I think we got super lucky with our guide, Fuad (Douzi). He does his work like he loves it and he’s super friendly well educated and held an incredible atmosphere throughout the whole trip. It’s a big W for the company to have guys like this. Thank you! 👍
The desert experience was wonderful, with delicious food included and great accommodation. These were definitely the highlights of the trip! One area for improvement would be the guiding experience. Our guide was friendly and gave us very useful tips, but he was also quite quiet and tended to give very brief answers to our questions, so we would have appreciated more explanations and stories about the sights we visited. Also, the lunch stops were at quite expensive tourist-oriented restaurants with poor Google reviews.
The experience overall was good but it could’ve been great. The camel walk was long and pleasing but the sandboarding we could only do one time. Not enough time for photos, I felt like I couldn’t fully enjoy the view. The food at the camp was actually good. The show was pretty bad, it didn’t last long. And the road with the car to the desert was very pretty but I wish we could’ve got more information from our guide. We were the ones asking questions. I don’t regret going but I wish it was a little better.
Amazing trip when you are in Marokko! Ali is the best driver and a very good English speaking guide. Would definitely recommend!
Desert trip and desert camp were really nice Hotel was a nice kasbah with a pool The lunch stops were not that good
The expirence was great for the price. Ali was a great driver and very amicable. Some things were extra such as tips and lunch but this was expected.
Fez to Marrakech tour was very fun. Our guide Ibrahim especially made it a fun time.
It was very interesting! Thanks for this experience
Omar was the best driver and guide ever. He always paid attention to our needs, asked us if we are ok and happy. Most of the roads were closed when we came back from the desert because of the rivers and he coordinated all the drivers and made sure that everybody got home safe. I truly recommend booking this trip.
We loved this trip! Noor & Jafar from Marrakech City Life tour company took awesome care of us. They picked us up early from our airbnb in Fez. The van had 18 passengers plus 2 drivers - it was comfortable and had AC and ports for charging. Jafar was an absolute boss driver - both in the city and in the mountains. Noor was our tour guide and 'habibi'. He made sure all of our questions were answered and kept us smiling. On average we stopped every 1.5 hours to take a picture or use the toilets or eat/drink. This was a good pace for van-traveling and also the governemnt has mandatory rest-time regulations for tour vans/buses. We arrived at our camels 🐫 close to 5pm and rode them into the desert for sunset to a spot for sand-surfing and then on to our destination camp which we reached after dark. You definitely will need a scarf for this trip - not only does it look good in pics but the winds can be very strong and the scarf helps cover your face and eyes. The accommodations and facilities at the Standard Camp are rustic but good enough to keep you warm and fed. The quad ATV bikes through the desert was so worth it - definitely a must do! The next day we drove through the Atlas Mountains with stops at different towns and sites and Berber Cooperatives. We stayed in Rose City for the night and traveled the next day to Aït Benhaddou which did not disappoint. Nice, easy hike to the top with our knowledgeable guide Mohammed. Then a few hours more traveling on winding mountain roads until we reached Marrakesh and they kindly dropped us off at our airbnb. Just a note to pay attention to your itinerary - there were small details we missed and surprised us (eg. you arrive by camel to your desert camp and leave either by quad ATV (extra cost) or camel only). Lunches arent included but you will stop at places along the way for lunch - mostly buffets - and these cost money (around 110-120pp). If you dont want to eat this lunch there - are usually spots near to buy snacks. We loved our tour guide - thank you again Noor for everything! Habibi!!
Don’t miss this if you’re coming to Morocco! The bus rides are long but they make plenty of stops to make it comfortable and it gives you time to get to know your fellow travelers. The Sahara is so stunning, whether you see it on camels or by ATV or both! I recommend trying both for the full experience. There will be some early mornings but don’t let that deter you. If you’re okay with basic tent life and shared bathrooms/showers then book the standard tents. If you require a better bed and a private bathroom then maybe consider spending the extra money for the luxury tents for your overnight in the desert. Both have dinner and dancing in the evening. A shout out to our driver Jaffar - he is a pro driver and safely navigated winding mountains roads as well as narrow city streets for our drop offs at the end. We felt very safe in his hands. And a special shout out to our guide Nour - thank you for sticking with us for all three days despite dealing with sad news from home. We really appreciated your presence during our journey. Lots of knowledge and laughs!
We had a great experience on this trip. Our guide Mehdi was supe helpful and funny. Kept the group spirit high. We enjoyed our time with him
Fabulous experience. Mouzaga desert and luxury tents outstanding. Yaseen our guide friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver, we felt very safe. The hotel for the 2nd night disappointing. Hotel room was basic but comfortable. The restaurant was dismal, the food pretty poor. No vegetarian choice, one bottle of water between 7 persons. No option to purchase any soft Drinks. At the end of our meal we were rushed off the table at 8.30pm so it could be relaid for breakfast. No evening atmosphere..such a shame and a let down.
Chaima and Hamza were amazing tour guide and driver. I always felt very safe with Hamza's driving, on the windy and fast roads. Chaima was a lovely person to be around and lead our tour. She was efficient and a great time manager. The accommodation was great, the luxury Sahara desert camp was nice but be ready for very early starts to see the sunsets and sunrises. The only negatives I have is in relation to the lunches, which we paid for, except for the last stop on the way to Marrakesh, the lunches were expensive and substandard. I also wish we had more information about the camels, their owners and lifestyle...it was very rushed to get us on the camels and up the dunes to see the sunset. Tour guides were awesome.
Be aware that the majority of the time is spent on the bus in transit. When we stopped it was often where someone tried to sell us something or a short tour that was an additional cost. Our guide gave minimal commentary on the bus so we had no idea about what we were driving by. I booked as a solo traveller but knew a few people on the tour. I was made to sleep in a double room with a non family member. I complained but was told there were no other options even though I was traveling solo. No refund given. Riding a camel into the Sahara was nice and seeing the stars was great!
Long 3 days in a van. I was a purchased single traveler for the trip. Second night had to share room with 3 other people in hotel. Sahara Dunes was great experience with camel ride. Guide was pleasant. Viator did a poor job of handling hotel room issue. Had I been female, the hotel room issue would have been critical.
The guides were fantastic.Be prepared for a lot of van time. I went with a group of 5 and once the tour operated realized we knew each other , they tried to shove all 5 people in 1 room even though all 4 booked Individually. The worst part is how Viator handled a complaint, all evidence of me purchasing the tour was erased from my Viator account. I’ve been on the computer several hours to get Viator to admit I was even on the tour. So I give the tour a 4 Viator a 1
We had a great experience with Ali as our tour guide in Morocco. He picked us up exactly where we wanted, was punctual and very helpful throughout the trip. He is a very good and careful driver, which made the journey comfortable and stress-free. He also explained everything clearly whenever we asked questions and was happy to share his knowledge. Overall, Ali was friendly, reliable and professional. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great guide!
Amazing driver eplained everything and drove perfectly and always on time
Ali is an amazing guide very experienced safe and welcoming. Would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to go to Morocco
The tour was very rich and full of beautiful experiences. We discovered amazing places, enjoyed breathtaking landscapes and had the chance to experience the local culture. Everything was well organized and made the trip truly memorable.
Been trying to contact them for 10 days by phone email and WhatsApp no reply to anything and they have sent wrong pick up location 1 hour walk from where we stay. Pick up is meant to be near where you stay and we have confirmed over and over correct hotel. Communication is non existent we have paid a lot of money for trip tomorrow and no pick up!
The Sahara desert trip from Fez to Marrakech trip was amazing. Our guide Nour was very friendly and very accommodating and driver was great! The bus was a little cramped and warm with the full 15 people on board, but thankfully the air-conditioning was nice and cold! The knowledge and experience shared during the trip were very valuable and the local guides very friendly too! The standout was definitely the camel ride into the Saraha and sand boarding. Thank you Nour, we had a great time. Liam and Annabelle
Great value for the money. Abdul was a great driver and guide, and even helped me get my bracelet back which I forgot in the hotel on the second night!
Lovely experience, our guide Abdul was amazing. Recommend it everyone
Habdoul was magical guide that stopped at good places to visit during 3days between fess and marrakech. Great experience!
Super nice experience, beautiful places and people! The sunrise in the desert was amazing!
Ibrahim did a great job as guide/driver. In total the tour is super organised but also a lot. Keep in mind you’re siting a lot in the car and have to wake up early. The only thing I noticed is that the pricing for the tour is very flexible. Compared to the other participants, we overpaid. Just do your research right and don't overpay.
Ibrahim was a very lovely funny guide. Very down to earth! Explained everything and brought the vibes on the long busrides. The trips was very good and I liked the quadride in the desert. Marrocco is a beautiful country and very recomendable. The people are very hospitable!
Ibrahim was a very nice guide, he let us use his phone to choose songs to play in the bus, was in for a joke and was very open in answering questions. The drive was comfortable, also because of the ac, which is great since you’re driving quite a lot during the 3 days, and there were regular bathroom breaks. Accommodation was good. The desert camp was a fun experience, though we were glad for the great room with private bathroom for the 2nd night to catch up on some sleep (breakfast in the desert was at 4:30). Activities were interesting, though the guided tours were a bit short and you didn’t have much time to visit shops in the villages or walk around on your own unfortunately. We definitely recommend doing the quad ride in the desert in the morning, it’s not included in the booking (€50 per quad might be a bit expensive, but it can fit 2 persons and you can change drivers during stops), but it’s a fun experience and we thought it was worthwhile. The only real downside was lunch, since that’s not included in the total price. The bus stops at a certain restaurant to eat (around 110/120 dirham per person), which is fine, but there is not really an option to go buy your own lunch if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant. All in all: a nice experience if you want to see a bit of Morocco in a short time. A tip: take enough cash with you, since you can not pay by card, not even in the restaurants for lunch.
This was truly an amazing experience. My wife and I couldn’t stop talking about how grateful we were for booking this tour. It was hands down the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Each day flew by because it was packed with so many fun activities and sights to see. Merzouga especially stood out as we got to go to the Sahara Desert to camel trek, sand board, and spend a starry night at a desert camp. We decided to quad bike which was extra, but well worth it because we got to ride up to a dune to witness a breathtaking sunrise. The luxury upgrade was also worth it since it included a private bathroom and A/C. We met some great people from around the world and were brought together by our incredible tour guide Moha Zawit. Moha was an excellent and clear communicator who brought the entire trip to life by making us feel comfortable and safe. He brought so much energy, fun, and positive vibes to our tour. There’s a lot of driving on the tour, but Moha made the time in the car fly by thanks to his enthusiasm and charisma. Our driver, Amadou was also a lot of fun and did an excellent job of keeping us on schedule and driving us around safely and efficiently. Like I said there’s a lot of driving, so if not for Amadou the tour would not be as successful as it was. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy what they do and naturally have fun doing it, which made the experience so wholesome, light, and fun for the entire group. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone thinking about a trip to Morocco. This is an absolute must do and once you book cross your fingers that you get Moha and Amadou as your driver/tour guide combo!
Great experience, worth the money, we went with Amoudo and Moha Zawit, they were amazing. Recommend 100%
WOW. buckle up this review is going to be a long and amazing one. First Imad our guide was beyond phenomenal and truly made the whole experience. His patience and love for what he does truly stands out throughout the entire 3 day trip. From pick up to stops for breaks he never rushed us and always gave us the opportunity to stop for photos. The information he gave us and all the perfectly planned lunches, dinners and tour stops were incredible. The restaurants that were chosen for us never gave us a bad meal, everything was authentic and so delicious! Never once did we pay too much or get sick which is always the best especially when traveling for so long. What stood out the most were the tours we did off the van with local guides that were dedicated to our group and really immersed us in the rich history/ culture that Morocco has to offer. The Berber home/ rug tour was my favorite part, it hit a special place in my heart that i would have never experienced if it wasn’t for Imad. We never felt pressured to buy anything or add on extras but had the opportunity if we chose. The Camel rides for sunset and sunrise were phenomenal, the camels were well loved and taken good care of. The guides for the camel rides were friendly, took our photos, made us laugh! I highly recommend to upgrade to the Luxury Tents, it is well worth the money! The van was very comfortable, obviously be prepared for the heat but again Imad made sure to make us comfortable with the AC and with plenty of stops. I would 100% do this tour again and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IMAD as your guide and this specific tour. Thank you again Imad for truly the best honeymoon we could have imagined.
Imad our guide / driver took such great care of us over the 3 days A couple of long drives getting to and from the Merzouga but the with the restaurant
Fantastic experience with Imad!!! He took wonderful care of us throughout our 3 days with him. Plenty of stops for food/drinks/bathrooms, updates & information provided along the way. One of the best tours I have ever done! Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks Imad :)
Awesome experience!!!! Very friendly people. I miss my camel
Was great fun, definitely recommend to do the arc’s.
Abdul is the best guide ever, we had great time on the desert tour
An unforgettable journey through the most authentic landscapes of Morocco. Our trip started in Fez, from where we set off toward the breathtaking desert of Merzouga. Reaching the camp was a highlight in itself: an exhilarating quad bike ride through the golden dunes at sunset brought us directly to our tents for the night, surrounded by a magical atmosphere and an unforgettable starry sky. The following day, the adventure continued into the magnificent gorges, where we had the chance to explore traditional Berber villages and experience the incredible local culture and hospitality. A special thanks goes to our guide, Hanan, who was exceptionally kind, warm, and always helpful throughout the entire journey. Her attentive care made the experience even more memorable.
The experience was less than ideal. The drive from Fes was extremely long, approx 10 hours. The basic tents have no way of cooling so they are at least 45 degrees inside at night. We slept outside due to this. One of the camels fell down from exhaustion while walking and refused to get up while wailing on the ground, very distressing for us so we walked the rest of the way to camp. The whole experience seemed very disorganized, during the desert part we didn’t know our guides name at all and it was almost impossible to find him to ask questions after dinner. The next day, we had to search for our driver because nobody told us which bus we were going in, he was great but the air conditioning was broken inside his van and the back window did not work which was borderline hell for two 10 hour drives in +41 degree heat. These experiences made it an extremely difficult trip and was not worth the $300+ canadian dollars per person. I am sad our experience was like this but happy that it is over.
Well organised tour, everything is clear since the begining and they pick you up in your hotel. What I like the most : Punctuality The guides were really nice and friendly Dinners were good (mostly Moroccan options) Points that were no so good: The airco in the van is not uniform so if you are in the back you will be hot The van is small and seats are not so comfortable. Taking into account that you spend so many hours traveling in the van, it may get uncomfortable. Lunches cost around 120 dh without drinks and you don't get to choose the place
Had an excellent time on our Morocco desert trip with Khaled. He was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout the trip, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He was also a very safe and careful driver, which made the long journeys much more relaxing, especially on some of the more challenging roads. The tour covered a very nice range of scenery, from the mountains and valleys to the desert, and we had a good amount of time actually enjoying the desert rather than just passing through it. The hotel was great too, especially having a pool to relax in after the long day of travelling. Khaled made the whole trip really enjoyable and was always happy to stop, answer questions and help out whenever needed. Would definitely recommend Khaled and Morocco Trip to anyone looking to explore the desert - great guide, great experience and a really memorable trip!
This was a relaxing and overwelving experience. In the early morning we stepped into an airconditioned van with great seating and even better music. Hamza was a save and comfortable driver, driving us through the most beautiful landscapes of Morocco. Meanwhile Rachid gave us clear information of our skedule and the views. We had two guidend tours, food, a hotel wil a pool and ofcourse a sunset and sunrise in the sandunes. Afterwards we got dropped of at our hotel to continue our trip. An unfortgetteble experience! Thank you Rachid and Hamza!
It was good and our experiences were really fun
it was amazing and Hanan was an awesome guide everyone loved her she was so nice i definitely recommend!
We booked the 3 day dessert tour with Khaled and it was an unforgettable and amazing experience. Khaled was so kind, funny and caring. We couldn’t be more grateful to have had him as our guide. Khaled always made sure we felt good, safe and happy. One of my friends even got a little ill and Khaled went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. He has an incredible and kind soul and was genuinely so kind and funny. We learned so much from him and laughed a lot too. We danced together to berber music and also listened to his amazing playlist! We are so thankful and will cherish this experience for many years to come. He deserves the world and his kindness really made a huge impact on us.
The three-day Sahara Desert tour has been an incredible journey. We had the pleasure of experiencing Moroccan culture through its food, architecture, and local traditions, and we couldn’t have done it without Khaled, our fantastic guide, who went above and beyond for us. A huge thank you to him! Amazing music, amazing company, and an unforgettable experience!
Trip was even better than expected, scenery was amazing, the accommodation was great, everyone very welcome and hospitable, even the long days in the car were fun thanks to our guide Khalet. Five stars, definitely recommend if you get the opportunity
Fantastic guide, Khalet, made the trip very enjoyable. Great experiences. Some unexpected expenses however really good value for money. Lots of driving
