Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga At the first day of Fes to Fes 2 days Merzouga desert tour , The departure from Fez is at 8:00 AM. Our professional driver takes you along the Atlas mountains. On your way, you will pass by some Berber villages like Imouzzer (1200 m of altitude). This village is inhabited by the famous Berber tribe of "Zayanes" whose main occupation is agriculture. Afterwards, a stop is necessary in Ifrane (1650 m of altitude). It looks like a small Swiss town and it is famous for its Ski Resort of Michlifen. Not much further you will enjoy a walk in the Cedar Forest. This is known for being the home of the North African monkey (the famous Barbary macaque).
Day 2: Merzouga - Tafilalte - Fes Wake early and walk across the dunes to watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, about 50 kilometers from Merzouga. Take a shower after and enjoy breakfast before the drive back to Fes, and benefit from comfort stops on the approximate 7-hour journey.
I have Decided to go back to fez 1 month later. This Time I was invited by my friends. I full again in love with some new places and desert which We found totally as Therapy for us . As well as the Trip's Team organized every step as it should be. I love that. Thank you All.
Ghali is very friendly and helpful, always try his best to meet our requests. He knows we love animals so he brings us to the fossil place on the way from desert to Fes. He also brought apple for us to feed the monkeys. We have wonderful experience with him in Morocco!! 🫶🏻

The drivers are very friendly and will slow down where there are bumps in the road to lessen the impact. They also interject a brief commentary about the towns along the way, which makes the journey enjoyable. As mentioned by the three people above, you can see a star-filled sky in the desert. I could clearly see the dark constellations here, which I cannot see in everyday life. It is recommended to download a constellation app beforehand. Note that mobile phone connection is difficult in the desert.
When you think of adventure, this is what comes to mind. The camel ride was surprisingly smooth, and the team went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. But the highlight? Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. It’s a moment etched in my heart forever, I totally fall in love with everything I saw.

We spent 6 days in Morocco on a trip from Tanger to Merzouga desert. The experience was amazing and the tour with El Ghali was perfect, everything was on our expectation. 100% recommended.
Idriss is a wonderful guide, we spent 14 days of the most taken care of. He speaks perfect Spanish and is very patient. The route went from Morocco to Tanger, passing through the cool desert. Riads and hotels are very good. A journey I would repeat without hesitation.

It was a very precious experience to spend one night in the Sahara! The trip to the desert was a lot to see, and I enjoyed it very quickly. Especially the post-dinner dance in the desert, under a starry sky, as if we were living there, was a luxury time!
I was able to feel the vastness of nature that I could not experience in Japan. The starry sky, especially in the desert, was the best I have ever seen. The food, the music and the dancing that the Berbers cooked for me was also amazing. The drivers are very kind, fun and safe to get us there. I will never forget this experience again.
This is a tour where you can experience something precious and unique in Morocco. We travel by camel to the tents in the desert. I think it will be easier to put it in a rucksack because carrying a lot of luggage will be difficult. It is also possible to get off the camel and take photos at the scenic spots along the way. You can take photos while riding a camel, but be careful as it rocks. You also need cash because you stop at restaurants and kiosks along the way, but your card is not accepted. A smaller amount of 20 dirhams is recommended because it is more convenient.
They didn't have to push me around for souvenirs or lunch, and they chose a comfortable restaurant to suit their wishes. We had a very relaxing time on a private tour from start to finish. The driver and the person involved in the desert speak English, so it was good that they didn't have to worry about language barriers. The starry sky and desert scenery that you won't see in Japan was a memory I will never forget!!
とても素晴らしい2日間でした！ 紳士的なドライバーが8時間の移動時間を快適に過ごさせてくれます。途中で寄ってくれる写真スポットもとても良かったです。 砂漠では、自然の力を全身で感じることできます。ベルベル人たちのおもてなしも素晴らしく、一緒に星空の下で踊った夜は忘れることはないでしょう。自分の世界が広がったツアーでした。 お土産や昼食など押し売りされることも無く、こちらの希望に合わせて快適なお店を選んでもらえました。最初から最後までプライベートツアーでとてもゆったり過ごすことが出来ました。運転手さんも砂漠で関わった方も英語が通じるので、言語の壁の心配をしなくて済むところも良かったです。日本では見られない星空と砂漠の景色は一生忘れられない思い出になりました！！ サハラ砂漠で1晩過ごせるというとても貴重な体験でした！砂漠までの移動も見どころが多く、あっという間で楽しく過ごせました。特に砂漠でのディナー後のダンスは、まるで現地に住んでるかのような雰囲気で、満天の星空の下、贅沢な時間でした！ ドライバーの方はとても親切で、道に段差がある所では衝撃を和らげるためにスピードを落としてくれます。また、道中の街について簡単な解説も挟んでくれて、移動中も楽しく過ごすことができます。上の3人も書いてありますが、砂漠では満天の星空を見ることができます。普段の生活では見ることができない暗い星座もここでならハッキリと見えました。事前に星座アプリをダウンロードしておくことをオススメします。砂漠では携帯電話が繋がりにくいので注意してください。 砂漠の中にあるテントまではラクダで移動します。荷物が多いと運ぶのに苦労するのでリュックサックにまとめられると楽だと思います。途中の景色の良いところではラクダから降りて撮影することも可能です。ラクダに乗りながらでも撮影は出来ますが、揺れるので注意が必要です。また、道中でレストランや売店に立寄りますが、カードが使えないので現金が必要です。20ディルハムくらいの小さい額の方が使い勝手が良いのでオススメです。

El Ghali has been a phenomenal driver and guide. We have made a route from Fez to the Merzouga desert through some charming local villages and establishments. He speaks English and French perfectly and has been a great help to us throughout. He has explained many interesting things about the country and has always answered everything. He knows all the roads very well and drives great. In addition, it has always respected our tempos (make stops for photos, for food...). If you are thinking of taking such a route or any other through this area, I highly recommend going with it!
