Well, I will start with the good points: nice stay in the Hotel Ouzazarte, nice buffet at the "desert", nice guide in Rissani, amazing driver and incredible group. Then: we have arrived at merzouga the sun was almost gone. The group made a 15m travel by camel in the imediaton of the tent. I have booked without travel in the camel due to allergies, and the team doesn't had solution and was very rude. I had to wait sited at the door of the camp. In the morning we have seen the sunrise at 6 am and at 7am we were leaving. The team of the desert tens had already picken up our things. People that were there to make sandboarding never did. The "desert", the dunes and Erg Chebbi were easily 2 hours away by foot or camel. Then, we have only stayed at Ou a arte, no time at all to visit the city. In Ait Ben Haddou we had 1h with a guide that made the tour running, no time to stop, see the streets, shop, water. It was running and just saying what movies were played there. Absolute non sense. Older people couldn't keep up the pace. So the travel was a total tourist trap, since the main goal of the trip is not definetly accomplished.

We had an amazing experience with Zaki as our driver from Fes to Marrakech. He made our journey so comfortable and enjoyable, stopping at the desert on the first day, Ouarzazate on the second day, and finally dropping us off safely in Marrakech on the third day. Zaki was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire trip. One of the ladies in our group was pregnant, and he was especially thoughtful with her, making sure to stop whenever she needed a break and always checking that she was comfortable. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and memorable journey. We truly appreciated his kindness, professionalism, and care. We highly recommend Zaki to anyone looking for a reliable and caring driver in Morocco! Thank you, Zaki, for making our trip so special! 🇲🇦❤️
Zaki did a great job as our driver and guide. Thanks to him it our group really did feel like a family. I can only recommend him and the agency!
Felt like a family trip! Zaki and Said were great tourguides and the money is definitely worth the experience! Would recommend to everyone.
If you have limited time but want to experience more than just Morocco’s main cities, this trip is a great way to do it. Travelling from Fes to Marrakech through the desert gives you the chance to see how dramatically the landscape changes along the way, while also getting a glimpse of different places, communities and ways of life across the country. What made the experience especially memorable, though, were the people. Our Guide, Zaki, and his assistant, Sait, were truly wonderful. They both spoke excellent English, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and brought such positive energy to the journey. We made several stops along the way, where they guided us and shared information not only about the sights, but also about the places we were passing through, everyday life and Moroccan culture. It made the experience feel much more connected to the country rather than simply moving from one destination to the next. When we encountered some unexpected and challenging weather conditions, they handled everything calmly and professionally, always making sure we felt safe. The people who accompany you and show you a country can make such a difference in how you experience and remember it. We are truly grateful to Zaki and Sait for their care, knowledge and positive energy. A beautiful experience and a great way to discover different sides of Morocco.
We truly enjoyed the 3 days tour!! It was well organised for the whole time. The vehicle had good AC, accommodations were nice both in the tent and hotel. Especially our guides Zaki and Said were very friendly, attentive and entertaining for the whole time!
My guide was perfect so I was really satisfied with this trip even though super hot weather and long journey during 3 days.
We recently completed the 3-day tour from Fez to Marrakech, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. The itinerary was well planned, giving us the opportunity to experience Morocco's diverse landscapes, Mountains, gorges to the unforgettable Sahara Desert. The desert experience itself was amazing, would totally recommend doing the quad biking in the Sahara. I had Zahra who wasn't there physically, but made sure to check in on me from time to time and always available to answer my questions and Said our tour guide always checking to see if we are good. We booked the luxury package and the accommodations were really good (we stayed at the luxury tent in the camp and Ksar Ben Youssef. We were treated like royalties at the Ben Youssef Hotel, very lovely place. The stops were interesting, and the entire tour was organized smoothly from start to finish. Prepare yourselves for a good amount of driving though, the bus was very comfortable and the road is impressively good (if you have visited other african countries you would understand), we didnt feel choked in. the breathtaking scenery and unique experiences along the way make it absolutely worthwhile. We met wonderful people, learned more about Moroccan culture, and created memories that will stay with us for a long time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see more of Morocco. A fantastic experience and excellent value for money. Everyone should plan to have this experience at least once.
This experience was definitely unforgettable. I went with my friends for our grad trip and we have no regrets! We definitely felt safe the whole time which was one of the most important aspects for us as well as having an awesome time. Our driver Zaki was the absolute best, we loved him!!
Zaki our driver and guide was absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful time with him! The sights were so beautiful and the Sahara was absolutely amazing. They set up the accommodations for you so you can relax and enjoy!
This review is for the part of the tour we rode with Zaki, on the first day from Fez to the desert. Zaki was an amazing guide during our ride from Fez to the desert. He was very helpful and informative throughout the drive, and he worked hard to make sure everyone was having a great time and was maximizing their experience on the trip. He also had a great sense of humor, which set the tone of a positive experience right from the start of our tour. During the trip, we misplaced something of value, and Zaki really went out of his way to help us find it. We are forever grateful to him for this help, but we also wanted to mention that Zaki helped lead the whole tour group to react to this situation with optimism and friendship, which drew the group closer. (In fact, we have stayed in touch with some of the group after the tour was over.) Finally, given the slight delay, Zaki focused on getting us to our destination on time so that we could ride the camels before sunset. When we did finally arrive at our destination in the desert, we were very sad to leave him as our driver, though we ended up getting a great driver for our second leg of the trip (desert to Marrakech) as well. The tour itself was an amazing time. On this leg of the itinerary (Fez to the desert), we enjoyed seeing the town of Ifrane (which really has a distinct feel from the rest of Morocco) and the very scenic drive through the Middle Atlas mountains and the Ziz valley. The camel ride was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we chose the luxury tent option which was nice due to having our own bathroom (but definitely not necessary for those traveling on more of a budget and willing to share facilities). The tour van fit about 7 people, and this size was a great balance of comfort and social interaction. The overall three-day tour was an experience of a lifetime, and we highly recommend anyone who is interested in using this method to get from Fez to Marrakech and see the desert. The only possible downside going with this company is that there can be a different group and guide for the first leg (Fez to desert) and the second leg (desert to Marrakech). However, in our case, this was not a problem and even was possibly a value add because we had amazing guides and fun companions on both legs of the trip. Finally, we really appreciated the flexibility of booking with this company because our riad in Fez was able to book the tour for us just a few days in advance. Other companies we explored were already booked, or perhaps even worse, not willing to commit to a tour at all until they had enough sign ups, which we viewed as too risky for our travel plans.
The tour overall was great - who can complain about seeing a sunset on a Camel in the Sahara desert! I chose the "luxury" option and had a private air-conditioned tent and bath - as good as any riad! An element that made the trip great was Zaki the driver - you spend three days in the van and so imperative to have a great driver! Zaki referred to all the passengers as "family" and as the days went by, we seemed to have morphed into one! Two days after the tour was over, I was walking outside the medina in Marrakech along a busy street and I hear a vehicle honk and someone yells my name. It was Zaki driving by - I wave back and smile: it was like seeing an old friend! Highly recommended!
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! Our driver Said Jamai made the trip into the dessert fun and easy, stopping along the way to let us take pictures and taking us to interesting places while telling stories, making jokes and playing great music while we were in the car. He brought a great energy to the trip. The camp we stayed at was great with more amazing staff and activities like a sunset camel ride and sitting around a fire listening to traditional music. The food was also incredible. Breakfast and dinner were included at the camp with a ton of options to choose from and during the drives in and out of the desert they stopped for lunch at places with great food for good prices. Overall this was an experience we will not forget and would recommend it to everyone!
We had a very pleasant tour. Our driver Jamai DJ (Said) was great, energetic and super attentive to everyone's needs, doing whatever he could to ensure everyone has a good time. Thanks to him our trip was full of smiles, music, good vibes and fun times. Would most certainly recommend Said to anyone looking to do a desert tour. Greetings from Romania :)
We had a great experience with Jamai DJ (Said)! We learned a lot, he was very attentive to everyone’s needs and provided us a great excursion through the desert!
The riding Cameron the exzellent Dinner and Musik in the campside
We had a great time in Morocco with Said. He provided a very intimate and engaging experience which seen all the major sights! Would highly recommend going with Said again
Our tour from Fes to Erg Chebbi was organized to perfection. A huge thank you to Said, our driver: he was much more than just a driver, sharing his deep knowledge of the area and taking us to breathtaking viewpoints. A special thanks for his advice and for helping us book a last-minute quad tour for the next morning; thanks to him, we experienced a stunning sunrise that we would have otherwise missed! The luxury camp was magical. The entire staff was professional and incredibly kind, even surprising me with an unexpected birthday cake under the stars—a gesture I will never forget. From the logistics to the warm hospitality, everything was flawless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic experience with top-tier service!
Said Jamai was perfect and good driver! He mase the tour very good!
Zaki was a great driver and full with information and has been very kind to us. He navigated the roads smoothly and also took very good care of us. We opted for a maximum 10 person vehicle and there was only us and another couple . There was no issues with our driver and I would give him 5/5. The reason of the review being 3/5 is because of the accommodations which was a big miss. We opted for luxury desert tent and the 2nd night hotel was La Perle De Sud. The pictures shown by the tour agency and reality is far from what was shown which was very disappointing . Firstly the luxury desert tent was not as it was described and we were not happy with it. Secondly there was no workable WiFi available . Food and activities were good. Secondly the hotel La Perle De Sud room was dirty and they were disorganised. When asked for extra pillows , reception answered I don’t know . We felt the activity and vice versa was good but the accommodation is extremely misleading and very disappointing not worth for what we paid for. Would recommend to book by Get your guide or other platform directly than directly with them at least you can complaint if there is any issues to the platform versus you have paid and not much which can bring up the issue on hand because you have paid directly to them.
Our driver Zaki is a great driver. He drove safely and carefully. Throughout the tour, he thought of everything on our behalf. He guided us and told us about the history of the places we visited. We enjoyed our 3-day desert tour very much.
We enjoy the tour overall, especially the guide Zaki who was excellent, great person and guide. There were two problems: 1. The tour exluded two stops because of weather, out of control, but they told us once the tour had started. 2. The bereber dancing and music, and in general the attention in the tents was not authentic and serious at all, the place was good though.
To describe this tour in one word: WOW! It was so cool, our driver/guide Zaki was the best guide ever, people like him still give me hope for this world! From the atlas mountains to the erg chebbi dunes, everything was amazing, would recommend everyone to visit, and one advice to the travelers: Talk to the driver, you will see how kindhearted and hardworking they are.
It was an amazing tour and I really enjoyed it. It was a truly unforgettable experience and something special to be part of. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. Our tour guide Zaki was an absolute star, knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. ksmk!
We already reviewed the transportation portion of this excursion. And our many emails to Imane at the office were handled beautifully. Overall, for the price, and quality of service, we think this is fair value, and would recommend it to others. Highlights included the quality of the tent in the desert (even at standard package with private tent/ensuite bathroom), both included dinners in Erg Chebbi and Ourzazate, as well as the breakfasts. Even the vegan was able to eat, after clarifying carefully with staff, because NO ONE in Morocco actually knows what a vegan can and cannot eat, despite them claiming to. There was sufficient time in Ait Benhadou, Atlas Studios, and the Dades Gorge for most people (we would have hiked the gorge if time permitted). And now for the negatives: Understanding that there are limited options for restaurants in isolated areas, you will be completely gouged for lunch on each day, because you are given a menu where you are essentially forced to choose a plated meal at about 150 dhs ($15.00 euros) per person, double or triple what it should cost in Morocco. You have no other choice. Vegan/vegetarian options are a terrible value. Bring food and be prepared to say no! On tour in Rissani, we loved the guide and kasbah, and then were brought to a cooperative, where we were forced to get a very long sales pitch about a million different items. It is so tiresome and unwelcome. We are not shoppers, and we don't care. This is so pervasive, we even had to endure a sales pitch while walking in the desert (we chose not to take the Camel ride), by our Berber guide Seriously. Even at the camp, while looking up at the beautiful stars, we were pitched a quad tour. Seriously. We wish there was a version of this trip that was only about history and culture. And this also applies to the Fes Medina tour, and Meknes/Volubilis tour, which we also did with 3T Travel. Case in point: we had 6 different stops for sales pitches on a 5-6 hour tour in Fez. It gets tiresome to say no. You only learn a little bit about the craft, and then they expect you to buy items at very high prices. The last thing that needs to improve is the communication about the day's events. Everybody we encountered, regardless of who they booked with, was confused about their daily program. We were all on a need-to-know basis. While it all worked out, it is not supposed to be a mystery tour. It is hard to relax, when you are not sure what is coming next. Again, we will recommend this tour and company, but a few simple changes would make it a 5 star experience.
Really good experience. Zaky was a great driver that change the Road because the shortest was closed due to bad weather conditions. He also explain us lot of things about Marocco and its culture. Thank you for this Amazing experience!!
We recently completed the 3D2N desert tour from Fes to Marrakech with 3T Travel Agency, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Every detail was well organised—from pick-up to accommodations and meals—making it a smooth and memorable journey for our group of six. The itinerary balanced sightseeing, cultural experiences and comfort perfectly. We especially enjoyed the stop at Todra Gorge, the camel ride into the Sahara at sunset, and the magical night under the stars at the desert camp. 🌟 Special Mention – Our Guide, MUSTAFA (6 stars if we could!) While the tour itself was fantastic, it was our guide, Mustafa, who made this trip truly exceptional. He went above and beyond in every way possible: • Genuine hospitality – He treated us like friends, not just clients. He shared stories about culture, local traditions and Moroccan history with warmth and pride. • Flexible & patient – He never rushed us and always accommodated our requests for photo stops, local snacks or short detours. • Professional yet fun – Always punctual, reliable and organised, but also had a great sense of humour that made the trip enjoyable. • Went the extra mile – From helping us shop beyond his working hours, to arranging airport transfer for some in our group, to making sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times—Mustafa truly exceeded expectations. By the end of the tour, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. 💛
Incredible experience all around. Our guide Mohaa was very kind and accommodating. The whole tour was very well planned and exceeded our expectations. The quad biking in the desert is a MUST!
Our driver, Mohaa was perfect. He explained all the must-see spots clearly, and he also made sure to respond to our requests like stopping by restrooms and ATMs. He tried to keep the team’s spirits high, and we had a great time thanks to him! Other activities like camel riding, visiting Rossini, Ouarzazate, and so on were really nice. I recommend this tour to all who want to enjoy Morocco, or life in desert
The trip was amazing. I couldn't have expected more from the trip, made some really great memories and friends all along the journey and all I would say because of Zaki and Siad, who started to call us Family whenever he was giving any information about the place enroute. Stay at the Sahara was great, tents, food everything was amazing. The guides provided in camel ride, Rissani town, and Ait-Benhaddou were knowledgeable and communication was great. I would like to recommend this tour to everyone, whether you are a solo traveller, couple or a group of friends. I was travelling solo and ended up being in a family of travelers, enjoyed every bit of it.
Our tour in Morocco was an unforgettable experience! Our guides, Zaki and Said, took such great care of us and made sure we arrived safely at every destination. We felt truly well looked after throughout the journey. Staying in a tent was a special and unique experience – just be aware that there’s no warm water. The second hotel was absolutely lovely, and the food was incredibly delicious! Everyone who worked there was so kind and attentive, making sure we had the best time. We wouldn’t have wanted to miss this trip for anything
This trip was the highlight of my first time in Morocco. Everyone involved was really nice and invested in making sure it was a good experience. The tents in the camp were spacious and surprisingly comfortable and had a separate bed area and toilet/shower. All the drivers were lovely, but I especially enjoyed Zaki and Siad, who made the long drives to Ourzazate and Marrakesh feel like a short trip. They were especially good about safety and keeping on schedule without rushing anybody, while checking in to make small adjustments to the trip (like more breaks or fewer stops) to make everyone happy and comfortable. Zaki is one of the most happy, cheerful people I have ever come across, and it makes such a difference on such a long trip (along with the van, which was spacious and had very comfortable seats). It’s really clear that both Zaki and Siad clearly love their job while taking their responsibilities seriously, and I would travel again with them in a heartbeat.
It was a great experience all thanks to our wonderful tour guide Zaki. He was really knowledgeable about the area but most of all he took great care of us, making us feel welcome and safe. We learnt so much from him! Thank you Zaki for your kindness
We had a fantastic 3-day tour. Our driver Zaki made us feel like family. He made us feel safe and got us to each destination in a timely manner. His warmth, knowledge, and care made the experience truly special!
Our tour was incredible thanks to our driver Zaki, who was kind, professional, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, sharing local insights and making every stop memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide on the road!
We have a fantastic guided tour. The driver Moha Moha is very experienced and knowledgable. The mini bus is clean and comfortable. He even told us to pay by the local price , Not the price for the tourists, We appreciated his excellent service and his highly recommended!
Moha was great. Tons of photos. Great experience. I hope you get Moha, he was amazing! Very good trip, definitely recommend. The desert camel ride was fun.
We loved every moment of this tour. From the dunes of Merzouga to the kasbahs of Ouarzazate, everything was well organized. Mostapha made the long drives enjoyable with great conversation and local insights
Our ride from Fez to the Sahara was enjoyable and interesting because Zaki, our driver cum tourist guide offered so much info about the places we stopped at or passed by. Zaki speaks good English and very attentive to our needs. The Sahara desert excursion on the camel was so exciting and lovely as we stopped to laze on the sand dune watching the sunset..and the ride to the tent afterwards, to be greeted by a lavishly decorated tent, complete with aircon and water heater... Star gazing in the darkness of the Sahara after dinner was completely amazing...
We had an amazing last-minute trip with this agency — we literally confirmed everything at 11 PM the night before, and they still managed to organize the whole thing for the next morning. I’m really grateful for how quickly and efficiently they put it all together! Our first night was in the desert, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The tent was super luxurious, the food was delicious and varied, and the whole atmosphere was incredible. We had also arranged in advance to ride ATVs instead of camels on the first day (for an extra charge) — it took a few reminders, but in the end, everything worked out perfectly. On the second day, we stayed in a hotel in Ouarzazate, which unfortunately didn’t live up to the rest of the trip. The hotel was quite disappointing — the service, cleanliness, and even the smell weren’t great. It would have been much better to stay in a riad instead, which are usually more authentic and offer a higher quality experience. We also had an amazing driver, Zaik, who shared so much Moroccan history with us along the way. He was super friendly, very accommodating and made the journey really special. And in Aït Benhaddou (where Gladiator was filmed), our guide Yasin was absolutely fantastic — full of energy, passion for film, and very knowledgeable. He was the perfect guide for that visit. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience and we’re really happy we chose this agency — just a small change in accommodation in the second part of our trip would have made it perfect!
First day it was good. We drove with Zaki and he explained stuff and was really helpful. We had a deal in the dessert to drive atv and they accommodated our wishes. Second day with Zaki was also good and he adjusted to our wishes.
Our tour guide Zaki was excellent. The trip was everything we expected except the hotel we stayed. There is a strong sewage smell right in front of the hotel and you can smell it from the room if you open the balcony door. Service was poor. You could hear the noice from the street even in the middle of the night. Wifi didn’t work in the room and front desk was supposed to send someone to fix it. No one ever came. There was no phone in the room to call them. I reported this hotel to the travel agency and hopefully they wouldn’t use it again.
I did a three day two night tour from Marrakesh to Fes, and the tour delivered what it promised - camel ride, dinners and breakfasts. You would have to pay for lunch - have about twelve euros (in cash) ready each time. While it seems most of the programme was subcontracted, if I had any questions, I could contact the agency at anytime and they were prompt in responding. Be prepared for long drives as you would be covering large distances. My guide Abdullah and driver Mustapha were excellent. There would be stops along the way where they will give you a tour and offer you stuff to purchase from the local cooperatives, but by a large the guide told us what to expect and we were never pressured to make a purchase. The stay in the hotel for the first night was okay, the only complaint I have was that the bed was a bit hard. The stay in the second night in a 'luxury tent' was decent. Tge dinner and breakfast offerings for the 'luxury tent' could be better. Importantly, both places had clean toilets. I had one unpleasant experience on the last day, with a different guide called Sari. He picked us from Merzouga to Fes today brought us to a place with monkeys, where people gave us nuts to feed them. It was not made clear to us that we had to pay the people who were literally forcing the nuts on us as we left the vehicle. I assumed it was included as part of the tour as in many other countries I went to it was. Sari clearly knew what was going on, when we were literally attacked by the locals and had the nuts forced on us on arrival. He did not intervene or do anything to warn us. I assume that it was something that was prearranged, as in other countries I've been to, no one would demand payment from us after being given a few cheap nuts. In the end I was forced to pay 50DH (after being shouted at for a minute). He also clearly did not speak in English very well, and spoke to me and two other German tourists as if we were idiots, but interacted amicably with the Spanish tourists. He was clearly more comfortable in speaking in Spanish. I'm okay if he does not speak English well, but to speak to us rudely and treating us like children after scamming us is no way acceptable. I informed the company of what happened and asked for compensation, and to my surprise, they refunded me the 50DH that was taken from me rather than shirking responsibility. I thought it was very professional what they did. All in all, I would recommend them. Excellent value to the price I paid, and the agency was prompt in answering my questions and took responsibility for things that happened.
We had a marvellous driver/ guide Zaki who was very knowledgeable. He drove safely. No pressure to buy anything and tried to find good lunch places during the Ramadan time. Zaki thank you for the great tour!
We had an amazing three-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, and Zaki made the experience unforgettable! From start to finish, he was kind, professional, and always attentive to our needs. He went out of his way to ensure our meals were served quickly, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. Zaki also selected fantastic local guides for us, enhancing our experience at every stop. His knowledge, organization, and willingness to help at every step made the trip truly special. If you’re looking for a guide who is reliable, thoughtful, and dedicated to making your adventure seamless, Zaki is the one! Highly recommended!
Very nice trip with 8 other people and a very nice driver Zaki. Stopt at places we wanted en made sure we got enough pictures and got tours with guides included. It is very long in the bus 3 full days, but with stops
My three gold friends and I had an unforgettable trip to Merzouga and Ouarzazate Everything was perfect great scenery, fun moments, and smooth travels. A huge thanks to our driver, Mustafa, who was not just a driver but a great guide and friend. Highly recommend this trip
This 3d/2ni trip from Fes to Marrakech was amazing. We booked a group tour but ended up just ourselves. It was like a private tour of 2 people. Our driver and guide Moha was friendly, accomodating, and just a happy go-lucky guy. The journey took us to many places that we couldn’t have done on our own. amazing desert camping — it was worth upgrading to a luxury tent. The mountain and desert scenery were spectaculat!!!! This country is so beautiful. Thank you 3T travel and Moha. You are the best !!
We visited from the USA. The trip was wonderful. There are a lot of interesting sites to see during the drive. Our driver (Moha) did an excellent job driving, and pointing out all of the interesting sites along the way. The trip is long, and he did an excellent job keeping us engaged on the journey. Spending the night in the desert was the highlight of the trip.
Zakaria is a good driver. Funny and smiling. He takes care of his customers and makes them feel good. This is very important considering the looong trip and the many hours he needs to drive. His jokes will make you company along the way. I had good time with him. The trip itself is very much worth it. The tent is kinda a fridge in January but I take it as part of the experience.
