Day Trip To Chefchaouen "The Blue Town " From Fes

We had a wonderful day trip to Chefchaouen with Najim. He was extremely kind, friendly and welcoming, and created a great atmosphere throughout the journey. Most importantly, he was a very safe and professional driver, making us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire day. Definitely worth every penny! We had 4 hours in Chefchaouen with a 1-hour free tour guide, and it was just the perfect amount of time. We took many photos and enjoyed this little town. Our driver Said Arfoud was the kindest human ever. He was so attentive and pleasant, he really made sure we enjoyed our ride (and even shared his wifi with us). Definitely recommending this tour to everyone!

Amazing adventure to Chefchaouen! Special thanks to our driver Najim who made our way to the blue medina interesting, talking to us about moroccan culture and puting great music. Chefchaouen is a jewel of a city, very charming in a beautiful context surrounded by the two moutains. There is a fortress and even a walk to the faterfall nearby! The guided tour made us learn a lot a fun facts about the place ;) Thank you!

Najim and this company are absolutely wonderful, very communicative, and very safe! He picked us up very promptly and had great information to share about Morrocco culture on the long drive. The drive was broken up very nicely to get some coffee and see some views, so it felt a lot shorter than it is. He also took great pictures on every stop. Would definitely recommend him to everyone visiting the country!

Najim drove my daughter and I to Chefchoen for the day. It was a long ride but Najim was very nice, communicative and on time! It's about a 4 hour drive (because of back roads) each way. Funniest part is we ran into him the next day at our hotel picking up another guest for another tour!

We booked the 8 people max tour. We were picked up last from our Riad, 25 mins late due to someone being late at one of the other pick up points. Not the tour’s fault but something to bear in mind when booking a group tour. Otherwise the trip there and back was pretty good. Plenty of space on our mini bus, We stopped half way (which was welcome). We had a guide in chefchaouen, for about an hour. It was helpful to get our bearings but not everyone in the group spoke English so the guide had to explain everything twice, once in English, then again in Spanish. I feel people started to lose interest after a while. Then we had about 3 hours to wander around on our own, which was plenty. Overall, long day but good way to do a day trip to chefchaouen.

Really nice organization, schedule, transport and drivers! The contact was clear and I felt appreciated as a client. This is a good way to have a quick look in this city if you dont want to spend overnight. Mohcine and Driss are excelent drivers and I felt very welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Just arrived at Fez international airport from a day trip from Fes to Chefchaouen. Najim is our driver and he has been driving very carefully and safely during the 10+hours trip. His English is very good and we can have conversations along the way. He is also very knowledgeable about the region and explains us the history during our trip. The arrangements of breakfast and lunch are perfect and the foods are delicious. Appreciate you, Najim for your excellent service and hospitality.

It was a lovely day trip to the blue city, beautiful destination great for photography. Our driver Labhar was great, delivered us on time and with regular breaks. Also fun to talk to. We didn't take the local guide when reaching the blue city as wanted more time on our own to explore. So the trip was mainly for the transport which did a great job. Overall a great experience!

At 7:45 in the morning, we were picked up by a small van that took us to a large bus. Bus drivers Ayoup and Hassan drove us smoothly to and from Chefchaouen. On the way there, we made a nice stop at a sightseeing spot and a useful coffee and bathroom break. Our guide Omar told us about the sightseeing spots, the surroundings, the culture, and the history in three languages and with the necessary humor. But he was also very knowledgeable about what is going on in the world and very interested in others. Thank you, guys!

Amazing experience! Highly recommend! Our guide Labhar was born and raised in chefchaouen city itself and was versed with the history. The driver Soufian was helpful and provided multiple spots along the route and explained Moroccan landscape/scenery. Both knew English well and made the experience excellent! Perfect balance of 1 hour tour and 3+ free time afterwards for self exploration.

My friends and I joined the one-day tour to Chefchaouen with our wonderful driver and guide, Hassan. The ride itself was a pleasure—Hassan shared fascinating insights about the region, the culture, and the beautiful landscapes along the way. Once we arrived, our local elder guide welcomed us warmly and passionately shared the history and stories of the Blue City, which made the experience all the more special. After the guided tour, we had about an hour of free time to wander the charming streets and enjoy lunch. It was the perfect balance of structure and freedom. Chefchaouen is already a magical place, but the thoughtful guidance and hospitality made it unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience on this small group tour from Fes to Chefchaouen. The ride was smooth, the driver Labhar was very friendly and informative, and the scenery through the mountains was stunning. The Mercedes Benz bus was clean and comfortable, we even felt like this is a private transfer because there were only two of us and one extra passenger. Chefchaouen itself was absolutely beautiful — we had plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the town. The free guide from the tour in the city is a must have - incredible knowledge and personality! Everything was well-organized and relaxed. Highly recommend this trip!

The organisers remained in touch and have us picked up at the blue gate by someone to take to the point where we met the driver. A young skilful driver, Sufiyan, who was polite and helpful. The journey was long from Fez but it was a worthwhile trip. The blue city was amazing, and people friendly there. We met another guide upon arrival at Chefchaouen who was good, appeared knowledgeable and had good sense of humour. He showed us around for an hour and then we explored the place for 2.5 hours ourselves before taking the van back at 4pm. Unfortunately the mini van’s AC did not work for most of the journey back to Fez. It was very warm that day so it made it uncomfortable at times. Overall a big thumbs up for the driver and local guide at Chefchaouen.

The tour to Chefchaouen was worth the drive each way. The city is stunning with the blue colors set in the mountains and Labhar was a great guide and driver. The drive is long but the views are scenic! The time in Chefchaouen starts with a small walking tour which was helpful to learn more about the culture and history of the city. The 3 hours free time was sufficient to have lunch and see more of the city.

Jamai said was very hospitable, he was a good driver and made the trip very pleasant. He let us get a pizza on the way back and took us to the Ryad for us to be safe, thanks a lot!

Labhar was our host for the whole day during our trip. He drove us from Fes to Chefchaouen & also the return trip. On our way, he took care both of us as much as possible and tried to explain Moroccan culture & various scenic places. He was an excellent driver and was very friendly & helpful. Above all, he has great manners & very respectful to all. He also has great time management sense which gave us enough time to visit Chefchaouen properly. I will recommend Labhar as your host for this day trip any time.

Chefchaouen was beautiful! Pick up started off somewhat chaotic. It was very disorganized trying to arrange people into the correct buses as some folks were staying overnight and some (like us) were on a daytrip only. The drive there was long - about 3.5-4 hours with 3 stops. By the time we arrived in Chefchaouen, we only had about 3-3.5 hours to spend, and this included an hour long walking tour. The drive back consisted of more stops since there was mechanical issues with the van and needed to pop to an auto shop and then get boosted in a parking lot. Overall, I would recommend a trip to the blue town, but I think spending the night to avoid sitting in a van for 8 hours(+) would have been a better option.

Labhar drove us from Fes to Chefchaouen and back! He was a tremendous driver and host for our entire trip! He took care of our needs beautifully. He was a great guide as well and explained many things about the culture and the landscape as we drove along! I could not speak more highly of this fine young man! Be sure to ask for him when you’re doing this tour! You will not be disappointed! We also highly recommend the tour as well! It’s definitely worth a trip to see the “Blue City”!

Labhar was a great driver and a tour guide. He was on time to pick us up and the everything on the trip went on smoothly. He was very punctual throughout the trip which made the journey much more easier and made it seem effortless. His driving skills were great and he definitely knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend booking a trip/tour with him if you want to make your trip easy and comfortable.

We spent 10 hours travelling + only 4 hours at Chefchouen. We had a guide on arrival but he told us nothing about the history of the town - we saw a small bakery + took us to a restaurant that we didn't ask to go to. Directions to find the bus to go back were very vague. No interesting stops on the journey there or back.
