Terrible experience from start to finish. We booked a Day Tour from Fes to the Middle Atlas (Imouzzer, Ifrane, Azrou) via Viator, specifically choosing an air-conditioned vehicle and a package that included entry fees. On 3rd July, in 40°C+ heat, we were transferred into a van with no air conditioning because the driver was “unreachable.” We spent the entire day with hot air blasting through open windows—completely unacceptable given the conditions. Despite our booking clearly including entrance fees, we were forced to pay again. When challenged, the owner referred us to his own website instead of honoring the Viator booking. The vehicle then broke down multiple times due to overheating. At one point, we were left waiting in extreme heat while the driver refilled the radiator with water. After informing the manager, the driver became visibly aggressive. We experienced three separate breakdowns, long delays, and ultimately missed one of the main stops (Azrou) entirely. The driver was not a guide, repeatedly stating he was “just the driver” and not affiliated with the company. We were promised a 70% refund but only received 50%. Given the lack of air conditioning, missed itinerary, extra costs, and safety concerns, this is unacceptable. Avoid this company.
This is a nice scenic drive with stops along the way. Our guide and driver was very helpful and patient. The visit to the cave, home of the Berber family was interesting. The stop at Ifrane was uninspiring - do some research before going so you have ideas of what you want to see and do - otherwise you will just sit in one of the cafes in the town. In the national park there are cute monkeys everywhere - but be warned they are greedy and snatch. Two people in the group were badly scratched by the monkeys. Lunch was in a local style cafe and was great. Overall a pleasant experience but a lot of driving.
The Trip was a very nice exprerience. We got to see many things and had a very kind tourguide. Would 100% recommend. We went to Ifrane and next time i would like to see chechaouen with the same agency
It was a lovely day. Jamal was a brilliant guide, very relaxed and friendly. I would recommend these guys.
This tour is nice if you want to visit some of the nearby highlights surrounding Fes and do not have your own vehicle. We had enough time at every stop to explore the area and our driver was super friendly and did not hesitate to answer all our questions. All in all a nice thing to do if you spend more than two days in Fes and want to see more than "just" the Medina.
Excellent agency in Fez. The two excursions fully satisfied us and allowed us to discover the beautiful sites of Moulay Idriss, Volubilis, Meknes and Azrou. We highly recommend this agency. Thanks again to them.
A very nice excursion, Abdeljalil is a very good guide, he took the time to explain everything well, and allowed us to take our time well during the many stops, My family and I highly recommend! Thank you again.
Very nice excursion, a very nice and pleasant driver. An activity not to be missed in the presence of adorable monkeys
At the appointed time and place, no van came for us, but that was entirely my fault. I had accidentally blocked Abdel in my WhatsApp.... In the end everything worked out and Abdel showed that he had tried almost desperately everything to reach us! But we finally succeeded and we drove out of Fes on our way to the unknown territory of the Middle Atlas. Beautiful landscapes and nice visits to the cave dwellers and the monkeys in the cedar forest. Abdel told a lot of interesting back stories. He calmly took his time with everything, and kept to the speed limits. A good tip for when we go out with a rental car the day after tomorrow. Thanks Abdel!
It was an unforgettable experience, which we were able to live with family. On the programme: Dream landscapes, adventure, and many other surprises... Besides, Jamal, our guide was exceptional, and very professional. To do absolutely!
Very nice excursion with Jamel, our driver-guide Nice with very good explanations in perfect French Recommend
We traveled with family with friends to Fairies and from her from the airport we are was accompanied with it is agency, Abdel is very kind and pro, we spent a great holiday, I highly recommend
An extraordinary ride with a great gentleman, AbdelJalil, an adorable person and one of the best guides, if not the best, of this region of Morocco. We took advantage of his experience, his meticulous knowledge of this region and his professionalism to discover these 3 beautiful cities. With our 3 children, we devoured every word and every word, because every information given by this brave gentleman was a cultural richness to take. Thank you Abdeljalil for sharing your knowledge and all the exciting stories you told us throughout this wonderful day, which will remain etched in our hearts. I promise I'll tell everyone around me about you, and if I ever come back to Fes, you'll be my first contact there. You offered us unforgettable happiness: Happiness lies in the riches that cannot be bought. A HUGE THANK YOU!
The guide was very friendly and explained a lot about life here in MOROCCO , and its history. The visit with the monkeys was very good , we were able to feed them , we also visited a cave house with tea and try on outfits. I recommend this day that changes from the city of Fes.
The tour itself didn't necessarily make a difference to us; but it doesn't change the fact that the driver/guide and the whole Tarboosh Travel team are on top (they offer you other tours). Regarding this one, the scenery is very nice and appreciable but the steps are not sufficiently exotic in our opinion. Ifrane is called "little Switzerland". As Europeans, the architecture of the city is quite/too common to us (on the other hand, it remains surprising to see this in Morocco). Azrou has a beautiful cedar forest. Try to maximize your time on site to walk around and stretch your legs. The monkeys are mostly close to the parking lot and are not afraid of anything.
All right. All beyond perfect. It was wonderful, very attentive and gentle. Very happy about everything how the day went.
To see The Atlas medium is very different from what we imagine of MOROCCO. The ride is cool. Just the monkey forest is worth a visit!
Excellent experience. The proposed places and route were wonderful. And Abdeljalil's professionalism and human quality is a 10! The best guide you can find. Kind, attentive and very friendly.
We had a great guide (Jamal) who was very kind and allowed us to visit several places, giving us time to discover and visit. We appreciated not being forced to purchase from partners like other guides do.
We were two couples and we contracted with them the route of the walls of Fez and the medina and two days later the trip to the middle atlas. We loved it. Thank you Abdul for your professionalism and kindness.
The tour is interesting to get out of the medina and do something in nature. The cedar forest is very beautiful. We went on a Friday, taking advantage of the fact that it is the day of rest and everything was closed in the cities. The agency's service was good, punctual and attentive. Very good price.
