Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable experience on this desert tour! The desert camp was absolutely lovely, with a great atmosphere and clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel on the second night was also very clean and well-prepared. Although it was quite cold up in the mountains, there were plenty of warm blankets to keep us comfortable. Our driver was excellent! He drove so smoothly and carefully that I felt completely safe throughout the journey, even sitting in the front row and watching him drive. Ibrahim was fantastic as well! He was funny, friendly, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. He genuinely cared about everyone and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout the trip. It was definitely a special experience. The only challenging part was the long hours on the road — our bottoms were pretty sore by the end! 😂 Luckily, we had regular stops every hour or two to stretch our legs, which made the journey much more manageable. Thank you to the whole team for making this trip such a memorable experience. We really appreciate all the effort and care that went into it!

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Our 3-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour starts by picking all the travelers from a meeting point in the Medina of Fes.
Our first destination will be Ifrane, also called the Switzerland of Morocco because of its gabled roof houses. We will stop here for a short walk. The city was established by the French administration in 1928 to escape from the heat of the Sahara desert.
After stopping in Ifrane, we will carry on driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop by the road in a Cedar forest, where we may get to see a monkey species native to the Atlas Mountains.
After having lunch in a restaurant somewhere along the way, we will continue our journey to Merzouga. On the way, we will stop for a panoramic view of an Oasis that is full of palm trees.
We will reach the Merzouga desert in the afternoon. Here, you will get to ride camels across huge sand dunes to your luxury desert camp. It will take you about an hour and 40 minutes of camel trekking. On the way, you will stop in a high dune to watch a peaceful sunset over Erg Chebbi dunes. You can also reach the camp by a 4x4 vehicle instead of riding camels (included in the price too!). Once you get to the camp, the staff will show you your private tents. After a delicious dinner, you can enjoy having a seat around a campfire while the staff is playing drums and singing some traditional Berber music. Enjoy watching a starry sky before getting to bed.
Day 2
2
Today, waking up early for the sunrise is highly recommended to watch a glorious sunrise. After having a tasty breakfast in the camp, each one can choose between leaving the camp by camel again or by a 4x4 car. This morning, you can also choose to add another activity, which is quad biking or buggy driving (it is with an additional price). Please let your guide know at night if you are interested.
If today happens to be Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, we will stop in Rissani to experience what a traditional Moroccan souk feels like. The souk is just three days a week. The city is also the foundation of the current ruling family of Morocco!
After exploring the ancient city of Rissani, we will drive to Todra Canyon, which is the deepest canyon in Morocco. It is over 300 meters high cliffs! We will have a walk under this amazing Canyon before driving to our last destination of the day.
We will arrive in Dades Gorges in the afternoon. First, we will drive to see some amazing rock formations known as monkey fingers. Then, drive to a place where there is a panoramic view of the Gorges.
Day 3
3
After having a yummy breakfast at your hotel, we will drive to Ouarzazate passing by Kelaat Mgouna, which is known for roses! If your tour is running during springtime, we will stop in a valley that gets full of roses.
Ouarzazate is nicknamed the Holywood of Africa and the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, we will drive to see the Atlas Studio. It is the largest studio in the world, in terms of land area. Many films and TV series used the service of the studio, including Aladdin, Vikings, and Prison Break. You can take some pictures from outside, then drive to explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. You can also choose to visit the studio from the inside. However, it will take you about an hour and a half, and also there is a ticket that you will have to pay (not included in the price!).
Our guide will escort you to visit this ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou while explaining to you its interesting history. The fortified village is a great example of Moroccan architecture. It was once used as a caravanserai during the caravan routes that were crossing the great Sahara Desert. The Kasbah is featured in many famous films and TV series, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many more.
After exploring the Kasbah, we will drive to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains. We will have some stops along the way for some breathtaking views.
We will reach Marrakech in the late afternoon. Drop you off at the closest point accessible by car to your Hotel/Riad. End of your Fes to Marrakech desert tour.

Absolutely fabulous experience, the pick up was smooth, the breaks were well scheduled, guide and driver find a place to stop if additional breaks required as our group had a 4 year old. Camel ride to the desert was absolutely breathtaking, we started just before sun started to set and experience all from day to under moonlight. Desert camp was a great experience, there are a lot of camps nearby so you won’t feel in the middle of nowhere but still get the desert experience. We had full moon which made stargazing impossible but it had its charm also. Full moon lights the sky a lot more than you would think so schedule your tour according to the moon if stargazing is a priority for you. I would definitely recommend getting up for the sunrise in the morning. We also done some sand boarding which was real fun. We just sit on a sand dune 2 minutes away from the camp after camp music finished for a while which was one of the best feelings ever. The way back via 4x4 was also a very fun ride. The short stops on the way for viewing gorges, oasises and other views were also amazing, driving through the countryside is an experience by itself but expect a lot of driving, you’ll spend most of the tour in the vehicle. Our second night stay at Dar Ahlam Dades was also very good. Ait Ben Haddou is an amazing old city, definitely worth a visit. The atlas studios was the only passable scheduled stop but I believe it’s a good spot for a toilet break. The food was much better than what you would expect from such a group tour. Our group preferred non-buffet options on first 2 lunches and both were great, Moroccan cusine was more delicious than we anticipated. The food on the camp was average at best and the lunch on third day near Ait Ben Haddou was meh. Both the dinner and breakfast in the hotel at Dades were delicious and the hotel give you Berber clothes to enrich your experience, don’t skip wearing them. Our guide, Brahim, arranged everything very well and made sure we had the best experience. We stayed in Africa Luxury camp. The experience listed quad bike and dune buggy activities in the camp but it turned out that these are alternative transportation back from camp which was a little bit disappointment, we prefer to spend our time in the desert and go back with 4x4. As we travel at the end of October, night wasn’t so cold and we didn’t spend any time in the tent during the day but air conditioners were locked in the room which was concerning since our package indicated a room with air conditioner.
We chose the three-day tour with Morocco Fabulous Travel, departing from Fes and arriving in Marrakech, passing through the desert and several small towns along the way. The highlights were 1. the night we spent in the luxury camp in the middle of the desert and the dromedary ride; 2. the historic Kasbahs—walled citadels where the Berbers used to live—of Aït Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate, dating back to the 11th century, where Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed, as well as the Amridil Kasbah in the Skoura oasis, founded in the 17th century, which, although smaller than the former, allows for a better understanding of how the ancient residents lived, as it maintains the original layout of each room, complete with bedrooms, kitchens, a pantry for food and goods, and stables for animals; 3. the Dades and Todra Gorges, canyons with breathtaking landscapes. We did the tour accompanied by our guide and driver Mohamed Karouiche, who besides being very friendly, was always willing to share his culture and knowledge of the country's history. He made us feel completely at ease to make minor changes to the itinerary, such as stopping on the road to take photos, choosing where we would have lunch, visiting some small village in the middle of nowhere, a Berber market, or a more remote craft shop we wanted to see. He was always attentive to guide us regarding harassment and persistent touts, constant catcalling, unwanted attention, and persistent street vendors or fake helpers. When booking your tour, you should definitely ask if he is available. When planning our trip to Morocco, we were not sure if we should spend three days in the desert or add more cities to our itinerary, but now I can say that no trip to Morocco should skip the desert experience! It was a fantastic experience!
Dear Morocco Fabulous Travel Team, Thank you for following up with us. We had a wonderful and impressive trip and thoroughly enjoyed our desert experience. The route was fantastic, and we were particularly impressed by the excellent hotels in both the Dades Valley and Merzouga, as well as the beautiful desert camp. The accommodation selection was outstanding and contributed greatly to making the journey so memorable. A special thank you goes to Said, who was an excellent driver and guide. He always took great care of us, was attentive to our needs, and made every effort to ensure that we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the journey. We really appreciated his professionalism and friendly attitude. The only small downside was that there was quite a lot of time spent in the car due to the long distances and many kilometres covered. However, the vehicle was very good and comfortable, which made the drives much easier. Overall, it was a memorable and very rewarding journey. We would happily travel with you again and would certainly recommend your services. Thank you again to you and Said for a great experience! Best regards, I & U
Had a great time on the tour! Omar omama was an incredibly kind and informative tour guide. He was really on top of it it with getting to all the sights and giving us information about each of the places. Greatly appreciate the experience :)
We had a wonderful experience with Omar as our tour guide. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the local places and culture. He made the entire tour enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. His hospitality and attention to detail were excellent. Highly recommend Omar to anyone looking for a great tour guide!
We had such an amazing time with Ibrahim on our tour. He was such a great guide making the whole three days super enjoyable! Definitely would recommend
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was wonderful, from the hotels and food to the overall organization and, especially, our guide and driver, Ibrahim. The desert hotel had to be changed at the last minute because the original one wasn’t available, but the alternative turned out to be amazing! The rooms were impeccable, the Wi-Fi and electricity worked perfectly, the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The second hotel was equally impressive. The staff were lovely, the rooms were huge, and the pictures honestly don’t do the place justice. It was even better in person! And a special mention to Ibrahim, who truly made the trip exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. He always took everyone’s preferences into account and made sure the whole group was comfortable and enjoying themselves. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. The accommodations, hospitality, food, and organization were all excellent, and Ibrahim deserves special recognition for his kindness and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Morocco. If you’re lucky enough to have Ibrahim as your guide, you’re in very good hands!
Just finished the 3 day desert tour with our guide, Omar and it was one of the best parts of my trip to Morocco! Morocco Fabulous Travel communicated very clearly before the trip, outlining the costs upfront, required deposit and provided a clear itinerary. Omar is an excellent guide and driver! He was attentive to everyone's needs in our shared tour and was very clear about our itinerary each day. With the long drives between destinations, Omar was very entertaining, kind and engaging. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Morocco
My friend and I had an incredible time on the 3-day Fez to Marrakech desert tour! Despite having some long days on the road, the drives were smooth and comfortable. Omar was our driver and tour guide and was incredibly engaging and flexible. He kept us on-schedule and informed about what was next, and made sure any of our questions were answered and any sights we wanted to see along the tour route were visited. He also called ahead to our riads in Marrakesh to arrange for them to meet us at the drop-off points. He definitely made our experience more fun and enjoyable! Many thanks to Omar and the Morocco Fabulous Travel team! Would definitely recommend!
My wife and I went on this tour mid/late October and completely loved it. The experience was exactly as described in the tour details and to the highest level. The scenery was stunning and diverse. The accommodation, meals and staff in the desert and the mountain stops were all fantastic. We also very much enjoyed the company of the other people on the tour. Our guide, Hasssan of course played a major part, with his perfect mix of local expertise, humour and timeliness and not least of all - his expert smooth safe driving . It was indeed an unforgetable experience.
Obviously a lot of driving but it didn’t feel like that much with the amount of stops and incredible scenery. Both lodging accommodations were beautiful and all the staff were very nice. Ali was a great guide and would highly recommend him!!! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe the entire time.
We joined Morocco Fabulous Travel’s 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide and driver, Omar, did an excellent job from start to finish. Omar is a very good, safe driver, which matters a lot on the long mountain and desert roads. He speaks good English and was always happy to explain things along the way. What impressed us most was how considerate he was. He paid attention to every detail, regularly checked that everyone was comfortable, and always gave us options on when to stop for lunch and bathroom breaks. We were a small group of 7 in a decent-sized minivan, so the long drives were comfortable and never felt crowded. The luxury desert camp was beautiful, a truly memorable night in the Sahara. Thank you, Omar, for taking such good care of us. We would definitely recommend Morocco Fabulous Travel, and especially Omar, to anyone planning a desert trip!
Overall a very good experience. Omar was a 10/10 guide. Very friendly, on time, helpful, and an excellent driver. Exceptional. The accommodation on the second night was not up to standard. The bathroom was extremely small, dirty, and the shower drain was blocked. Food also not great. The tour operator should address this.
A great tour with lots of variety. Hassan was a fantastic guide with lots of great information (and a smashing play list). He was also an excellent driver and we felt very safe and comfortable on the windy roads through the mountains. Hassan went out of his way to make the journey as interesting and fun as possible. The group size was ideal, and we all got on very well. The bus was a very comfortable modern mercedez. The camel ride through the dunes on the first evening was very special, and the tents were very luxurious. We all really enjoyed the hotel in the mountains on the second night. It was chilly that high up and the place was very cosy, with great food. All in all, it was a great was to make the journey from Fez to Marrakech, and I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Omar was the best guide and driver imaginable. Neat, punctual, helpful and an excellent driver. He even phoned our Marrakech riad to arrange a meeting place and assistance with luggage. 10/10 for Omar. Remark for the tour operator: The accommodation on the 2nd night of trip in Dades Valley could be improved. Bathroom extremely inconvenient, not cleaned properly and drain blocked.
I’m letting you know that this tour was the best thing that we did in our time in Morocco and what made it special was we had the best tour guide Said. Not only was he courteous, but he was so respectful. We were three women travelling for the first time in Morocco and he made it so special for us. We felt completely safe with him. I highly recommend this tour and Said. You will not be disappointed.
We had a fabulous time on our three day desert tour with our excellent guide, Hassan. The long days of driving were broken up with well timed and interesting stops. Hassan kept us informed of our itinerary so we knew what to expect all my the way. Our accommodation in the desert and Dades Valley was excellent. Hassan is a careful driver and made us feel very safe. We could not have asked for a better guide to show us this beautiful part of Morocco.
We have 7 days trip in Morocco with driver Mr.Said Benamar. We did enjoyed wonderfully all places because this driver. He made made fun and happiness all places showed with out any hesitate . I never see like this operator of vehicle .
As a group of 4 friends from Greece we choose the shared tour and luckly we were only 7 . We had an exelent communication on WhatsApp from day one with quick replies, , professional detailed feedback (which was not the case with others). Along with the reviews and detailed program, we booked and didn't regret our choice. Everything was well scheduled, with the best accommodations and the nicest safest driver Mustafa!! All these combined with the amazing divers nature and sights , we had a memorable 3d/2n Tour at a value for money price!! We do recommend this tour operator 100% to everybody. Keep on the good work. Greetings. 🇬🇷 😍
Ibrahim yakoubi was fantastic. He seems to have never ending patience and is so kind and knowledgeable. I cannot express how safe o felt while he was driving. He is also a local To the desert so had great knowledge about the local culture. The activities and stops were also amazing.
My sister and I have just done a private 3 day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech with Morocco Fabulous Travel. Everything, from prompt and efficient communication during and after booking, through to the trip itself, showed the absolute professionalism of this company. The trip was a lot of fun, the accommodation both at the desert and in Dades Valley was first rate, and the scenery along the way was stunning. There was a lot of time spent driving but it never felt too much as stops were well timed. However what really made the trip for us was our guide Hassan. He was so kind, calm and friendly as well as being incredibly generous in sharing his knowledge and personal experience of Morocco and the regions we visited. He was also a very careful driver which we definitely appreciated. Finally, he went out of his way after the tour to help us retrieve an item I left at one of the hotels which meant a lot to me. We have no hesitation in recommending Morocco Fabulous Travel for a desert trip and you will be very lucky if your guide is Hassan.
We have just completed a three day trip from Fez to Marrakech with Morocco Fabulous Travel. From our first contact with the company and while organising the trip, Said and Brahim always responded quickly, efficiently and professionally. We were picked up, on time, from our Riad in Fes by Hassan. His driving was excellent and over the three days we never once felt unsafe. There are long distances to cover but it was fascinating to see the variation in terrain across Morocco. The camel ride was an experience. It is not the most comfortable means of transport but seeing the sun set over the sand dunes is an an experience we will always remember. The desert camp, Luxury Camp Chebbi was very comfortable as was the Dar Blues hotel on the second night in the Dades Valley, an amazing, quirky building, with excellent food. Other highlights were the local market we visited, Todra Gorge and Ait Ben Haddou. All the organisation of the three days went very smoothly and we'd like to thank Hassan for his consideration, good humour and for sharing his knowledge of Berber culture and the areas we travelled through. We learnt a lot. Thankyou Morocco Fabulous Travel for a wonderful experience.
Wow. This tour company is fabulous! Our guide was delightful. We enjoyed company and learned so much from him about Moroccan history, current events, and interesting things about all of the places we visited. We laughed so much! He took such good care of us. We always felt safe and supported. The tour that the company has curated is excellent. I would not change a thing. I loved all the stops, restaurants, sites, and experiences. It was a fun adventure! One in a lifetime opportunity!! Note that Moroccans like very firm mattresses. The tour company cannot change that. I recommend bringing a sleeping mat to put on the bed if you need something softer to sleep on.
We really liked the experience. The car was spacious, new and clean. Hassan drove very safely and was also a lot of fun, so we really enjoyed his company. We enjoyed all of the stops, and also the fact that we never felt pressured by Hassan to buy anything. He made us feel very comfortable and also knew some great tricks for taking the best pictures! The desert experience was great. The only thing that could be better was the dinner, as to be honest we both still felt hungry afterwards. The hotel in the valley was also very good: nice view from the window, spacious room and good service. Doing this tour with Morocco Fabulous was the best experience we had in the country so far and we definitely recommend it!
Had a fabulous time during our three-day shared small group (there were seven people in our group) desert tour from Fes to Marrakech! Incredible experience and a great opportunity to be able to earn more about the local cultures and way of living during the tour. Riding a camel to and from Erg Chebbi at sunset/sunrise and seeing handicrafts by local artisans were among the highlights. Our tour guide, Saïd Ou9ji, was super organized and shared a lot of his knowledge and experiences with us - he also introduced us to his hometown of Erfoud when we were going through it. Our driver (and also a very good singer!), Omar, kept us all safe and was an excellent driver bringing us from place to place. Couldn’t ask for a better group to travel with and the tour was certainly a memorable experience! Highly recommend Morocco Fabulous Travel!
We had an amazing experience with Saïd Ou9ji as our tour guide and Omar as our driver. Our highlight was definitely the camel ride, and watching the sunrise in the Sahara! The accommodations were nice and clean and also the food was good. We had a wonderful experience and it was even better than we could have imagened.
Our trip was really amazing. We could count with a quite attentive and helpful service during the selection of this company and between the tours options. We had the best guide possible. Said Benamar was totally dedicated to explain everything and was in the best mood always. We are very happy with our journey.
We had an amazing experience on our three-day Sahara Desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. The scenery was incredible, the itinerary was well organized, and it was a fantastic way to experience the Moroccan desert and countryside. What really made the trip special, though, was our driver and tour guide Zaid. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and kind throughout the entire journey. He always made sure we were comfortable and that everything was going smoothly. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible and attentive he was. Whenever we wanted to stop somewhere, take a photo, or simply take a break, he was happy to accommodate us, even when the stop wasn't originally scheduled. He never made us feel rushed and genuinely wanted us to enjoy the experience. Having someone like him behind the wheel made a huge difference, especially during such a long journey. We felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after from Fes all the way to Marrakech. I would definitely recommend doing this tour with him. If you're planning a Sahara desert trip, I highly recommend booking and asking for him as your driver and guide. He truly helped make the whole experience memorable.
Girsh was an amazing tour guide who took care of everyone, accommodated to our needs and brought so much fun energy, especially when we were tired from the long journey. Overall we loved our tour which was very well organised, the only downfall was the food at lunch stops- we seemed to stop only at overpriced western places where every tour group stopped, it didn’t feel very local.
We booked a 3 day trip and it was fantastic from start to finish. Our guide Ayoud greeted us with a warm and friendly personality that immediately made our group feel comfortable. What stood out the most was their incredible knowledge of local history and culture, shared in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-follow way. Thank you Ayoud the best 👌
Our group of 15 women had an amazing experience with our tour guide Ayoud!! He informed us of the history, of our daily itinerary. We were on time to all our stops, He was very nice and respectful and will recommend this company and especially Ayoud to anyone!!
I had the most memorable time with my 14 girlfriends in the Sahara Desert with Morocco Fabulous Travel. We learned about the history and culture of the Moroccan people and Ayoub spent a lot of time introducing us to the Berber culture. It was an experience we will never forget. Thank you so much Ayoub!!!
They promised a luxury camp and staying and they did delivered , everything was perfect, special thanks to Ayoud who was our tour guide , excellent service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ayoub was an amazing tour guide for our bucket list to the Sahara Desert! He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had the best time! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
We had an awesome three-day tour from Fes to Marrakech. It was definitely a little challenging to fit everything into just three days, but it was absolutely worth it and a great way to experience different parts of Morocco. Our guide, Kirch, was very helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout the trip. He was always happy to answer our questions and make sure our requests were taken into account, which made the experience much more enjoyable and relaxed. The only thing I would point out is that the food at the desert camp was not particularly great. I suppose that’s partly to be expected when staying in such a remote location, though! The drum show in the evening, however, was really enjoyable and created a lovely atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend the tour, especially with Kirch as a guide!
I really enjoyed this tour with our guide Saïd Ou9ji and driver Saïd. At the beginning of the tour, Saïd Ou9ji told our group that we aren’t just a group, we’re a family for the next 3 days. I wish my family treated me like the Saïds did! From the moment we were picked up at the meeting spot to the end when we were transferred to our next accommodation, our guide (who spoke perfect English) was caring, patient, and knowledgable, and always went above and beyond to help when someone on our tour had a question or an issue. And, our driver Saïd did a great job getting us safely from place to place and keeping our valuables safe. This tour was a fantastic way to experience Morocco and learn a lot about the history and the culture. It was way more than I was expecting and I highly recommend it - especially if you’re lucky enough to get the Saïds!
The stunning landscape of the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains is simply breathtaking and so much more than what I had in mind. The highlights of this trip for me: - riding a camel over the golden Sahara sands - so peaceful and awe inspiring 😇 - the magnificent rock faces of the Dades valley - the luxurious desert camp - the curvy terrains of the Atlas Mountains which our friendly driver Said expertly navigated through What really set this tour apart for me and made this one of the best tours I have ever been is our guide SaidOu9ji - he is very knowledgeable, generous with local insights, made us feel like one big happy family, very caring, and funny! 😄. Thank you for sharing the beauty and hidden gems of Morocco with us Saïd… tanemmirt! 😊❤️
I really enjoyed our tour but I think what made the tour exceptional was our driver/guide, Youssef. He provided so much great information throughout the trip, not only about the places we visited, but also about Moroccan culture, traditions, history, and everyday life. What really stood out to me, though, were our conversations. He was incredibly easy to talk to, and I really enjoyed learning about Morocco through his personal experiences and perspective. The conversations we had were honestly one of the most memorable parts of my entire experience in Morocco. He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the journey feel much more personal than just a typical tour. I truly appreciated the time he took to share his culture and answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a guide who can provide both great sightseeing and a genuine cultural experience.
Absolutely fantastic tour from start to finish! Both the driver, Said, and the tour guide, Said Ou9ji were super kind, welcoming, and knowledgable. The Sahara desert was a sublime experience (highly recommend doing the ATVs) and the camp we stayed at was beautiful, especially at night. I travelled with a group of 5 of my friends but Said Ou9ji made all of us, including the other travelers feel like one large family. We played games, solved riddles, listened to music, etc together. Not only do I wholeheartedly recommend this tour, but doing the tour with both Saids, specifically, made what was already a one of a kind trip through various parts of Morocco into an unforgettable experience
- Tour guide & Driver Said Ou9ji was our group’s tour guide and Said was our driver. Said Ou9ji is incredibly knowledgeable and made a point to keep everyone well-informed on all places we visited and traveled past on the way to Marrakech. His English is excellent. Pickup times, spots, and general daily itinerary were communicated clearly and efficiently. Said also made a point to tell us where our money is best spent. - Tour The hotels and restaurants we stayed at were all excellent. Rooms were spacious and had AC. Restaurants had good portion sizes and high-quality food. The camel and ATV rides lasted an hour each and were quite fun and safe. - Summary Overall, this tour is worth more than it costs, especially if your tour guide is as caring and funny as Said!
We had a great time exploring Morocco with our exceptional guide, Mohamed Yakoubi. We got to explore parts of Morocco that would have been difficult for us to access on our own. While the sights were amazing to see, it was the interesting facts about Moroccan history and culture Mohamed shared with us that made our trip so worthwhile. Throughout the trip, he constantly looked out for us and ensured that we felt comfortable and safe. He made sure that we reached our destinations safely and even gave each of us a special little parting gift. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends and family, especially with Mohamed!
This was a very fun and memorable tour. Our guide Mustapha got us everywhere we needed to go safely and on time, answered all of our questions, and guided us around some markets and other historical sights. We also got to take some extra stops along the way for photos. The desert accomodation and camel riding was also very nice. Overall an easy three days to see a lot of Morocco!
We just got back from an amazing 3-day Sahara Desert tour with Morocca Fabulous Travel, and we could not be happier with our experience! We booked our private tour well in advance, and from the very beginning, Morocca Fabulous Travel was wonderful to work with. They kept us informed throughout the planning process and responded very quickly to all of our questions, even with the time-zone difference. Everything was well organized, and we always felt that we were in good hands. Our driver and guide was Said Benamar, and he was truly exceptional. During our two-week trip in Morocco, Said was the best guide we had. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and passionate about sharing his country and culture with us. We learned so much about Morocco during our three days with him. What made the experience especially memorable was how much Said personalized the trip for us. He took the time to understand our interests and tailored the itinerary accordingly. He went far beyond what we expected. He even invited us to his parents' home, where we had the wonderful opportunity to learn more about Berber life and traditions. He also surprised us with experiences we would never have found on our own, including a visit to a traditional Berber farming irrigation system and a cave where nomadic families live. These authentic experiences gave us a much deeper understanding of Moroccan culture and made our trip truly special. Said also knows all the best places for sightseeing, restaurants, and interesting stops along the way. We literally didn't have to worry about anything. We simply told him what we wanted to see and learn about, and he took care of everything. He is also an experienced and careful driver, so we always felt safe and comfortable on the road. Morocco Fabulous Travel put together an excellent package for us. The hotel, desert camp, and vehicle were all excellent, and everything was handled smoothly. Their organization and communication, combined with Said's knowledge and personal attention, made this trip an unforgettable part of our two weeks in Morocco. We strongly recommend Morocco Fabulous Travel and Said Benamar for anyone planning a Sahara Desert adventure. If you want to experience Morocco beyond the typical tourist stops, learn about the culture, and have someone take care of all the details, we highly recommend them. Thank you, Said, and thank you, Morocco Fabulous Travel, for giving us such an incredible experience and so many wonderful memories to bring home! And to you, Said: “Fantastic bombastic!” 🇲🇦❤️
Do it... If you're on the fence- I assure you, you will not regret booking this experience. Our driver was Hassan Ouk. Hasson was not only a great and always alert driver but also very informative about the sights we were visiting and was very thorough, ensuring our comfort for the long drives. Whether it be finding the perfect air temperature- noticing when I'd open a window or close it, finding the best music selection or just adding good conversation, he is on it... and then add the numerous amount of checkpoints along the road, I always felt that I was in good hands with him in the drivers seat. Thank you, Hassan, you truly made the trip one for the recordbooks! To add, everything about the trip was very well planned, with sights to see along the way so the long drives were thoughtfully broken up. The glamping experience was very comfortable and the Babylon Dades Hotel was picturesque and very comfortable, as well. You could tell that much thought was put into selecting the stays, the restaurant stops and all other stops, ensuring a great experience all around. I cannot stress enough, DO IT and then like me, you will share this link with family and friends to use in the future!
Our guide Mustapha was exceptional and this tour was a highlight of our trip to Morocco. We did a private 3 day tour (couple - just the 2 of us) from Fes to Marrakech including a desert camel ride and luxury overnight stay in the desert. This was the absolute best way to see and experience different parts of Morroco. Not only did our guide get us safely and comfortably to each place, he answered any and all questions, shared endless knowledge of the areas, and went above and beyond to elevate our experience at every turn. We feel so lucky to have found this tour - 10/10 can’t miss if you’re visiting Morocco!
Hassan was an excellent tour guide. He went above and beyond and tailored the trip to our preferences. He is very knowledgeable and made the overall trip enjoyable and made us feel safe the entire time.
We had a wonderful trip. While the sights were unexpected and astonishing (wow! The dunes of the Sahara!), the highlight of our trip was the conversation we had with our guide, Ali. There were hours of driving, and during that time, we learned about Berber and Moroccan culture and traditions. We exchanged views about the world, America, North Africa, and tv shows. Some of the stops were touristy, but we had plenty of time to learn more about Islam and the real Morocco. The itinerary was great, and the stops in the desert, the gorges and the kasbah were eye openers. What a wonderful trip! We really enjoyed it.
We had a lovely experience, all thanks to our guide Said B. Said is a pure soul with an honest enthusiasm for sharing his country with guests. We learned so much from him and always felt very safe and cared for. The tour is a lot of driving so be prepared for that, but we thought it was a wonderful way to see the country. The food was great too! If you’re sensitive to heat, don’t go in August like we did! It was manageable but 108 F in the desert.
This tour was really great, our tour guide Said B was really kind, welcoming and informative. My highlight was the Sahara sand dunes at sunset and the local Souk in Rissani (only open 3/7 days a week). There was a LOT of driving but we frequently stopped for scenic spots, small tours and breaks. Todgha Gorge was very beautiful although very busy, but I felt this added to the atmosphere. I didn't personally enjoy the Africa Luxury Dessert Camp as the treatment of the Camels seemed unnecessarily poor and the staff seemed quite unhappy. I'm not sure why Altas studio was included in the tour as not enough time was given (15 min) to go inside (apparently the tour takes 2 hours and it costs 130 MAD) not can you use toilets without paying for the tour. The Ait Benhaddou and Kasbar were very cool to visit, the lunch stop before was probably the best food on the tour too.
