next morning and climbing to their top to watch the sunrise, all these experiences and others made me understand that there are other very beautiful places in this world, you just have to discover them. I'd also like to thank Mr Hamza, our guide. He served us well, made us feel safe and comfortable, and above all we loved his presence around us, always adding something extra to make everything even better.
Before taking part in this trip, I wanted to visit a place where I could relax and stretch my eyes to the limit, as an escape from the stress of work and the scandal of the big cities, which is why I chose to go to Merzouga. Our departure was from Fez, passing through Ifran, we stopped in this unique town, surrounded by mountains, forests and lakes, which gave me a view that left me with a feeling of peace between its clean streets and pointed canvas houses. We continued our journey to Merzouga in a comfortable car, Mr Hamza, our guide and driver, entertained us with his good communication and took care to set the mood with beautiful music and sometimes jokes and stories, so that we did not feel the time passed until we arrived. Merzouga was exactly what I was looking for, a desert with huge sand dunes, just the peace and embrace of the desert either in the activities or the lovely evening entertainment under the stars, I was glad to have found what I was looking for and I hope my experience helps you to find it too.
We left Fes on time, with a well-equipped and air-conditioned car, stopping in Ifran, a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, green nature, different architectural styles that resemble the Swiss style. We continued the journey to Merzouga, on arrival I was surprised by the panoramic view of the desert dunes, oranges and made me feel a softness and calm, I wanted to go on, and it came true, even more I rode the chamau, and ski down the dunes, it was really fun. I spent an unforgettable evening in a traditional camp decorated in the style of the desert, listening to music, drinking tea and having fun under the clear, numerous and brilliant stars. Thank you to Mr Hamza, our driver and guide, who gave us a wonderful service, he became a close friend, he is someone trustworthy, professional and kind.
Ifrane is a picturesque mountain town full of lush green forests, crystal clear lakes and snow-capped peaks, making it the ideal destination for an unforgettable family holiday. From hiking and cycling to horse riding and camping. Our journey continued in a luxury air-conditioned car with a talented driver and guide, Mr Hamza, who told us many stories, communicated well and served us well. Arriving in Merzouga, the first thing we noticed were the huge orange sand dunes surrounding the town. We settled into a beautiful traditional camp and the adventure began, I climbed the dunes, rode the camels and spent a wonderful evening with music, tea under the stars and an excellent tajine dinner. The next day I woke up in time to see the sunrise, I climbed to the top of the dune, it was a very spiritual and emotional moment. I advise and recommend this trip, you will spend two wonderful days.
After my trip to Merzouga, I feel obliged to give my opinion, not only to thank bekben travels for their services, but also to help other travellers who are looking for a beautiful destination and good service. Ifrane was our first visit, Ifrane is a beautiful village south of Fez. Clean and pleasant, Ifrane has parks, lakes and alpine-style houses, hence the nickname "Moroccan Switzerland". What makes the Ifrane national park so special is the diversity of its landscapes: mountains, valleys and springs. Not to mention the presence of numerous caves, such as Ifri Ouberid, and even prehistoric remains. The site also boasts a ski resort, at Michlifen, equipped to accommodate skiers. For travellers who want to experience nomadic life in Morocco, an overnight stay in the Sahara is a must. I ate a delicious dinner in the desert, travelled by camel from Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes, to camp, ate dinner around a campfire to the sound of drums and slept in tents under the bright stars. The next morning we were up in time to see the sunrise, it was a panoramic and exceptional view. Our driver and guide Mr Ali was kind and helpful, we felt safe with him, he tried throughout the trip to offer us the most beautiful moments and to make us avoid any kind of scam, I thank him very much.
