We had a fantastic private tour with Muhammad. The tour was a mix of travelling by air-conditioned car and going on foot. We got to see so many sights, including the Bab Boujloud, the old town city walls, the Jewish quarter, the royal palaces and a panoramic view of the whole city from the Borj Sud to name but a few. At the Art D'Argile, we found out about the traditional ceramic craft. There was a shop but no pressure to buy - but considering the vast choice, there is something for everyone. In the medina, we discovered more of the history of Fes and the many many artistic and cultural sights. Muhammad's expert guidance was first class. And he was happy to adapt the itinerary to our interests and needs. One of our party needed to take a slower pace, and he couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful to make it a great experience for everyone. When the company discovered that getting in and out of the car was a little difficult for that person, the manager Hamza came himself with a different car which was much easier to get into - which was very much appreciated. We did some shopping on the tour and Muhammad was so helpful in helping us get a fair price. Our tour was fantastic - can't recommend it enough!!

The tour was led by Yassin and included all the main sites in the Medina. We visited a beautiful wood working gallery owned by a family going back generations (bought some beautiful pieces). Felt we could trust the owner in that we were getting good prices. Also visited an embroidery shop, a spice shop, a bakery, and the tannery of course. Excellent lunch set in a palace. We visited the mosaic tile place/factory the day before with Hamza - as well as serval sights and view points outside the Medina (royal palace, Jewish cemetery, royal garden). Hamza is very knowledgeable about Fez and its history and culture. He grew up in the Medina - we had a very knowledgeable and hospitable guide! Finally we asked to visit the American Fondouk where working donkeys and mules get free veterinary care. Hamza happily agreed and took us there himself, sharing in our love of animals and caring about their welfare So worthy and inspiring! Thanks Hamza!
This tour is advertised as a full day tour with a guide throughout. The first half in the market was good however we were not given the option to go into the craft museum.l which is on the iternary. We asked about the ladies making bread on the round stones and said we would see it later and he would explain it and then it never happened. Same for the dying of material, said we will go a different way and never got to see it. After a quick lunch at a local fast food stand we met the driver with our guide and drove a few minutes to the blue gate where the guide left. He appeared to be in a rush all day to leave and suspect he has booked a different tour for the afternoon. The driver was just a driver and not a guide, so even though we paid for a full day guided tour it is not what we received as we did not have a guide for the second half of the day. We were pretty confused and it completely impacted the second half of the tour. As this tour was not as advertised and we felt ripped off it I can only give a low score.
We had an amazing tour of Fes with Ahmed, our guide who spoke great English (he speaks many languages). We specifically picked this tour company because we wanted to get as much history and detail of not just Fes but the Moroccan and Muslim culture as possible. Ahmed started off asking if there was anything specific we wanted to do or see. I told him I haven't tried spiced Moroccan coffee yet. He took us to a street cart where a young man was making Moroccan coffee. He was heating up the coffee in sand and it was truly delicious! It was so good, I had to go back on my last day in Fes to have one more cup. We learned so much from Ahmed as he took us through the Medina, especially how to understand the various signs to indicate if it will pass through or dead end, information that would have been very useful when we went to the other cities, prior to Fes. Not only was the information Ahmed provided interesting but he would include funny stories or facts. He was great at getting us to the front of a group at popular sites so we could see better (I’m very short so I greatly appreciated not having to try to see around tall people in front of me). Ahmed took us to a wonderful lunch that served a very delicious chicken tagine which my friend and I both agreed was the best chicken tagine we had eaten so far. Ahmed also helped me to negotiate 2 purchases which I greatly appreciated. Both my friend and I also appreciated that Ahmed didn't try to talk us into buying any of the products from the artisan shops he took us to. We were very interested in how the hand made products were made but didn't have the space to purchase the beautiful artisan products Morocco is famous for. By the way, this tour was during Ramadan and Ahmed apologized to us after lunch because he said he was slower than normal since hasn’t eaten or drank anything all day. I told him he has nothing to apologize for because he has been a great guide, his pace was perfect. If it is possible to give him a rating of 10 instead of a 5 I would. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and you are lucky if you get him as a guide!
Excellent and professional tour of Fes’ artisans and craftsmanship - our guide Youssef taught us many things. Highly recommend
I had a tour of the Fez medina with Mr. Yassine, and I highly recommend it. He's a very kind and professional person, passionate about his culture. He took me around the Fez medina and beyond, without the pressure of having to buy, which I feared because of comments of tourists en videos pon social media. Yassine speaks English and Spanish very well. I felt safe the whole time. Sadly I can not upload a picture.
Private tour with great guide and driver. They were very helfull, especially since my son started to have stomack problems during the tour.
My mom and I had the greatest privilege of being on a tour led by Soufian (driving tour around Fes) and Yassin (walking tour in Fes Medina). Firstly, I wanted to say the biggest thank you to both for exceeding our expectations and putting a lot of care into their explanations of the beautiful city, we felt so privileged to be shown around by them. The tour was very informative and they both had great, warm and kind personalities. A massive thank you to Hamza as well, who is the owner of Bek Ben Travel, a truly kind person who clearly cares deeply about his work and the people who book with his company. I would highly recommend Bek Ben Travel to anyone visiting Morocco. I will be telling all of my friends and family about them when I return to Australia. So happy!
This tour was exceptional and Yah was amazing!!! Highly recommend he was funny and knew all the history of Morocco 🇲🇦 i would definitely book again.
the guide was kind, professional and exhaustive in his explanations, he was never boring or heavy,. I recommend feZ and above all I recommend our guide.
Wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide who managed the time at each of the sites very well. You also visit several historical sites all in one day and would recommend comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking. Was an overall wonderful experience
Our guide, Muhammad, was very knowledgeable! I was able to see ordinary private houses through the countless doors in the old town, and learn about the structure of the city and places that I couldn't go to without a guide, which was very satisfying! ! In the first half, we walked around town, and in the second half, they took us to a tannery and a shop selling leather goods, metal products, and textile fabrics. At all of the shops, we were able to explain how to make the products and observe the craftsmanship, and there were no forced sales. If you don't want something, just say to Muhammad, ``I don't need it, so I want to leave,'' and you can leave without offending anyone, and if you want something, just tell Muhammad and he'll help you negotiate! ! I think it's a great experience because you can really shop at your own pace and see things being made. Lunch was delicious and fresh, and I was taken to a kind person. Thank you for your generous efforts even though it must have been difficult during the day during Ramadan! it's recommended!
Mustafa was just amazing. He knows the history of Fez inside out. Thanks to him we felt and saw the craftmanships in this amazing city. Without Mustafa it would not have been possible to understand and discover the immense wealth displayed through the architecture. He also recommended a fantastic restaurant where we all enjoyed a delicious traditional meal. All in all I thoroughly recommend Mustafa - THE BEST GUIDE EVER!!!!
My husband Willem and me were on a kind of private tour , we were the only guests. Out driver Hamza, who already took us from the airport, was the driver that day, candcaliur personal guide in the medina was Ahmed,ca very nice and patient man who told us about a lot of interesting things in the medina and the craftsmanship, the riads and the people. Also he showed us lots of interesting gates( the golden gate and the Blue Gate) and told us the reasons they were build. It was also very nice that he could explain things to the people in the shops, what we wanted to buy or wat we wanted to say... Hamza brought us to our hotel on the first day, brought us to a restaurant with singers and dancers on our last day and told us about everything to do and not to do when we were alone in the town. He was very caring and nice! And both of the guides talked English perfectly!! We had a great time thanks to them!! This is the second review I write, unfortunately I can not upload the photographs in this site!! Very sorry!
I had a wonderful time on the FEZ Cultural and Artisanal Private Full Day Tour inside medina. The tour was very well organized and informative. I learned a lot about the history, culture, and craftsmanship of Fes. The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He showed me the most authentic and high quality places to see the pottery, rugs, textiles, and spices. He also helped me get the best deals on the souvenirs I wanted to buy. The tour was a great way to explore the colorful and lively medina of Fes. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real Fes.
The visit was wonderful, I didn't believe that Fez could be such a magnificent city, we visited the medina, a large area made up of several quarters, it is considered the oldest of Fez, its market contains important handicrafts and decorations, I asked our guide and driver Mr Youssef to take us to the museum of armes, this museum is brilliant, it contains very beautiful historical pieces that only by looking at them I understood a great history and event. Mr Youssef's service was perfect, he's a kind and honourable man who offered us a beautiful day thanks to his professionalism.
A tour with our driver Mr Ali who accompanied us, he was very helpful and showed us some beautiful places, I loved the Andalusian bank, when we arrived I noticed that is characterised by the originality of its religious buildings and the craftsmanship of its inhabitants. One of the most important landmarks in the Andalusian quarter is the Andalusian Mosque, built between 859 and 860 and characterised by its striking green and white minaret. The Andalusian Mosque is the ideal place to start exploring this historic quarter, wandering its narrow streets and discovering some of the medersas built nearby in the early 14th century.
Fés may be special because of its historic centre and the preservation of its historical heritage, not only to visit, but this heritage is still alive. We visited Place Seffarine, where one of the oldest trades in Fés, that of the boilermaker, has been preserved to this day. Although Place Seffarine is best known for its boilermakers, you can also discover prestigious monuments such as the Quaraouiyine library and the Seffarine madrasa. Boilermakers have been working with copper since time immemorial, producing items such as teapots, trays, pots and other vessels in red copper. Not to mention the excellent service provided by Mr Hamza, who guided and accompanied us throughout the tour; he's very helpful and knows how to create a great moment on the tour.
We loved the city of Fez, it was magnificent the tour, the departure was from our hotel, with a car air conditioned and well equipped, our chaffeur and also guide slaoui accompanied us to the medina, a famous large market of traditional crafts, then we visited the university al qarawyine, a beautiful university dating back to the early Middle Ages, I liked its decoration and architecture, which resembles more a palace than a university. The meals served in the restaurants were delicious, a beautiful traditional cuisine that you must try, I highly recommend this tour.
I decided to take this trip right after arriving in Fez to get to know the city better and enjoy it more and I was not disappointed, it was a tour that included everything necessary and beautiful in the city, the beautiful streets and market of the medina, the historic university of Qarawiyine and other more beautiful sites that I just got to know to visit them later. I would like to thank the service of Mr Ali, who accompanied us well and explained everything about the sites and the city, so that at each stop he advised us where to go and what to visit.
Very helpful person who respects schedules in addition to his smile and sense of humour. The vehicle is correct and contains the necessary elements of comfort. In addition to his knowledge of the routes and his mature driving, hamza will never cease to impress you with his rich culture of the wonderful country of Morocco. We had special requests, not all of which were easily met, and even with some additional and unforeseen challenges, everything we asked for (and more) was provided. our guide, Hamza, quickly answered our many questions as we began to plan the trip and provided a perfect detailed itinerary.
This tour is perfect for visitors who want to discover the most important sites of the city and then return to them during their stay. Our tour was guided by our driver, Mr Slaoui, a good man who knows the city well and the most important and beautiful sites. We visited Dar Edbagha, a large traditional workshop where leather is dyed in the traditional way, and other workshops where clothes and shoes are made by hand. It was an experience of using new methods and cultures that I loved and I recommend visitors to explore the city of Fez.
I was amazed how a city can offer such a great experience, we took a tour with friends with the driver Mr Ali who took us in an air-conditioned and equipped car, to the most beautiful sites of the city, I loved the market and the streets of the medina, as well as the beautiful handicrafts made by hand, and then see the workshop where these products are made, a rich cultural day of discovery of the beautiful culture of Fès.
my profession is photographer so i'm always looking for where to find art, i went to fes because of the beautiful handicrafts found in its traditional riad. i qualified my visit as magical, i was touched by the beautiful colours and drawings on the mosaics that cover the walls and floors, this beautiful work of art is found more in historical sites like the qarawiyin university and other beautiful sites; I would like to thank Mr Ali our guide and driver for his beautiful and professional service, he was very passionate to let me take the pictures I wanted and showed me other more beautiful sites that deserve to be saved as a souvenir.
the most important visit of my life, i loved the city, the streets of the medina with the small traditional shops that present beautiful handicrafts, built a beautiful image of art. i visited the university al qarawiyin, which represents a very old university and is always a destination for students of religious sciences, well organised and i felt its historical gravity that comes from the sight of its decorated walls and its traditional construction and very beautiful. Youssef, our driver, continued to guide us, suggesting restaurants with delicious traditional dishes, it was a wonderful day.
As much as a foreign tourist, I have always been curious to visit the original cultures of North Africa, Morocco presents a beautiful distination to discover, and of course Fes, presents the common point and the conclusion of the Moroccan culture; I decided to discover the city after settling in with bekben travels, there's no better than a professional who knows the city well to guide me and direct me to the most attractive sites, my opinion was finally right,
I would like to thank you for this professional tour of Fez, which included a real discovery of the specific elements of the city, it was like a historical and touristic conclusion, first of all the departure was on time, with a comfortable and well equipped vehicle, we visited the historical monuments, we walked in the traditional markets, which contain wonderful products and handicrafts, carpets, shoes, bags, vases and decorative paintings...... We also went to see where these products are made, with traditional tools, we had the opportunity to talk to the workers and see up close how the art is made. Mr Youssef, our driver and guide, knew everything about this tour, he is generous and professional, we felt at ease with him.
The day in Fes was interesting, it's not just a simple city, but a great book of history and culture, the traditional markets in the medina contain many crafts and products that testify to the roots of Fes, in clothing, buildings, streets and traditional textile workshops that use techniques very intelligent and ancient, spirituality is very strong in the city, there are mosques, university whose age exceeds 10 century. Mr. Youssef our guide is a professional driver and knows the city well, he doesn't leave out any detail without talking and explaining, we learned a lot and had a lot of fun that day, thank you.

i never thought that fes city can be in that deep culture and amazing history, i learned so much and enjoyed the day in the best places, traditional souks, and artisan product, youssef our guide was a good listener and advisor, it was a good tour,
Hamza is amazing! He gave us a beautiful tour around the new town and took us to the king’s palace, a panoramic view of Fès, the best coffee and pastry place, a ceramic and tile shop, and tannery. We only had a half day with Hamza but wish we had a whole one! He was so kind and knowledgeable. His car was new and clean, driving felt safe, always had water for us, and truly went above and beyond. Not only did he treat my son with the care and kindness of his own, but he came back to our riad after a long day to drop off a special Pokémon card he gave him earlier in the morning. 10/10 would come to Fès to see Hamza again and will definitely recommend him to all our friends.
we had a great trips with our staf of oprint team we was so happy with the service driver so kind thank you bekben travel

Everything is perfect
A beautiful discovery of the medina with a passionate guide A big thank you to my guide for his professionalism, his kindness, and his attentiveness. Having grown up in the medina, he knows it intimately, which makes the visit lively and authentic. Traveling alone, I particularly appreciated his kind accompaniment and his valuable advice. Thanks to him, I felt safe and I was able to fully enjoy this discovery. A very beautiful experience, I warmly recommend him!
We had a tour with Hamzid yesterday. It was good, informative and quickly explored all corners/markets of Fes. However, the guide was quite monotonous and told the "important facts" and was calm afterwards. Also only on request was the guided tour to the Jewish quarter etc. carried out for which a transfer by car is necessary. Overall good but expandable. I hope it was only an isolated incident, as the company was in itself well rated, so I booked it.
Our experience in Fez was absolutely unforgettable thanks to our guides Hamza, Adil and Sufyan. Their Service is impeccable from beginning to end. Each of them was passionate about sharing the fascinating history of the medina, its traditions and its well-kept secrets. Their kindness, professionalism and availability allowed us to fully enjoy the visit, without ever feeling rushed. They know every corner of the city and have guided us carefully, giving us both clear explanations and authentic anecdotes that make the discovery even more vivid. We also greatly appreciated their practical advice and concern to answer all our questions. Thanks to them, we discovered Fes with a new and meaningful look. I highly recommend Hamza, Adil and Sufyan to all those who wish to explore this magical city in the best conditions!
Extremely interesting visit with lots of explanations. We were able to discover the medina as we never could have done alone. We were able to discover the different craft sectors. The only downside is the restaurant, which is more or less imposed at lunchtime during the visit, which remains a place for tourists.
Very good experience with Hamza, we don't see the time passing, the opportunity to approach different aspects of Moroccan culture. Highly recommended.
