Fantastic guide who expertly led us from site to site through the Merzouga. Gave us great insight and historical facts at each place, skipped the ticket line for all sites visited. Joined a small-ish group of 10 people total. Good value for money, recommended to others. Only slight delay at meet up trying to find the right group as it is a popular tour starting point.

Our guide was friendly, articulate, and had a great sense of humor. His explanations of Marrakech’s history and culture were entertaining and to the point. The meeting point was a location from which many other tours were departing at the same time. It was a bit chaotic, but since we had the app—which displayed our booking details—they had all the information they needed to organize everything.
Our guide, Rachid, is super friendly, a real ray of sunshine. He creates a wonderful, family-like atmosphere from start to finish! Every tour is interesting and enriching. I highly recommend this 3-day tour!
I wanted to include something different in my Morocco itinerary, and a trip from Fes to Merzouga seemed like a great way to do that. What makes this experience interesting is that it combines a road trip through varied landscapes with the chance to spend a night near the Sahara dunes. The camel ride at sunset offers a different perspective of the desert, especially as the light changes over the sand. The evening at the camp is another part of the experience to look forward to, with dinner and the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings after dark. It is certainly a busy two-day itinerary, but it offers a memorable contrast to exploring Morocco’s cities and gives the desert a proper place in the trip.
One of the things I enjoyed most about traveling from Fes to Merzouga was discovering how much the scenery changes across Morocco. The drive gave me a chance to see a different side of the country, far beyond the streets and markets I had already explored. Arriving near the dunes was a special moment, and the sunset camel ride was a lovely way to experience the desert at a slower pace. I also liked the idea of spending the evening at a desert camp, away from the noise and busy atmosphere of the cities. Although the journey takes time, the combination of changing landscapes and the Sahara experience makes this tour an interesting option for anyone wanting to see more of Morocco.
The journey from Fes to Merzouga gave me a completely different perspective of Morocco. I enjoyed watching the scenery change little by little during the drive, especially as we moved away from the city and into the more remote landscapes. Reaching the desert and seeing the dunes stretching out in front of us was definitely a highlight. The camel ride around sunset was peaceful and gave us a beautiful view of the changing colors across the sand. I also loved the atmosphere at the camp that evening, particularly having dinner surrounded by the silence of the desert. It was a full two-day experience, but it never felt like time wasted because there was always something new to see.
Before doing this tour, I was mostly excited about seeing the Sahara, but I ended up enjoying the entire journey from Fes much more than I expected. There was something special about watching the landscape gradually change during the drive, from greener areas and mountain scenery to the dry, open landscapes closer to Merzouga. Once we arrived, the dunes were even more impressive in person. The camel ride around sunset gave us a chance to slow down and really appreciate where we were, and the evening at the desert camp was probably the most memorable part for me. Sitting there after dinner, away from the noise and lights of the city, felt completely different from the rest of my trip. It was a busy two days, but it gave me a much better sense of Morocco beyond the usual city visits.
