Living in Rabat, we often go to Fès with our friends. Riad Anata is our Favourite - so beautiful in every detail. But you have to be quick as there are only few rooms available. Samira is a wonderful host - she really cares for her guests. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are full of light and colour, the food is excellent (home-made). Do not miss the chance to stay in this lovely place!

This was our very first time visiting Morocco, and staying at Riad Anata made it an absolutely amazing experience! Since it was also our official honeymoon, we wanted somewhere truly special, and this beautiful riad exceeded every expectation. The team went completely above and beyond to make our celebration feel magical. From the romantic ambiance of the courtyard to the warmest hospitality, we felt so incredibly welcomed. Everything was flawless. We especially appreciated how peaceful and comfortable we felt in our room and we slept like absolute royalty! Between the sun-drenched rooftop breakfasts and the unforgettable atmosphere, Riad Anata completely stole our hearts. We are already counting down the days until we can come back for visit number two! 🥂❤️
Our riad host highly recommended the cooking class at Riad Anata. Scheduling with Valérie was incredibly easy and she was accommodating to our needs. Samira was our head chef and Fez market ambassador, and she...was...AMAZING! She met us at the Blue Gate and took us through the market, deciding on a menu, showing us around, and sharing local customs. At the riad, she put us right to work, and was a truly great teacher and clear with her instructions and modeling. The class was so hands on, I was able to mimic one of the recipes from memory as soon as I returned home. We truly enjoyed the experience and would hihly recommend it to anyone.
Riad Anata truly made our trip memorable. From the moment we arrived, Simo was extremely welcoming and friendly. The road is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean, spacious and tasteful. There are beautiful common spaces, especially the rooftop terrace. The breakfasts were delicious and it was different every day. Moreover, the location was fantastic as it was quiet but only a 5-10 minute walk from everything. In particular, a true highlight was the cooking class with Samira. She is warm, generous and knowledgeable and I would honestly say the meal we cooked with Samira was the best we had in Fes. I would highly recommend Road Anata to anyone travelling to Fes and will be sure to return!
We enjoyed our one night at Riad Anata. The riad is beautiful and has a really great rooftop for dining or just relaxing and sunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, on the edge of the medina but easily walkable to everything. Breakfast was good. I wish we'd had time to do the cooking class as it looked and smelled delicious. The room was a bit small (we were in the orange room), which was fine for one night but if we had done multiple nights maybe would've felt a bit cramped.
