Wonderful, informative and value-for-money. We were picked up on time, traveled to the Medina, shared the tour with only one other person (who did not speak English but the tour was bilingual so this was no problem), and visited many interesting places (all the ‘cottage’ industries were well represented, and of course the tannery). You are also taken to specific shops where you can buy things, but as mentioned in other reviews, there is absolutely no expectation or pressure to purchase anything. It is a market, after all.

We had a great day out with Majid. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and it was a great city to have a guide for as it is very easy to get lost. He showed us some beautiful places and was very easy to talk to. A wonderful day out.

Majid was the BEST guide in Fed! He showed us all of the highlights and many hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. He was kind, generous, and funny. I would highly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed this tour. Ali was a great guide, knowledgeable without being overwhelming, and clearly knew the Medina inside out. He took us through parts of the old city I’d never have found on my own, explaining the history and significance of each stop along the way. He also brought us to a few artisan spots, the tanneries, leather goods, carpets, wooden crafts. Nobody was pushy at any of them, which I appreciated. A polite no was always enough. Would definitely recommend, especially if it’s your first time in Fez.

Very interesting and informative tour at a gentle pace. It would be impossible to get around the medina properly without the help of a guide and our guide showed us all that needed to be seen, explaining local crafts and history at the same time.

Well-paced walking tour. Saw parts of medina otherwise would have been missed. The tour though, takes you to shops that are really expensive but no one forced to purchase items.

The tour was extremely informative and showed us a side of the city that we would not have been exposed to.

It was a disappointing tour. There were hidden travel costs as our guide didn't have a car. The information was very scant as our guide had a limited grasp of english and the facts we were told were given without any enthusiasm. A very serious tour guide, who didn't engage, keep using his phone and disappeared to pray.

Lamiaa was the absolute best and we had such a great time! She showed us all of the best spots and tons of behind the scenes experiences that we wouldn’t have been able to do with anyone else

The guided tour around Fez with Ali was exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable about Fez and its history and it was an honour to learn from him. Although we visited local artisans there wasn’t any hard sells and I wasn’t under any pressure to purchase anything. He showed me a lovely textile shop and took me to where they make ceramics. On request he also took me outside of the medina to see the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter and breath taking panoramic views. I would absolutely recommend!

We had an absolutely fabulous day with Lamiaa and Karim!!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would. They picked us up near our hotel, and shared their beautiful city with us in their own unique style. We learned SO much about the Fes Medina and surrounding areas during the tour. Lamiaa was very patient as we asked many questions. She carefully explained the answers and checked with us constantly to see if we wanted to see certain things as the tour progressed. The day was wonderful. At the end, they recommended a great local restaurant which we immediately went to visit. The local cuisine there was wonderful!!!! If you are in this area, you should most definitely book this tour. You cannot go wrong with it.

Our guide was lovely and soft spoken. She gave us such a warm and welcoming tour of the Medina. We met her husband and son, who made us feel right at home. She let is dictate what we saw and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I can't say anything bad about the experience, from the communication, to the actual tour, to meeting her family and seeing her family shop. All was lovely and incredible!

This was a fantastic tour with Taoufik, who is a true local who grew up in the medina and provided insights into the oral history and living in the Medina. In addition to the touristy sites, we toured residential areas, local markets and even visited the dar (house) Taoufik lived in as a child with three generations of family (which is now inhabited by other relatives). We visited several food markets, tried many varieties of dates, and even had a bowl of fava bean soup with locals having breakfast - it was nearly a food tour included! We have friends visiting Morocco later this year and will recommend Taoufik to them by name! Shukran, Taoufik and KI Fes Cultural Tour!

Had a great tour with Lamiaa. I went on the tour alone with my 1.5 year old. For. Families, I would say that if you are comfortable using a baby carrier (not very pram friendly streets) and walking 5-6km, then I would absolutely recommend the tour. Lamiaa was very genuine and made sure the pace worked for us. We got to see the less tourist side of Fes, ticked off some big itinerary ‘to see’ items and learnt heaps about the city. I rarely write reviews, only on occasion when the service is exceptional. I have to write to inform others that this tour is not only not worth the money but a waste of your time. The guide will take you from one location to another to sell you something. For example, the tour lists the tannery with the entrance fee included. They take you to a leather shop that overlooks the tannery, not the tannery itself, only to try and sell you leather products. It lists tea/coffee provided and water. We had to buy water from the shop as it was not provided by the guide. I'm disappointed TripAdvisor would waste my time and money for an unprofessional guided service. I have used Viator in the past and have had much better luck.

This was for far the best tour ever! I didn’t know what to expect but it ended up being an exceptional private tour with the best local guides. It is led by husband and wife. They take you on the car to a mountain for the perfect tea with the perfect view and then you go and explore the city. Honestly I cried of happiness at some point because I felt I was living the real local experience, got to see lovely places and they were extremely lovely and caring. We had close conversations, we bought sustainable souvenirs from artesian and we learned a lot from them and their lives. They have their own pashmina and carpets factory, and if you buy some you wouldn’t regret it. I didn’t want to say good bye as I felt they both were our friends rather than just a tour. They don’t rush you at all, and it feels they do it because of love and passion rather than a business. If you can CHOOSE them!! Thank you so much for being the highlight of this trip!! I will never forget you guys <3

Honestly one of the best tours ever we had the chance to visit so many historical places, the way people treated us and took care of us is just amazing, thanks to Lamiae everything was perfect. Highly recommended, I would definitely visit again.

Lamiaa is absolutely wonderful! We started the day with tea at a cafe outside the city and then roamed around, she quickly noticed what our interests were and catered the tour to our particular likings which I absolutely loved. The guide was very good. We visited all the important places in the old medina. He was very sympathiek. We felt comfortabele with him. He knew a lot about the history and We would hire him again or recomment to others. We made a lot of pictures and he recommanded a good rooftop restaurant. We started at our hotel and he brougt us back to the hotel. All together the tour was including lunch 5 hours.

Today we had wonderful day exploring Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco with the best guide Lamiaa. Lamiaa is amazing, professional, kind and knowledgeable person and she was able to lead us through the centuries of history and rich culture of this beautiful city. She enriched us with so many informations, show us small alleys of Medina that is an open - air museum. Every corner has some story that she shared with us, from mosques, madrasas, mausoleums to old handcrafts shops. Without her leading we would be lost in the labyrinth of Medina. She transferred her love for Fes to us and show us hidden corners that one tourist without her help wouldn't be able to discover. Her knowledge, positive energy and relax approach made our day. Great visit ever, old medina is so full of historical knowledge as well as monuments. with the guidance of Ms lamiae such a nice person we had the chance to see and learn more about the medina, we’d love to have another visit soon.

It was really a wonderful experience with a wonderful guide , lamiae was so kind, we explored more than a traditional and monumental place , we had 4 hours in the tour schedule but she stayed with us much longer It was really a hell of an experience that will stay stick in my memory like a tattoo.
