Mohammed was a great guide, showing us both outside and inside the medina walls. We particularly enjoyed seeing the ceramics cooperative, souks, and tannery. He made us feel comfortable navigating the crowded alleys and took us to a wonderful hidden gem for lunch. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour for all visitors to Fes.

There were opportunities to stop and shop when we wanted and he tailored the tour based on what our interests were. Our trip to Fez with friends was an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Momo from Around Fez. He didn’t just take us around ,he showed us the soul of the city. From hidden alleys in the medina to the best local spots, Momo gave us a deep and authentic look into Fez’s culture. It felt like discovering the city with someone who truly lives and breathes it. The tour was fantastic. Mohammad was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. He did a wonderful job of giving my wife and me a deep appreciation and understanding of what we saw. I highly recommend him if you want to know more about Fez and its culture and sites but don’t want to be steered in to a bunch of shops.

Great tour with loads of information. Mohammed is a nice guy and really knows his home town. Fes is a great Lille town to explore and get lost.

I booked this tour on short notice (day of) and immediately heard from Mohammed who, being outside the area, arranged for my walking tour with Youssef. Youssef expertly shared much about local life in the Medina (history, food, religion, etc) and escorted me to many desirable and photogenic locations. I enjoyed seeing the various trade sections such as woodworking, dyeing, tanning, weaving, etc. Of course I expected to be lobbied to buy various items in a few of these sections, and was, but certainly no undue pressure to purchase anything. Youssef was well spoken (english) and flexible on what to visit next. I certainly valued his knowledge of how to navigate the medina too!

Where do I begin? When visiting Fes you have to get a guide and when deciding which guide to go with you HAVE to choose Mohammed and Karim! Mohammed organized everything smoothly and I was picked up at the door of my Riad in the Medina by Karim. Karim is an excellent and knowlegeable guide! Not only did he grow up in the Medina he also knows all the places to get authentic goods such as rugs and leather goods (Seddik Fès Cuir) at a fair price. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller going through the large and bustling Medina with him. I highly recommend! Thank you Mohammed and Karim for an excellent experience!
