The best part of this trip was meeting our driver Aimed. He was very charming, funny, personable, helpful and we all hated having to say goodbye. We had a blast with him during our drive to the desert and back to Fes. We learned more about Morocco and the culture in our time with Aimed than we did any other driver or guide during our stay in Morocco. If we get the chance to come back to Morocco, I would definitely ask to have Aimed as our driver.

Great trip Thanks to our driver we get in time to sunset. Better have some more time on calmles and on sunrise, but at all it was very pleasant adventure Notice, that you won't have guide, so you need to get ready before if you want more information
Our driver Zaki was really helpful and kind. He told us lots of interesting facts and answered all our questions. I recommend this experience to everyone because you’ll see the real desert, and you’ll never forget it.
Amazing experience, definitely the highlight of our trip!! Everything was very well organized, special shoutout to our guide, Zaki, who was super friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. He made the long journey very enjoyable. The camel ride and quads were super fun, can’t recommend this tour enough!!
Just back from doing the 2 day Sahara desert tour was very well organised and worth the 10 hour journey there and back 100% recommend to anyone coming to Marrakesh to see a real desert our driver Zaki was excellent too and kept the group well informed of what was happingz
As a group of friends visiting Morocco we decided to try out this desert tour experience, and it was wonderful. Our guide Zaki was super nice and friendly. Even though the it was a long drive, with all the breaks, fun facts and panoramic points it was worth it. The activities offered by the camp were very organized and the staff was very welcoming (shoutout to Morabak for the photoshoot and to the musicians for the show). The atmosphere was magical, especially for the possibility of admiring the starry sky there. We would all absolutely recommend this tour.
We did a desert tour through several Moroccan cities, with Merzouga as our final destination, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had in Morocco over the past ten days. A huge part of that was thanks to our driver, Zaki. From the very beginning, he made us feel completely at home. He was incredibly welcoming, kind and friendly, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the journey. He played music for us, shared good vibes, and somehow managed to make a ten-hour drive feel enjoyable, which is definitely not something to take for granted! The whole experience had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the people we met along the way were genuinely lovely and welcoming. Everything came together to make the journey feel like much more than just a transfer from one place to another. If you’re considering doing a desert trip in Morocco, I would absolutely recommend it. Ask for Zaki if you can, he really made the experience special. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip.
Beautiful experience, probably the best to do in the Moroccan desert; the trip is long but super worth it and it's not stressful at all, especially thanks to the driver Zaki who's a beautiful person and explains a lot about the Arabic and Berber culture in Marocco. The price is onest and fair considering all the activities we did, the people we met and the places we visited. I recommend it 100%.
Everything was cured in detail and we felt listened and intertained everytime. From the pick-up to the drop, the schedule was precise. Zaki, our expert and friendly guide, made us have a memorable experience in the Atlas Mountains, Ifrane, Zaida, Rissani until the berber-like camp (near Merzouga) waiting us with a cozy welcome and great activities like dromedary ride (but the quad experie is also a must), sand boarding, berber dinner and live music in a outdoor museum. The star-watching and the sunrise were stunning (and even if we could not admire the sunset due to cloudy weather, the landscapes never desappointed) and the explanations of the locals very instructive. Another mentions to Zaki is necessary for his helpfulness especially when unexpected events occurred. The quality/price ratio is incredibly convenient. Thank you!
The trip to the Sahara was truly amazing—I'd rate it 11/10! 🥰 The transport was fantastic. The driver shared so many interesting facts along the way, making it feel like we had an extra private guide with us. He took care of us as if we were a family going on a trip together. I think Zaki does a wonderful job, and without him, this journey wouldn't have been such a great adventure. An employee like that is truly worth appreciating. The stay in the desert itself was also wonderful, and the tents were stunning! I never would have expected a night in the desert to be so comfortable. The food was delicious, and the organization was top-notch. I am absolutely thrilled! Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience such an adventure. I am immensely grateful! Angelika 🩷
We had an amazing experience. Our driver, Zaki, was guiding us through the drive until we arrived in our camp. He was amazing, and also helped us to get cheaper stuff with the locals. Would 100% recommend! We were 9 people in the car, and that was perfect with worning aircondition.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. We saw breathtaking places, enjoyed delicious food, and the entire experience was very well organised. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to our drivers, Zaki and Mahfoudh, who were incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and well looked after throughout the trip. They truly made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this tour!
Amazing Trip! Everything from pickup to drop off went smoothly and was very easy to communicate. It’s a long bus ride from Marrakech but the drivers are very courteous and stop multiple times along the way to sight see or use the restroom. Zaki was especially amazing and was very accommodating to your every need! Would 100% do this again! (Would recommend AC tent)
It was a great experience. The drive was long, but we signed up for that. Our driver Zaki made sure to make plenty of stops showed cool things along the way. When we got to the camp, everyone was super friendly. The tent was comfortable. Would recommend getting a/c though lol desert is NOT cold at night. 10 out of 10 would recommend and would do again.
Zaki was a terrific driver!! The whole experience was amazing!!
We had the best experience on this tour with Said. We went from and Fes and he picked us up right on time outside out hotel.. The trip itself was fun, but be warned it's a long drive from Fes to the desert, and from the desert to Marrakesh. I didn't love the camels but the camp was cute. When we visited it was a bit cold, and we really had to wrap ourselves in blankets to stay warm, but during the summer months this won't be an issue. Slight negative was the food at the camp - there was not much breakfast left by the time my friend and I arrived back from the the dune buggies (which was great fun!) Our guide, Said, was almost the best part of the trip. He was just the best guide, and went out of his way to make our trip fun. He took loads of photos and shared them with us, he was always making jokes and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a nice time. He elevated the whole trip for us and we still talk about him and have not forgotten him.
Incredible experience! Our guide, Zaki, was the best driver we could have asked for. He made us feel safe throughout the entire journey, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable. He’s also a great storyteller and shared so much about the local culture, making the trip even more special. Thank you, Zaki, for your kindness, care, and professionalism. Highly recommended!
Our experience on the two day trip was nothing but beautiful and extraordinary. Our driver Zaki was the best guide, extremely accommodating, and overall amazing. Thank you to this company for the best experience!
Great trip! Our driver Zaki was super friendly and accomadating as well as the rest of the staff at the campsite. Went with college friends and we all agreed the timing was perfect and we got to do the big Moroccan experiences (camels, sandboarding, atvs) in a good time span
This was an amazing experience and I loved our tour guide!
This experience was amazing! The entire trip was extremely organized and helpful my friends and I coordinate a plan quickly and efficiently. Zaki our driver was to thanks for our experience, by helping us with locals, food, advice and much more!
Our driver and guide Zaki was the perfect choice and fit for this trip. Along with being a welcoming host, he was accommodating, kind, and very knowledgeable. I recommend this trip to anyone who is spending a short amount of time in Morocco/Marrakesh. We went as a group of study abroad students and had an unforgettable time.
My friends and I had such an incredible experience doing the overnight stay in the Merzouga desert. It was a long drive for sure but our driver Zaki on the way there was super friendly and made the drive much more bearable. My friends and I had to leave a bit earlier than everyone else the next day so we could make our flight, so another driver Ahmed took us and he was awesome. We made it back with plenty of time to spare. The atmosphere of the camp was very comfortable. It was clean and the people working there were super friendly. It was pretty hot at night so we ended up paying an extra $40 for AC which was worth it. Considering how long the drive was, it might be more worth it to do 2 nights instead of 1, but it was still so much fun and worth the money.
Zaki was the best guide of the world Amazing tratsment And special days whith my friends
Moha and Zaki were amazing drivers. They made the experience incredibly enjoyable. They are fun, energetic, and awesome people in general. I would highly recommend this activity, especially with Moha and Zaki, to everyone. This was an amazing experience and I would love to do it again.
An excellent package for those who only have two days but still want to experience the beautiful desert of Merzouga. The experience was unforgettable, and I got some amazing photos. We had a fantastic guide and driver, Zaki, who guided us every step of the way, drove safely, and helped us in every situation. I strongly recommend this tour!
The tour was incredible and a great way to see so much of Morocco. Zaki was also an awesome driver who answered all our questions and showed us around Morocco!
Amazing experience! Specially because of our guide Zaki!! I would 100% recommend
Zaki made the whole experience wonderful. He went above and beyond! He was so nice and communicated with us throughout the whole time we were together. My friend and I appreciate him and the times he went out of his way for us! He deserves an award. The whole experience in the Sahara was a dream. The staff were lovely and Ali made our camel ride seamless. The Quad biking was a fun experience and I could not thank everyone enough for their kindness. I would recommend bringing cash (lunch stopes were about 135 MAD) flip flops for the shower, a fanny pack/sling bag and head scarf.
ZAKI IS AMAZING! I honestly couldn’t sing his praises more. He consistently went above and beyond for us and us Canadians couldn’t be more thankful. Overall, the experience was good. We drove out to the Sahara and made several stops along the way. They were perfectly timed. The places the guides took us for food were priced around 120 MAD for food and 15 MAD for drinks. The food was good and there were options at each place we went. Then, immediately upon arrival we went on our camel ride into the Sahara and spent time walking around in the dunes. Then, we returned to camp for dinner. After dinner there was a performance. In the morning, we woke up for sunrise ATV rides and breakfast before heading back. My only criticism is that they could’ve communicated when things were happening more clearly. Be sure to bring your own water, toilet paper, small denominations of MAD for tips because guides will ask for them, and shower shoes if that’s something you care about. I’d also recommend bringing a small sling bag to carry with you at all times that can hold a water bottle. I’d recommend doing this experience before you hit up the souks in Marrakech to get a better sense of how you should bargain as well. Overall, the experience was definitely worth it especially if you get Zaki as your driver!!!!!
Very nice experience to visit merzouga desert. The admission fee was adeguate to the expectation, the tent was big and copy. The journey was long but our guide Zaki was a great driver and a very good guide. Always ready to listen to travellers needs.
Very nice tour from Marrakesh to the Merzouga desert. We tried the camel ride at sunset and had a nice fireside show at night. Admission fee was adequate. The experience was 2 days long. The crowd size was of around 10 people. Best for your first desert experience, special thanks to Zaki.
We had an amazing experience on our two-day desert tour. Everything was well organized, and the views along the way were unforgettable. What really made the trip special, though, was our guide, Zaki. He was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire journey. Despite the very long and demanding 12-hour drives each way, he remained positive, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people he’s guiding. The desert itself was absolutely beautiful—such a peaceful and unique experience—and the team at the camp were just as wonderful. They were welcoming, friendly, and made the evening feel really special. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend this tour.
this review is to highlight the transportation aspect of the excursion. zaki was my driver from the sahara desert to marrakech (post excursion) and did a phenomenal job. he was a true professional maintaining a positive attitude throughout the long journey and drove very safely prioritizing our comfort with timely check ins. he was patient with everyone and made an effort to connect with each of us. he kept us informed of every stop we made and answered any of our questions. i appreciated his insight on the landscape, journey and history of the villages we drove through. thank you zaki!
The Sahara should not be missed if someone wants an overall of Marroco. The camp was a very nice experience but the people make the difference and give the vibe , professionals , well organised, and pleasant people, the food was much better in camp rather than any other place we had eaten and actually was really nice dinner, the breakfast had mainly sweet things not savory , something that i didn't liked , wish to had spent more days there. As a solo traveller i felt really safe and comfortable during my trip and my stay in the camp . I would had skip the lunch, because it is mainly in touristic poor establishments that I really didn't like. Moreover i would like to mention my driver, Zaki who really is great coordinator, professional , positive attitude, solution maker and a careful driver .
We did a 2-day excursion from Marrakech to Merzouga and overall it was a very nice experience—quite tiring, but worth it. The journey is long (around 10 hours each way), so it’s something to be aware of, but our driver, Said Jamai, really helped make it more enjoyable. He was kind, friendly, and always tried to keep a good atmosphere in the group. During the trip, he made an effort to engage with everyone, even singing in Arabic at times to pass the time, which was a nice touch. He also made sure we stopped at the main points of interest and the best panoramic spots along the way, so we could enjoy the landscapes without feeling rushed. We traveled in two, and during the Berber evening in the desert camp there was also a small, lighthearted moment where he organized a simple “award” and we received a camel souvenir. It was a funny and the Berber music was really the best way to enjoy the night desert in front of the fire! Merzouga and the desert camp are definitely worth seeing, and despite the long hours on the road, the trip is well organized and enjoyable: sunset and sunrise in the desert are definitely a reward that makes the long journey worthwhile. Last but not list: On the way back, he even made a small detour to let us enjoy a spectacular view of Aït Benhaddou, which we really appreciated! Shukran, Said!
I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on this 2-day desert tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized. The main guide, Said Jamai, lead us to the desert with a trip by bus filled with beautiful scenery and tons of fun on board. The camel ride through the golden dunes was peaceful and truly magical—it felt like stepping into another world. Spending the night in the desert camp was the highlight of the trip. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, with delicious food, great company, and a stunning sky full of stars that I’ll never forget. It was the perfect way to disconnect and enjoy nature. The next morning, the quad biking adventure across the dunes was a fun experience which allowed us to have an amazing view of the dawn among the dunes of the Sahara. The guides were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and breathtaking scenery. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
If you are visiting Morocco, do not skip the Sahara. It’s a long drive from Marrakech, but the peace, the culture, and the sheer beauty of the desert are worth every kilometer. The landscape of the Erg Chebbi dunes is breathtaking. You'll get the chance to ride into the sunset on a Camel, through the dunes that change from fiery orange to pale gold as the sun moves is a sight I’ll never forget. After the ride we stayed in a traditional camp with delicious food and traditional Gnawa music by the campfire. The next day you'll wake up early to see the sun rise over the dunes, in our case reached by renting some quads, in total silence. For those who are scared by the 10 hours trip, it felt like it flew in jut some hours thanks to our guide, Said Jamai. His energy and friendliness were infectious from day one. Said didn't just drive us; he entertained the group (18 people) with karaoke sessions and great music, making the long distances feel like a party. His kindness and availability were unmatched—he even took us on several extra stops off the beaten path! A magical, five-star experience!
My friends and I took the two-day tour, spending one night in the desert. We were accompanied by Said Jamaai, a very nice and professional guy. He was very kind and helpful, and the experience, especially the arrival in the desert, was spectacular. The sunrise, the people who work and live there, the food, the location... everything was perfect and unforgettable!
We had a great time with our driver Zaki. He made sure that all our needs were met and that we enjoyed the tour.
My friend and I booked the 2 day Tour to Erg Chebbi/Sahara. The whole journey was a great experience, so you should definitely try it. Due to our 10 hour drive to the Sahara and back to Marrakesch, we spent a lot of time in the car with our driver Zaki. We had a view stops on the way and he had a lot to tell about the Berber, the history, the places, the nature, just everything. We felt really safe in the car, because even though it was a long ride, Zaki drove concentrated and looked after our needs. At the end he dropped us off near the hotel and made sure we come home safe. All our respect 🙏 The food in the camp was good, the people really friendly, bring warm clothes, the nights are cold. Overall the Sahara is just beautiful side note: the camels seemed a little sad, maybe just walk with them and don't ride them. Reviewed from two girls traveling.
Amazing experience with Said Jamai & Said Guid - they took great care of my family and I and kept us safe through our entire journey to the desert and back. Said & Said extended their kindness even more and drove us to the airport at 4 AM the next day. The price is worth the experience, and the road trip to the desert was beautiful (around 8 hours + stopovers for lunch and breaks). We were in a van of around 18 people and it was a comfortable and entertaining ride. The camel ride, food, and tents were fun with music and dancing in the desert 🐪☀️ Best and safe for traveling with family/friends, and I think it would be amazing even for solo travellers!
Sika was an excellent guide and deliveredus to Merzouga at the precise time that was needed. I would highly recommend this tour with him.
The experience was amazing. The tour was planned well by the company and our tour guide and driver Zaki was amazing proving us with insights through the trip and also making sure we reach in time for the incredible sunset
The ride is a bit long BUT the desert is absolutely worth it. Pictures don’t do it justice and the stops are also awesome with pretty good Moroccan food. SAID was the best tour guide ever and was always smiling. The staff at every stop of the way were very friendly. Great price even better experience. Thank you habibi
The experience was amazing and Said and Jamais were a lot of fun to talk to and very funny and accommodating.
We had the most unforgettable Sahara trip from Marrakesh, and honestly the highlight wasn’t just the desert—it was our two amazing guides. These two brothers made the whole journey special from start to finish. They were super friendly, funny, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable. The long drives didn’t even feel tiring because they kept the energy up, shared stories about Morocco, and brought such good vibes the entire time. You can really tell they care about what they do. -Abdullah
A very nice experience to Drive with Zaki. He makes the Long Drive really nice.
I had the most amazing time on my tour!!! Zaki was my driver and he was so sweet and accommodating for our whole group! He made the bus drive very smooth and awesome. We did the one night two day tour and it was the perfect amount of time. The camp was clean and beautiful and comfortable and everyone was so kind. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time. Our driver was phenomenal at driving and extremely funny and outgoing. He made everyone feel welcome and we had a great time. Additionally, riding the camels, eating the food, and the fire and music were a great time.
