Day Trip From Fez To Middle Atlas Mountains, Cedar Forest & Azrou

This tour was great! The guide, Driss, was very kind and knowledgeable, encouraging questions and sharing lots of interesting information about Morroco. We appreciate the attention to detail and the very personal tour. The vehicle where we were transported was spacious and had seatbelts. We would definitely recommend to those trying to do something quick outside of Fes.

This is a full day but worth it, the driver/ guide Diss was brilliant, very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have.

Labhar was informative, friendly, accommodating.

We had a great experience on this day trip. We saw many different animals and were able to feed the monkeys while observing them in their natural habitat. The scenery was beautiful and we were provided several photo opportunities. The cave house was an unexpected pleasure to see and we enjoyed tea at the site. The guide was excellent, allowing us the flexibility to stay longer or shorter at various stops according to our preferences. We were not pressured into unwanted shopping, which was a relief. The ride was very comfortable and air-conditioning was provided. This was a good value and we were very satisfied with the trip. Our guide was friendly and courteous, and ensured our experience was enjoyable.

We had a nice full day with Labhar, a very friendly guide and chauffeur. Even though more information could have been given about the different places we visited, we had a lot of fun and good conversations. We also enjoyed the time we got on our own to walk around en explore the different towns.

Our group of 8 on their group day trip from Fes to Sefrou and Bahlil. Said was an excellent driver and Hamid was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. Great experience all around. Particularly beautiful stop at the waterfall.

Do not expect a tour. Basically it is driver taking you to each stop. You get out of the car for 30 minutes and walk around. There was no stop at the fish station.

The tour with Hassan was very good. Hassan knows a lot of things and he explains you very well. Further is Hassan an very kind person and you can have interesting conversations with him

Nice trip to see the some of the beautiful spots in the middle atlas mountains. With Hassan as our guide we had a nice and relaxing time. The cooler temperatures in the mountains make it a nice way to cool off from the cities.

We had a really great trip to the Atlas mountains in December with our driver Mohammed. Immouzer, Ifrane and Azrou were the goals of the trip. The weather was kind of bad (cloudy, looking like rain) when we got picked up, so we weren't surprised that no one else except for us 2 booked the tour. Mohammed was recommended to us as a guide to the Atlas-region. And no surprise here: he is. He showed us around a lot, took us to some other small places a little bit off the route and explained to us much about their history. So we got to see one of the Prince's Lakes with some ducks on it, and he also took us to a cave where 29 generations of people lived in until now. They stopped at some amazing panoramic view points, took pictures of us, brought us to a great place for lunch and helped us a lot in general. We saw Ifrane and it's honestly a little surreal to see such a European looking city in Morocco. We also went to the two really old ceder-trees with monkeys. If you don't mind wild animals close to you, it's definitely a good spot. The trees looked kind of sad, but yet it was interesting and definitely an experience. All in all it was a great tour and he made it truly special for us!

My son and I had a fantastic trip with Labhar. We were not staying at one of the designated pick up places but he kindly met us outside of our Riad so we didn't have to take a taxi to meet him. Labhar speaks English very well and was able to explain the sites we were seeing and give us context. My son loved the monkey tour and we stayed longer than we were supposed to but Labhar was very accommodating I would highly recommend this company and you should ask for Labhar as your guide. You will be lucky to get him

We had the best time with Dris! I came on a tour with my friend, and he picked us up from our hotel right on time. He was so kind and helpful and we really appreciated having him as our guide. He was funny and it was great to spend the day together. Thanks so much Dris!

Shout out Driss, our amiable tour guide for our day trip. Driss (a knowledgable polyglot) elevated our experience sharing snippets about the areas we drove through and visited with humour and good vibes. We had the opportunity to pop off for several strolls to take in ifran and azrou, which balanced out the time spent in the car beautifully. A thorough and un-rushed driving tour with stops in Ifrane, Cedar Forest, Station de Pisciculture Ras El Ma, Azrou, and Amazingh underground home. Mohcine was a generous and accommodating driver who offered many insights and answered questions along the way. Recommend!

Said and Aziz were excellent tour guides. They provided lots of information about the places we went to as well as about Morocco in general. They presented each of the destinations in an engaging manner and gave us a feeling of excitement and discovery. We had the freedom to explore on our own but they were always available if needed. We highly recommend them.

Mohammed was a funny and engaging driver for our middle atlas day trip. We've been on various day trips from Fes and this was the first one where we did not fall asleep in the car. He shared a lot about his culture and personal life, which we enjoyed learning about. The middle atlas sights were very different from the Fes medina, and he told us he's from Middle Atlas region himself, so we felt like we got a local person's perspective. Led by Reda Azrou, we left Fez heading towards the Middle Atlas; although it is true that the pickup was delayed a bit, he kept us informed at all times that he was on his way. He came to pick us up in a comfortable and clean car at our Riad and we started the excursion along with three other people. We visited a wonderful Berber cave, had tea, and continued our route towards little Switzerland, a wonderful town that surprises you and leaves you fascinated by its similarity to such a distant country. Reda kept us informed at all times about the time we would have at each stop and how long it would take us to reach the next point. From there we went to the cedar forest to see the monkeys, a fun experience in the middle of nature. And for lunch we continued to his hometown, Azrou, where he recommended a delicious place to eat and we were able to walk through its streets freely. The icing on the cake was coinciding with the weekly market, which is on Tuesdays, and being able to live the experience of visiting it, a plus that we will never forget and that he closed by putting the finishing touch on by watching the sun set at an impressive water dam. A guide who made what we shared something we will never forget. Highly recommended especially because you can tell it is the area where he was born and knows like the back of his hand, the information he shared with us makes you take away very valuable information to understand that Morocco is much more than its big cities.

We had a beautiful day Najim is a perfect driver and promptly arranged a guide for a short walk in Azrou and a nearly 2-hour walk in the cedar forests (guide Khalid Kamar) at our request. The stop in Ifrane is actually unnecessary. We booked a private tour and Najim always let us choose the timings and possibilities 🙂

Very decent and friendly driver. Ifrane is not extraordinary, visit with a little train. Azrou without waterfalls, but good couscous. Magnificent cedar forest. The monkeys are cute. The little vendors are there too.

The excursion was very good. Especially because of the guide Omar, his level of Spanish is very good, he even knows traditions from many countries. His attitude is always respectful, friendly, and cooperative. Omar was always attentive to our well-being. The driver Saíd was also willing to help with everything, punctual and very pleasant to deal with. Both were exceptional.

Fantastic guide and driver. Mostly cultural visit more than historical, and zoological with the barbarian monkeys at the National Park "Ras El Ma". And believe me, there are not eight monkeys but a hundred just in the little part of the park we were in.
