Rahim gave us an incredible tour of Fes! The tour was the best way to both explore the medina and learn more about the history and culture of Fes. Rahim was a fantastic guide - providing tons of interesting facts about the way the medina and its houses were constructed while also showing us the most important areas / monuments of the medina. We also appreciated that while Rahim showed us inside a few key shops (e.g., tannery, hammam spa), he made sure we did not feel any pressure to buy anything while there. That said, he was happy to stop when we did want to buy some souvenirs! He also respected our time constraints and altered his tour so we could still see everything within our shorter window. I'd recommend Rahim and his tour to anyone visiting Fes - it was the perfect way to start our Fes trip!

We had a great, almost 4h tour with Abdourahim. His calm and friendly manner is a welcome contrast to the bustle of the Medina and although we saw all the main attractions, it was his knowledge and insights into the history of the city, pointing out landmarks and little quirks of the place that really made this tour special. Absolutely recommend it as there is no way you would feel as connected staying in Fes without someone showing you around and I can’t imagine a better guide than Abdou.

We booked 5 Viator tours for our trip in Morocco and Abdou R. was by far the best tour guide! We are very appreciative for his knowledge, flexibility, and history he shared of Fes. He was very flexible and took us wherever we wanted to go. He never strung us along to a merchant that provides him a commission which we greatly appreciated. He shared pictures he took that provided context to sites he was showing us (such as a merchant cutting tile to create the beautiful designs on the architecture or The River of Freedom during the winter when it can flood). Being from Fes, he was able to take us to a great local spot in the Medina for lunch and it was my husband’s favorite meal the entire trip! He also took many photos of us without hesitation. Abderrahim was an amazing tour guide. Knowing the medina would be quite loud, he gave us earpieces so we could hear him. He taught us a lot about Fes and its history. Also, he showed us a lot of interesting places and even waited for us while we shopped. Overall, this tour was the best way to end our Morocco trip.

Fes is tucked with thousands of alleyways and side streets within the old Médina. It can be quite daunting to take on your own, time consuming and navigate by yourself. Rahim isn’t just a tour guide, he feels like a friend you have from Fes. Which ultimately gives you that authentic and local experience of Fes. He was not like one of those boring, generic touristic guides. Rahim managed to fascinate and capture my attention every step of the way with interesting stories and fun facts and he knows every single street and shortcuts through the Médina. His English was absolutely perfect and had I not booked him, my Fes experience wouldn’t be as raw & full as it is. He was so helpful in giving so many tips and insights when we asked where to buy certain souvenirs, spices and goods, how much we should pay, and even great local fares to eat. Rahim was so absolutely honest and accommodating he even knew how to take me to a particular rooftop vantage I wanted to view of the Chouara Tannery. Thank you so much Rahim!! After a daunting experience navigating the Medina in Marrakech on our own, we decided to seek out a guide to take us through the old city of Fes. Our Riad hosts recommended Abdou and we are happy to recommend him to others as a knowledgable and considerate guide. Abdou was able to take us through a broad variety of areas in the Medina from residential neighbourhoods to various commercial areas as well as those streets and squares that are dedicated to specialized crafts, foods and services. Our experience was significantly enriched at every turn by his familiarity with and extensive knowledge of the old city, its history and development over the centuries and current status / implications as a UNESCO Heritage site. We were able to move at a comfortable pace and to stop at many important, compelling and beautiful locations including the Nejjarine Fountain and Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts, the University of Al-Karaouine, the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum and the Hammam Mernissi & Spa. Abdou was able to answer our many questions about the political history and the social norms of life in general of Fes / Morocco. All in all, it was a very positive experience and absolutely the best way to explore the Medina.

A fascinating and very interesting journey from the 19th century to the 8th century with a very good English French Spanish Arabic polyglot guide. For my part, I found a last-minute place in English. The guide will explain the history of Fez its customs. You can walk in the souk safely and especially how to orient yourself alone in the souk and which alley take and choose the right doors. A 10-minute coffee shopping break on the place de seraffine where you can see the making of handicrafts in copper, wrought iron or silver metal... A recommendation for visiting the tannery plan a mask with a little perfume or essential oils as the branch of mint leaves will not be enough to cover the foul smells from the terrace of a leather craft store. The owners of the place welcome you without forcing you to buy their products. For my part I found the products a little expensive but your scholarship allows you to work the market economy. Good visit to you I paid 10€ the guided tour to you to search well on Google and compare prices from 10€ to 40€ for the same visit

We can warmly recommend the visit with Abderrahim. He knows Fez as his pocket and gives excellent historical perspectives to the promenade. A wonderful moment. He speaks excellent English! Visit with 2 children (5 and 7 years old).
