Nice and cozy, verry clean rooms, friendly staff. Only minus are the bathrooms that are small, but other than that everything is good.
Riad Mimosa is clean & nice. It's located in the French quarter, quiet & privacy, but far away from the old medina. The caretaker could only speak French.. Boring stay. Breakfast is inclusive but other meals had to be ordered & expensive. A dinner meal for 1 would be 180 dirham. I had 2 dinners for 2 pax which reaped 720 dirham, 120 dirham for another 2 min tea. Ripped my pocket for 840 dirham!! It was damn ridiculous! My stay was arranged by Jamal, Morocco Tour Guide.com
worst experience of our whole moroccan holiday!!! taken here by an 'official guide', despite us having already booked another hotel to stay at. He made us cancel our original booking. We felt so intimidated that we then wanted to just travel by ourselves, which then led to the guide literally yelling at us in the foyer of this riad for a good 10min while staff sat there watching. being a young couple and our first day in Morocco, this was the most intimidating thing that we have ever experienced. we felt so awful that we just paid the ridiculously high cost and left the next morning at 7am!! Charged me 70 euros a night. Could have booked online for 40. Paid for 3 nights up front. On the third night offered me a "better room" like a Muppet I agreed, not used to people lying to my face. Ended up in room on front of building on main road with traffic. They suggested an official tour guide who ended up taking me to the sights that you can't enter if you're not a Muslim a leather shop, a rug shop and a spices shop - well worth £50 - NOT.
