Unexpectedly interesting and enjoyable multi day trip. I really enjoyed almost all the stops and the experience.

This group tour was amazing, it far exceeded my expectations. The value for money was great! The communication was really good. I was given information on WhatsApp and any queries I had was responded to promptly. The tent in the desert was of very high quality and we only booked a standard one so it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel room was very good too. Breakfast and dinner was included whilst staying in the desert and the hotel. The long distance travelling was great, the regular breaks were useful and the driver was accommodating. During the long drives, we’d also get little tours such as in villages, in the studio in Ouzazarte, and also stops in the Atlas Mountains where we could see monkeys. So essentially you get all that travel, accommodation, food, sightseeing and tours (for 3 days), for £150. Can’t argue with it!! I would highly recommend this.
Perfect trip! Excellent drivers, well-prepared guides, interesting venues, lifetime experiences. Thank you very much!
We booked this trip for my family - 2 adults and 3 kids. Every part of the trip exceeded our expectations. The desert tents were amazing and comfortable. The van was spacious/clean/cool. The hotel nice and comfortable, and the sites were amazing. But, best of all was our driver Hassan. We spent 3 days with him as our guide. He taught us everything there is to know about Morocco and all of its cultures. All in all, this was an unforgettable experience.
The trip is long, so prepare yourself, but Hassan, the driver is so flexible and fun that will make your trip great! The experience shouldn't be missed !
Fantastic tour! Definitely recommend, our first guide Driss was incredibly friendly and informative. The desert was the highlight and had tall, beautiful dunes. We especially enjoyed sandboarding and the camel ride. Be sure to bring a decent amount cash though because you will have to buy lunch and drinks and nowhere accepts cards. Also be prepared for the camel drivers to ask for money for pictures or try to guilt you into buying an overpriced souvenir
Had a great time with an excellent driver and team on the ground! I enjoyed the camel ride and found the accommodations to be comfortable. I didn’t need three days in the desert, but would be great if you want ATV rides and other desert excursions.
We went on the 3days Fez to Marrakech with 1 night in Merzouga, 1 night in Ouarzazate. I would highly recommend this trip and this tour provider. 3t Travel is a legit company! Our tour guide Mohamed was friendly and competent, and driver Hassan actually checked the oil, water, and tire pressure on the trip. That gave me and my husband confidence, although few, if any, passengers may have noticed. They picked us up from our riad in Fes and delivered us to our hotel in Marrakech, all part of the service. Our accommodations were very good in the desert and in Ouarzazate. Although Merzouga and the camel ride was the highlight of the tour, we actually made so many stops along the way. I brought the printed itinerary with me, and I can vouch that they stopped at every stop indicated. In particular, we enjoyed the Fall trees in Ifrane and the entertaining Macaque monkeys in the cedar forests, the hike to Todra Gorges, the tour at Atlas Studios, and the side trip to Ait Ben Haddou. It may seem expensive, but for transportation, two nights' accommodations, camel ride, sightseeing, 4 meals, and a great guide, the price/value is excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Oh, and I read in a review that their van was not air-conditioned. Actually, we had the same issue. The front seats were quite comfortable, and the guide didn't realize that it was hot for the passengers until I asked him to turn on the air, which he gladly did. Sometimes, our discomfort can be fixed by simply asking...
This trip was amazing! From the moment we were picked up in Fes to when we were dropped off in Marrakech I cannot fault this tour! Our guide Driss was incredible, he was friendly, approachable and informative! Providing constant information and facts on Moroccan culture and history! I cannot recommend this trip enough! For sure the highlight of our holiday!
it's totally worth it since you get to see many places for a very good price, and the road from Fes to Marrakesh is very long anyway. Oumaima was a fantastic guide, speaks perfect english and has a lot of patience and useful information. I would recommend the tour and the guide to anyone. thanks oumaima
Hamza guided my friends and I from Fes to Marrakech via the desert over 4 days 3 nights. The tour was meticulously planned and our guide, Hamza was so knowledgeable. This is a must do bucket list trip if you are visiting Morocco! Highly recommend the 4 days to see all the attractions Morocco has to offer. Hamza had excellent communication speaking great English, entertaining our group daily and also informing us of the endless sites we came across. Hamza is a fantastic driver which made our group feel safe and reassured throughout the mountainous commute to Marrakech. He catered the tour to our preferences, allowing us to create our own time schedule and pick and choose which attractions to stop at along the way. Hamza always made sure we were comfortable and was always ready with his lovely air conditioned vehicle (very necessary during 40 degrees Moroccan days) in the mornings and picking us up after tourist attractions. I highly recommend requesting for Hamza as your guide as he was phenomenal. The desert, accommodation and food along this tour were unmatched and the entire group agreed that it has become our most memorable holiday.
The driver soufiane is so kind and helpful. Our italian friend accidentaly fall in sand boarding soufiane bring her to the hospital although she said no. He insisted.
Our Driver/Tour Guide Soufiane is Nice, Helpful & Excellent. Recommendable to Our Family & Friends..
Absolutely loved my time on this trip. Soufiane was the best driver, taking great care of us, with lots of stops and teaching us the local tips and tricks along the way. Accommodation was very nice both nights. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who is considering the desert. You won't regret it!
We had an amazing trip to Merzouga from Marrakesh. Few things stood out: our tour guide, Mustafa, was incredibly caring, thorough, and knowledgeable about all things Morocco. Also, the first night we spent in a hotel was absolutely amazing. The views, service, and food were of great value. One thing to be aware of is that the second night (Merzouga night) barely has a shower (ours didn’t work and we had one towel for two people). Otherwise the tour was fantastic especially because our guide was great and the scenery was too!
We had a great time with 3 days 2 nights stay in during the Desert Trip. Our driver, Soufiane was friendly and always on time. The hotels provided were good for a tour standard. Unfortunately, it was windy in the desert during our stay, but nevertheless we appreciate the Berber hospitality.
Great experience thanks to our driver Soufiane! He spoke fluent English, French and Arab. It was very easy to communicate with him and he tailored the tour to us asking if we wanted to see our skip certain sites that were not that great. We skipped the Cinema Museum since it cost €8 to enter and the group didn't think it was worth it. Soufiane was always on time and very friendly. He drove safe and calmly. If we wanted to stay longer at a site he would wait for us and stopped several times so I could get a coffee to go. I highly recommend this company and ask for Soufiane to be your driver!
Day one of our tour started great, pickup was on time and efficient, and we were introduced to our fantastic driver Soufiane and our four other co-travellers. Travel went smoothly, and we enjoyed all of the stops along the way. (Don't forget snacks for the monkey visit!) At the dunes, we were promptly checked in, started our camel ride, but unfortunately missed the sunset due to a minor sandstorm! (Made the experience all the more 'DUNE' like!) Arrived at the overnight camp with fantastic rooms(luxury tents!) and dinner served shortly after. Great cultural entertainment around a fire and the most stunning and peaceful sunrise in the morning before breakfast! (Don't sleep in!) Day two was smooth sailing with very informative stops on route to Ourzazate where the hotel was great(pool and bar!). The final day was just as great with interesting stops and a timely arrival in Marrakesh. All of this being said, our trip exceeded every one of our expectations thanks to one person alone; our driver(and new friend!) Soufiane! Although we could only put five, he deserves a million stars! Soufiane was so professional, personable, efficient, informative, and mostly, kind! Hope you get Soufiane on your tour!
It was amazing experience thanks for everyone helps us for this unique experience it was all only amazing from the organization the guide and accommodation the desert experience was so special and our guide hachem was only perfect so informative and helpful all time
travelled into Morroco from South Africa with a friend and were fetched by Hachem from the airport and over the course of the next few hours while we drove to Fez we peppered him with every question that popped into our heads about Morocco, the history, the culture, the people the religion, you name it we asked it and he answered as best he could (which showed us the huge depth and breadth of knowledge he has about his country). I hadn’t anticipated how much I would enjoy the actual driving part of the trip as we met up with two other pairs of people travelling around and for a few days we travelled together. Some even extending their trips to keep us all together - we built a community/ a family in Morocco despite our diverse backgrounds. The actual trip in the desert, the camel ride, the dunes of the Sahara, the luxury of the tented campsite, the unexpected quad bike ride, haggling for a beautiful Carpet, the ruins, mosque’s and the changing countryside and all of the incredible people and sights and scenes. Morocco blew my mind. We were lucky to have extended our trip to continue with our fabulous, kind and humorous guide Hachem who continued to enrich our experience across other cities and regions where other local guides were arranged to teach us more and show us more of Morocco than we would have been able to without that local insight. I would love to come back God willing, and will hold this time in a special place in my heart. I didn’t expect the kindness, the gentleness and the playful sense of humour we found amongst these very proud people. I’ve left part of my heart here. If you are in two minds about this trip, don’t be. Embrace the experience, come and immerse yourself in the glory of Africa and Morocco.
I was looking for a while which tour operator to go with since there are so many out there. Really pleased I decided to go with these guys. Tour was excellent, covered a lot of ground in 3 days. There was 6 of us to start with, then 4 for the second part of the trip after desert (2 went on with a different programme). The guide Chichamo (Hicham) was fantastic- very accommodating, always there to answer any questions and just a fun person to travel with. (Really impressed how many languages he speaks as well!) Stay in the desert is an absolute highlight- camel ride , sunset over the sand dunes, quad bikes (optional add on but totally worth it) - unique memories for life! The tents are also amazing, massively exceeded my expectations. Apart from the desert we saw variety of landscapes and little towns in the Atlas mountains, true insight into local culture. Highly recommend the tour and the guide to anyone out there who's looking for one.
With family we went on tour from Fes to Marrakech with one night stand in tent in the desert and second day stand in hotel in Quarzazate. We went over Atlas mountains over diverse landscapes. We stopped in Cedar forrest where there are some monkey families and you can take pictures. Kids loved it but be careful and don't to go to close to young ones since they can be very protective (kind of obvious:)). Later in the afternoon kids loved camel ride and loved the desert. In February it can be quite cold in the morning in the desert. Second day we visited Meknes and then in the middle of nowhere searching for fossil and we found some seashells. A lot of driving in car so can be a bit boring for young children (7 and 9 and not speaking Eng). We visited many places and the whole trip is great and a lot to see, but what made it excellent is driver Abdulah - he is very knowledgeable, and know a lot about history of Morocco and the agriculture and in general he was a very nice tour guide and not only driver. So special thanks to Abdulah who made this trip something to remember! Becouse we liked Abdulah some much we went also to Essouira with same agency and him and it was again great.
This tour has you driving from Fez to a small camp near the dunes. It's not near Merzouga town or Hassi Labad. The first day gets you to the dunes, the second day you have most of the day in the hotel to yourself. There are no taxis so besides walking to the dunes by yourself, there's nothing to do. I ended up playing cards with the workers at the hotel. In the winter, staying an extra day at the hotel is likely the only way to ensure you'll be at the dunes before sunset. The drive is long and by the time you're on a camel on your way to the dunes, the sun is setting. Do the three day tour in the winter to ensure sunset
My friend and I signed up for this trip mainly to see the Sahara, but soon realized how amazingly the format of the trip allowed us to not only meet, but also bond with like minded travellers. We got to see a lot of the natural formations of the country that a simple visit to the big tourist cities could not provide. The history was minimally conveyed through the tour, but it felt like it was the road trip we needed, and our driver, Morad, was similarly minded and appreciated the greater beauty of nature. The camp in merzouga was not over the top, and the employees there were generous and patient with our inevitable ignorance as visitors. Lying down under the stars in the vast dunes after dinner, there were no distinction of roles, and as a whole group we appreciated the international and universal connections humans have with each other. Highly recommend this visit with those capable of being open minded and open hearted.
This was probably the most complete tour we could find online given time constraints (3 days, 2 nights). The stay in Erg Chebbi was magical and all the stops along the way and the following days allowed to see the main highlights in the area without having to worry. Our driver Mourad was a great guy! Made our trip very enjoyable with his stories and “dj” skills. Always ready to share some info about the visited locations. Punctual, friendly, and good English. Totally recommend it!
The 7 hr trip from fes to merzouga and then the 10 hr trip from merzouga to marrakech in the minivan can be very tiring. This is because the drivers never switch on the AC, they may leave the windows opened and the noise can tire you off. Morocco Trek Safaris claim that the vans are climate controlled, not so at all. They need to do quality control of their trips.
The overall trip was ok. The standard tent was in disrepair, lighting was very dim, shower drain was plugged and so not a good experience during the shower. transport was by minivans and none of the drivers switched on the AC as per itinerary, so the latter is really deceiving. gets really hot in the vans. This tour operator needs to check that the itinerary is being followed.
at first I was a bit afraid this tour was a scam because there were no reviews or the name of the operator, but the pick up was on time, and we did everything the itinerary suggested, its just a very long journey from fez to the desert and then the desert to marrackesh, I would recomend doing the other way around
Amazing 6 days trip from Marrakech to Fes with fantastic stops and overnight in the Sahara desert. excellent accommodation and good food, our tour guide Ali and Mohamed were well informed, friendly and showed us the best parts of Morocco. highly recommend it 🇲🇦
Fueron 3 días magníficos. Hassan es muy buen guía y conductor. Conoce muy bien el lugar y la gente de las diferentes paradas. Experiencia única. Recomendamos hacer esta excursión con Hassan!
We did the desert tour from Fez to Marrakech, sleeping one night in the desert camp in Merzouga and one night in a hotel in Ourzazate. For me, the trip to the desert was one of the highlights of the Morocco trip and it was really worth it! However, you have to be aware that you will spend a lot of time in the car, but that wasn't a bad thing as you stop every 1-2 hours to look at something. In addition, it gets incredibly cold at night in the desert (we were there at the beginning of March) (around 3-4 degrees) - especially because you sleep in a tent in the desert camp - so pack warm things ;)
It was amazing Best experience ever I recommend 100% The guides are great No problem just perfect! We will surely repeat this unique experience
Absolutely a tour to recommend! We spend three wonderful days, visiting unique places in the world. From Fes to Marrakesh through the desert you can't help but be enchanted. The desert is a magical experience, the camel ride at sunset a unique experience. The desert tent we slept in is a real luxury room. The dinner, the company, the show and the management of the kids on campus were extraordinary. In the three days we covered many kilometers and saw many villages, cities, markets, canyons and wonderful landscapes. We were accompanied by two wonderful drivers Abdul and Mohamed. With Mohamed the journey was pure joy, a person with a contagious smile, he made us laugh, listen to music and made the journey in the minibus light and fun. This tour, in addition to giving us the opportunity to have unique experiences, introduced us to wonderful people with immense hearts.
Experience not to be missed! The driver was very attentive to fulfill all our needs (including delays). We were picked up from Fez and before arriving in the desert we made several stops in very nice locations. Once in the desert we slept one night in an equipped tent: bathroom, shower etc. and we took a camel ride + added the quad experience (highly recommended €70 as a couple, €50 alone) and sand board with table offered by the structure. The following day we stayed in a very nice and international hotel before arriving on the last day in Marrakech. Despite the temperature range, in the desert in August it is very hot even at night. Water is never included and must be purchased separately! It was very nice to do this trip with the guide Abdul.
We were a totally nice troupe and drove 3 days with our driver Soufiane through this beautiful country. Morocco is so multifaceted. Mountains. Lakes, gorges, desert, stone desert,....It was a unique experience. Soufiane is a super safe driver and fulfills every wish of his passengers. We couldn't have hit it better. I can only recommend this tour. It's really breathtaking. Hopefully you will get Soufiane as a driver, he is definitely the best. If I could give more stars I would.....so go ahead, book this great trip. He won't regret it.
Transfer from desert to marrakesh with mohamed driver. Safe guide, very nice and described very well the places we visited. Mohamed really helpful and attentive to needs. Ask for him!!!
Beautiful tour with Hachem guide all perfect from organization to cleanliness including various stops to admire incredible places
Tour organized very well with a friendly and very prepared guide (Mustapha), with an excellent level of English. Special mention for the night in the desert (I recommend the luxory tent) and for the guided tour, with a local guide, of the city of Rissani.
The guide Mohamed picked us up at the hotel in the morning and we followed to the Sahara desert, through the Atlas mountains. The landscapes are fantastic, with interesting stops along the way. In the late afternoon we arrived in the desert and riding the dromedaries to climb a dune and see the sunset. We spent the night in a tent with piped water and electric light. After dinner there was a presentation of typical music and dances. The next day we continued the ride through the mountains and visited a traditional market in the region. Finally, on the last day, we visited the Kasbah of Ourzazate, a very interesting place!
We are glad and grateful to have found this great organizer and decided to go on this 3-day tour. Everything went remarkably professional from the start. Immediately after booking, we were contacted directly via WhatsApp to confirm the pick-up at the hotel and to be available for questions. We could always contact Imane, the good soul in the office, in writing or by phone and always got a reliable response. The tour itself offers a very contrasting program and our rider Salim was fantastic!! At no time did we feel uncomfortable in the car, he is a great driver and wonderful guide who always had answers to our many questions, was always friendly, good-humoured and very patient. The camel ride through the dunes and the desert overnight were a unique experience that I would suggest to anyone. Also the visit to the market in Rissani was unique as it was completely authentic and untouristic. The many miles on the road were very entertaining and interesting because of the constantly changing environment. This tour is really highly recommended and offers an optimal program on the way between Fez and Marrakech. 10 out of 10 points from me and a big thank you to Imane, Salim and the whole team!!
