Zalagh Parc Palace was an okay hotel overall. Our room was nice and comfortable, though the bed was on the small side for two people. We managed to fit, but couples who like extra space may want to ask for a larger bed when booking. The property itself is large, with several pools, a spa, multiple restaurants, and a bar, so there's plenty to do on-site. Keep in mind it's in the modern part of Fes, about 4 km from the city center, so you'll need a taxi or transport to reach the old medina.

Re booking 24 June - 26 June - I am writing to express how disappointed we were with our stay. We found the staff rude, on arrival the reception asked us if we were sure we were at the right hotel- we felt very judged - the pool was not available we were not made aware of this and this one of the main reasons we booked. The breakfast was limited, had flies all over the food, which looked stale- there were no waiters to help we often had to ask several times for water- the air con wasn’t working we had to ask severe times for someone to come and look at it - overall this was a hugely disappointing stay- We have friends on fes so will be returning often and I’m sorry to stay we will not be staying at this establishment.i have tried to contact the hotel direct but their contact form results in an error when trying to submit
You can tell the hotel used to be 5 stars and the place to stay. The reception is Moroccan style and all very beautiful but it's all very tired and needs a good refurbishment. The pool is lovely but again everything a bit dated. My room was clean but the shower I had to hold as it kept falling down off the holder. Whilst clean you can just see aging in the grout for example and fittings. I also took the stairs to the pool, it was a fire escape but the doors at the bottom were locked. The door were of poor quality so I evaluated that in the event of a fire I'd get out ok but still not exactly safe. The food was not good. Bland and also a lot of flies around and the food was uncovered. There's should be nets or protection from them. Shame as it clearly once was a beautiful hotel.
Great place to relax after a long day exploring the city or a business meeting. The rooms are plenty spacious, bathrooms clean, bed sheets as well. The view on the pool was nice, but since it's Fez, don't expect any great views. The hotel is nice especially the lounge at night. There's a grand piano free to play for all if you have the skills! Overall, the hotel is nice but the location isn't in my opinion. Doesn't leave room for other activities once you're there. But yeah, overall, a good experience.
We stayed for 5 nights and its insane how this hotel ever got 5 stars... I'll start with the good parts: - hotel lobby is very beautiful, traditionally moroccan - staff is really friendly (most of them, at least) - rooms are spacious - food is delicious - big supermarket right across the street Now the cons: - they allow smoking right in the lobby - rugs/carpets in the rooms are extremely dirty...they probably were white once upon a time, maybe last century... - bathroom is terrible, despite being quite big. The sink/shower drainage is a nightmare, the bidet is so close to the toilet, that your knees cant even fit in there, if you're taller than 1,65. Also, the toilet itself is extremely cheap and low quality - room access card got demagnetised like 3 times a day and I had to go down to the reception each time - housekeeping ladies took all of our towels every day, without replacing them and I had to search for them all the time, to ask for damn towels - the wifi is really bad and basically nonexistent in the 2nd part of the day, i think they only have one single router for the entire huge building - the front desk lady refused to help us order a taxi, simply because we were 2 people and claimed that they only order cabs when there's a larger number of people and told us to go waive at taxis directly from the sidewalk...ive never something similar at a 5 star facility..
