A very good riad in a perfect location. The air conditioning was excellent, the pool was great, and the food was delicious. Most importantly, the staff were outstanding. A special thank you to Meryeme, who was always kind, helpful, and always ready to assist us with anything. We truly appreciate the wonderful hospitality and highly recommend this riad!

At the outset the stay is located at Sidi boujida gate (Google maps location is wrong). It's a 5 minute walk from Sidi boujida gate. Plain road no steps so luggage with wheels can make it easy. The rooms are neat, massive and come with a big washroom and with all amenities. They provide a pretty big and tasty breakfast spread. They further will help you out with packing breakfast in case you have to leave early. The best part of this stay were Achraf, Mariam, Mohammed and co. who were extremely hospitable and helpful. They help with arrangements of guide, taxis etc. prices which are 5 to 10% cheaper than the market. The said arrangements are also of top quality and trustworthy. Would recommend this stay without hesitation.
All I can say is wow! We stayed in the Chocolat suite and it blew us away. It is a GEM of a riad tucked away down a side street (worth the walking trip to the front door). The staff were amazing, especially Yuserra at check-in. She was helpful and lovely. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the riad. They also have an amazing rooftop terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast. Sidenote: the bed was super comfortable and our bathroom was huge. Highly recommend!
One of our favorite Riad's of the trip! It is a historic Riad and it is in the Medina - which are both things that appeal to some travelers and not to others. But, if you are looking for those things, this is a great option! Beautiful architecture, and the staff was really lovely. We ate dinner there and the food was excellent! Breakfast was the typical Moroccan spread and was very good too. Overall, a great stay and very good value.
**you will need to walk from the nearby roundabout, the pedestrian streets leading to the hotel will get very crowded starting in the evening with people, motorcycles, and some cars, so I’d recommend planning to arrive earlier in the day if you have a lot of luggage to pull around. Pros: the people working are super kind and were helpful in helping us work out some issues with the room. The common area downstairs and the terrace are lovely, picturesque. Hearty breakfast, which was good for being free. We got massages through the hotel in a room, which was nice. Cons: I think your experience of the hotel will come down to which room you book. Our rating is for the small Canelle room, it was booked for us through a travel agency. We should’ve looked at pictures first, it was very very small, including the bathroom which did not have a separate shower area. We were in one of the large family rooms for our massage, and it looked much nicer. The WiFi didn’t reach our room, but they were very kind and brought a router in. Our only window faced the inside common room, and was quite loud as people dined or left in the mornings/late at night. So again, our specific room was not the best but we see how your experience could be much better in a different room. Some other things to consider—this hotel is not located in a busy tourist area, it is in the north medina in a working class area, it will not only require you to take a longer taxi upon arriving to Fes, but walking to the common sites within the medina is further. Not a huge problem for a day of adventuring, but it does mean a trek for dinner at any of the more known restaurants at night as everything nearby is street food. many people dined in the hotel and it could be because of the location. We also had to turn down quite a few affiliated services: guides, dining in, a restaurant nearby. Again, nice to have these options as we did opt in for the massage service, but otherwise I think pretty overpriced for what you can find elsewhere, and we would’ve enjoyed a reprieve from getting “sold to”
