Fes Medina Full Day Guided Tour And Ramparts By Car

Easy to connect over WhatsApp and accommodated request to start the tour earlier. Comfortable with English. Though took us to many shops no pressure to buy. I rate him so mediocre because he was only on phone through out our walk through the Medina. Without guide you will get lost so he was like our Google maps. He was just talking on phone and walking ahead we kept calling him and asking questions. Even in the car the guide was only chatting with the driver. The personal tour was a waste as we could hardly engage with the guide. I wouldn’t recommend him

The outstanding part was our guide. Knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and friendly. We had some unfortunately rainy weather, but he was able to make our experience worthwhile. Just great!

I visited Fes with a friend in September, and we emailed Mohamed of Hassle Free Excursion because he was highly recommended. He was a fantastic guide who taught us a lot about the culture and history of Morocco and of Fes. He always waited for us whenever we wanted to stop anywhere and was protective of us so we didn’t have to worry about pickpockets. I do not believe he is the kind of person to not care or to leave anyone anywhere, as a previous reviewer suggested. Now that I am back in Fes for a longer trip, I am using his services again and would recommend him to any of my friends who visit Fes. He treats me like family, with true Moroccan hospitality that can be hard to find in more touristy cities, especially like in Marrakech or in some parts of Fes. Mohamed was a fantastic guide, and I would highly recommend him!

It was a beautiful day with Mohamad and Omar the driver. We spent time sightseeing and also trying traditional foods. We were blown away by these amazing experiences and look to return to this beautiful country. They were very professional and taught us a lot about the Moroccan culture. Morocco is highly recommended and those tour guides are impressive.

Had so much fun, everything was exceptional and smooth sailing. We learned so much and had time for everything. We also tried some good food and we were facinneted by Moroccan culture. This was our first trip to Fez. Mohamed provided a great tour of the Medina. We had a great mix of history and shopping.

Our guide Mohamed was outstanding, also Mohamed (Toto) the driver was excellent, so friendly I felt I had known him for years, we communicated with Hassle Free Excursion via WhatsApp during our trip and they were always accurate, responded promptly, always on time (we used them for the guided tour of Fez as well as private transportation from Fez to Chefchaouen and later from Chefchaouen to Tangier

Omar and Mohammed were great guides and went out of their way to help us get what we wanted from the tour. Fes is a magical city and we really appreciated getting to see both inside and outside of the Medina. With handicrafts being such a focal point of the economy and history, there and plenty of opportunities to learn and shop too. The mosaic and pottery cooperative was the main highlight!

Going to places where locals go, such as the healing water spring at Sidi Harazem, seafood cafe for lunch, stopping to buy local fruit and nuts. We asked Omar some questions, which were perhaps a little odd for tourists, but he went out of his way to find answers.

I had a great day out with Hamid and Omar. From the beginning, they were extremely friendly and very funny, they made me feel very comfortable. We got onto the subject of languages and they speak a lot of them! I learnt loads about Fes, it's was very educational and interesting. Had an amazing lunch for a very cheap price, it was enough for at least 4 people but Hamid explained leftovers are given to the poor so there is no food wastage. Both Hamid and Omar grew up in the Medina, so they really know what they're talking about. I highly recommend them!

Omar and Hamid were great - they taught me a lot of interesting things and made me feel really welcome and comfortable. We got onto the subject of languages and they speak multiple languages too! Had a fun day, I learnt a lot and got to experience the real Fez with locals who grew up in the Medina.

My wife and I met Mohamed through a taxi driver when we got to the Fes CTM bus station. Mohammed gave us his number and told us to reach out if we wanted to do a tour of the city with him. We reached out that night and we’re able to set up a 10 am pickup the following morning from the hotel. Mohammed secured a driver for us and he took us to the palace, through the Jewish quarter and to a viewpoint to get a panoramic view of the city. After the viewpoint, we went to a pottery factory where he set us up with a free tour. Then we went into the Medina where he guided us through the various pathways. We weren’t interested in purchasing a carpet but Mohamed took us to a store for the experience. Mohamed wasn’t pushy and when we said we were ready to move on, we left with no hassle. He took us to a few other government regulated stores in the Medina, then guided us back to our riad. Glad to have met Mohamed and experience the Medina with his expertise. He asked for our preferences and included it in our tour, so if you book with Mohammed make sure to let him know about the things you are interested in.

Amin our tour guide gave and gives the best experience Morocco can offer. We had phenomenal time touring the Medina of Fez. We highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking to have the best experience of their life.

We had Muhammad from Hassle Free Excursion as our guide. We had a really good time. He was very helpful easy going and very knowledgeable. He also arranged excellent transport with a driver. We were delighted with his care and attention and would highly recommend him to anyone seking an excellent guide in Fes.

Perfect introduction to the diversity and beauty of the Medina. We enjoyed fantastic views and were brought to insight locations in a just few hours, which we never would found ourselves.

Did a private full day tour with Muhammed of fez. Excellent well informed guided tour. He took us to some great shopping places and we were able to see some great historical locations within the city. He recommended Mustafa to take us to the blue city which is a 3 hour drive from Fes and one of the new wonders of the world. Mustafa drove really well through the hilly terrain. He was really polite and recommend some great authentic local places to eat. I would definitely recommend hiring Mustafa and Muhammed when visiting Fes.

Our tour with Amin was an unexpected addition to our trip, and a great one at that! Our Riad recommended Amin from Hassle Free Excursion when we informed Amin that we had a specific plan for the day. Amin was an amazing guide! He was very well informed, personable, and so much fun! We all instantly clicked, it was as though we met up with a friend after quite some time. He made you feel very comfortable. We toured the entire Medina and were told a beautiful history along the way. It would have a mess if my group and I did not have Amin as a guide! I highly recommend taking a tour with Amin for an authentic experience!

I cannot recommend Mohamed highly enough as a guide for your time in Fes!! He is exceptionally knowledgeable, interesting, friendly, and fun. Earlier this month I traveled through Fez for a quick trip with a small group of work friends. We spent an entire amazing day touring the city with Mohamed, and it was a joy to have him lead us around and spend time with him. By the end of the day, he felt like a member of our group himself. On the more functional side of things... When we first met him, Mohamed proposed a really great initial schedule and then tailored the sites, food, timing, shops, etc all to accommodate our preferences and feedback. His English is excellent. His historical knowledge was accurate and interesting, and really added a lot to the tour. You can tell how much he loves his city and community, and by the end we all loved Fes too!

We originally had no intentions of a guided tour in Fes, but on our train ride from Casablanca to Fes we met a wonderful tour guide coming back from Meknes. We chatted for a bit and he told us about his tour guide friend in Fes and that we should meet up with him. Not thinking much of it, we said “that would be nice” and left it at that. As we got off the train, we were surprised to find Mohammed waiting there for us! He took us around the crowd of people jostling to get a taxi, showed us a little place for some yummy food and then got us a very reasonably-priced taxi to our AirBNB. He then offered to take us on a tour of Fes the next day. Normally we are wary of people who appear to be “too good” to be true, but we just had a good gut feeling about this guy. The next morning he picked us up and took us to breakfast at his mom’s house (who was lovely and wouldn’t accept any money from us for her delicious food), then he took us on a wonderful guided tour of Fes. His insights were absolutely amazing and his help in navigating the medina was invaluable. After our day, he called us a private taxi for Chefchaouen and got us a really reasonable rate. He made our experience in Fes one of the most enjoyable we had during our stay in Morocco. Absolutely recommended for anyone traveling to Fes! TLDR: we didn’t plan on doing a guided tour of Fes, but through a series of fortunate events met up with Mohammed at the train station and our stay was absolutely wonderful because of meeting him. Highly recommended!

We had a private tour with Mohammad in the Medina in Fes and it was incredible! He showed us the Jewish quarter as well, made sure to take us to all of the best spots, and was super helpful. I would recommend him to anyone! 10/10

Can't say enough about my experience with Mohammed at Hassle Free Excursions. I only had one day in Fes and he managed to make me feel like I covered the entire city in 8 hours. His incredible knowledge of the history of the city combined with creating an authentic, organized tour made the me feel felt like I was being shown around by the mayor of the city. As a solo traveler in Fes, I was wary of strangers offering me experiences too good to be true. Luckily, Mohammed absolutely lived up to they hype. I cannot imagine navigating this city without his wisdom and expertise. After an incredible weekend, I am sure we will be friends and I will have to reach out to him when I am back in Morocco. PLEASE do not do Fes without this rockstar!

Unfortunately my visit to Fez very brief. Fortunately for me though we got in contact with Mohamed and thanks to him, not only did we cover much ground, we learned so much of Fez, Medina, and Morocco. Mohamed is very helpful and more importantly very friendly. I had a great time in Fez thanks to him. When I make it back to this lovely country, I definitely will do another tour with him.

What can I say about this amazing company? So so much. First, Amin is now my brother for life and I am so happy to have met him. He made sure my time in Morocco was completely HASSLE FREE. Second, Amin knows ALL of the best places to visit in Morocco and is so well-connected, wherever you go, he will make sure you’re well taken care of. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the Médina, the tannery, the women’s rug co-op, and textile factory. He made sure we ate well (thanks Mom!) and he just made our trip so much better. He is soooo knowledgeable of Fes and even connected us with someone in Marrakech for the second half of our trip. This is the best tour company in Morocco!!

I visited Morocco in 2018 and loved it! I used hasslefree excursion in Marrakesh and it was fantastic! I revisited Morocco recently (during the pandemic) and used their services again, this time in Fez, and had a fantastic tour. My guide Mohammed Amin took my family and I all over Fez, including the King Palace and the Jewish Quarter. We also went to see the panoramic view of the Medina. My guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely organized. He also took us to the unique shops in the Medina where we were able to purchase handmade items as gifts. He was also multi-lingual which made traveling and communicating very easy. I highly recommend this tour company and look forward to another trip to Morocco . Kavita NYC
