Our driver was friendly, spoke English and French very well and helpful during our 8 hour trip. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with a small group of 8 passengers. Weather was great which made for a more relaxing day after the previous day in Fez visiting the Medina and enjoying all that this lovely city offers. This trip to the countryside was the perfect day out for us with a relaxing walk around Volubilis with the backdrop of Moulay Idriss hill top village and mountains, a stop for views of Moulay Idriss then lunch and a couple of hours to walk around Meknes. The trip doesn't include a guide and in part this is not needed but personally I would have appreciated a map with the cultural points of interest. I don't think we really saw everything that I would have enjoyed. At the end of the day our driver was really kind to stop off at the Royal Palace in Fez so that we could take a few photos and also drove through the Jewish quarter which we'd not had time to visit on our long weekend vist. Fez is lovely, people kind and food a treat!

This tour was fantastic. It was a fun and educational. Worth the price! It was also a small tour group so it didn’t feel like we were being left behind and we could actually hear the guide. Mr. Abdeljalil picked us up from our accommodations on time, and on the way to the car he was teaching us about the Medina. He was very smart and patient. He then drove us to our guide for today. Hassan was very friendly. We were able to enjoy the sites and learn.

Abdeljalil is a very kind and professional guide. He drove us safely from Fes to Volubilis to Moulay Idriss to Meknes and back to Fes on Jan 1. The van is spacious and comfortable. He kindly waited for us when we were a bit delayed in Volubilis. He also very kindly picked us up from a different place in Meknes when we strayed a bit far and could not find a taxi. The cost of the trip is very fair. Two things I wish I knew, which I think applies to most other day trips like this from Fes: - You basically will not get any time to walk around Moulay Idriss. If you're not muslim, you're not able to enter the mosque anyway -- but it would have been nice to have a wander - The time in Meknes is approximately 3h including lunch. Again this is not a lot of time, given especially the distance between sights in the medina and on the other side of the Royal Palace.

our guide yousef is helpful and considerate of everyone on the bus. we enjoyed our time! there was a little delay on our way to volubilis because of the traffic but we managed to see all the attractions on the way.

M. Abdeljalil was extremely generous with his time and knowledge. He checked in with the group regularly to make sure that all was well. A lovely day! We had such confidence in him that we booked a camel trek in Merzouga with him before we left Fes and are using his agency to book our transfer from Marrakech to Casablanca. Famous for its cylindrical minaret Moulay Idriss, Moulay Driss Zerhoun or simply Zerhoun (Arabic: مولاي إدريس زرهون) is a town in the Fès-Meknès region of northern Morocco, spread over two hills at the base of Mount Zerhoun.[2] It is famous for being the site of the tomb of Idris I, the first major Islamic ruler of Morocco, after whom the town is named. It is located near Meknes and overlooks the ruins of Volubilis a few kilometers away. If you’re exploring the northern area of Morocco this is a fascinating place to visit

This is a great value to see 3 places in one day, with a stunning landscape of olive groves and sheep herds while you drive. There are no tour guides so you'll have to hire those when you arrive, but I saw no reason to. We started in Volubilis and had a good 1.5 hours there. We didn't actually stop in Moulay Idriss - we were given a stop for a gorgeous panoramic view, but then we drove around and left town. Meknes was largely a local flea market and a museum. Good value, nice daytrip.

I just completed trip today. It’s a wonderful trip. Mohammed is very pleasant and professional. He is a great photographer too. It’s a very enjoyable and unforgettable trip. I would 100% pick him again if I come back to visit in the future. Thank you very much Mohammed!

It started s bit confusing with change of van, a bit stressful and worrying. But good staff at the venue to guide me to right van after a moment of waiting at the real tour could begin! Good amount of time to visit the villages and sights. Nice and guide/driver that made me feel safe.

Excellent trip to all three amenities. Comfortable transport and helpful driver. Efficient morning pick-up. Sorry I didn't bring a guide book as there was so much to see along the way.

Only one hour at Volubilis was not enough. I needed more time. We had four hours in Meknes and that was nice.

The trip was definitely worth it. The guide was kind and extremely knowledgeable. Learnt so much about Moroccan and Islamic history.

Our guide and driver Tarik did an excellent job of getting around on schedule and attending to our needs. He was friendly and informative.

The guide Talek is very helpful. He understands the importance of communication. He kept us informed about the hotel pickup time. During each site, he gave us enough time to explore. Since we aren't allowed to enter the mosque, Mouldy Idriss is just a nice view. He tried to keep it short. He took us to a nice restaurant in Meknes and no push. Volubilis is the most enjoyable site. We took a lot of pictures. These sites are not too far away, but difficult to manage the travel by yourself. This tour is a good choice if you like history and culture.

A great tour, we managed to see all three sites and have plenty of time in each. Smooth journeys all day, prompt reliable service, would certainly recommend! It might be best to avoid doing this trip on a Friday because many shops are shut in Meknes.

We had a great trip the tour guid is excellent, he can speak many languages and explains the details clearly. The trip is not too far from Fez worth visiting.

Our driver Rachid was a very nice man. He told us a lot, gave us all the time we wanted, stopped when we wanted pictures… Volubilis was great, a (really) tiny version of Pompeï. Great for a visit of 1,5-2 hours. Do wander around! There’s a lot to see. Moulay Idriss is mainly a great view. Meknes then is beautiful. Do not let yourself get lured to the nearest shop but walk to the Medina, visit the music museum (which is also a beautiful building and garden) and walk into the mosk where you’re allowed to visit as a non-moslim which is rare. Communication with Tarboosh Travel was flawless. We ended with a view from the hill over Fez to see the nightfall encounter within 10 minutes.

A very interesting flash trip. In two and a half days we discovered the medina de Fez., then an excursion to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes. Great! Our driver spoke very good French, English and Spanish. Abdeljalil is punctual , friendly and he was kind enough to show us at nightfall, the Jewish quarter and the Royal Palace of Fez that we had not had time to see. Thanks a lot.

The ruins of Volubilis are absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit. The site is impressive and very well preserved. Our driver was kind and courteous. On the other hand, the explanations provided were very limited: it drops you a place and simply gives you the time you need to return. Had I known I would have rented a car to go myself

It was a great experience. Abdeljalil is very fluent in English and is well organized throughout. Yusuf gave us a very useful introduction and also dropped us off at Meknes station at our extra request.

Excellent tour that allows you a 3in-one combo. 1.5h to visit independently volibilis, a short guided tour of Moulay Idriss and after a free lunch (they recommended a great restaurant) the visit of Meknes. The guide Youssef and the driver Abdul were kind and friendly and in 2 they spoke 3 languages (English Spanish and French). Recommended

I had a very good day, the gentleman of the agency came to pick me up at my Riad to take me to the driver, after a change of driver we left for Volubilis, there we had 1h30 (enough for a visit with guide present on site) and then we passed by Moulay Idriss, there we also met a guide who toured the city and showed us a beautiful panoramic point! Then we went to Meknes, there we had 2h30 to eat and visit, it was a bit fair but finally we got out! The driver took me back to my Airbnb for the evening (I changed Hotel between morning and evening, I was able to leave my luggage in the car safely). I recommend this agency, being alone I felt safe. They are very punctual and helpful! Thank you!

Very good agency that can be trusted. The manager picked us up in the morning at the ryad to take us to the driver. The visits were intense.
