Zineb and Zaki went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. After coming from another super unprofessional riad, they made us feel at home from the very beginning. Our reservation included parking, but since we booked last minute, there was no space available. They immediately made sure we found another place to park and handled everything for us. We arrived with some drinks and they even provided us with a mini fridge so we could keep them cold. They picked us up, took us to the parking, and were always available whenever we needed anything. They genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. This riad, and especially Zineb and Zaki, was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Fes. They made us feel at home, and we would honestly come back to Fes just to stay here again! The breakfast was also delicious, and they were always checking in on us and making sure everything was okay. Thank you both for making our stay so special! ❤️

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked a room through Booking.com the night before our arrival and received a confirmation email confirming our reservation. The next morning at 8:34 AM, we even received a welcome message from the hotel stating: "We are delighted to welcome you today at Riad Nazha. We are committed to offering you an unforgettable stay, full of comfort, tranquility and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality." Unfortunately, the reality was the exact opposite. After an exhausting 8-hour drive to Fes, we arrived at the riad expecting to check into the room that had been confirmed and reconfirmed by their own welcome message. Instead, we were told they were fully booked and had no room available for us. How can a hotel send a welcome message on the morning of arrival and then claim they have no room when the guest arrives? This demonstrates a complete lack of organization, professionalism, and respect for their guests. No phone call, no warning, no attempt to notify us before we made the long journey. Being stranded after an 8-hour drive because a hotel failed to honor a confirmed reservation is simply unacceptable. A reservation confirmation should mean something. Instead, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. If you value reliability, honesty, and basic customer service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had.
The rooms have high ceilings. It's actually really nice but this makes heating the room very hard. We stayed here in winter so the room was never warm unfortunately. The drain in the shower was really slow. There is no hot water to make yourself a tea. But you can buy it in the hotel. The stuff was nice and helpful. They have good communication with the guests. They speak fluent English. It's close to the parking area so the location is preferable.
We stayed here during our visit to Fes and unfortunately left with mixed feelings. The biggest highlight of our stay was Anass. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about the guests. He shared fascinating insights about Moroccan history and culture, always took time to chat with us, and was incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything. He truly made our stay much more enjoyable. We also appreciated being picked up from the parking area and receiving help with our luggage on both arrival and departure. However, for a property advertised as a five-star riad, we expected much more. The room was quite basic, the beds were very hard, and the overall cleanliness could have been better. There was not even a hairdryer in the room. The riad lacked the charm, attention to detail, and luxurious atmosphere that we experienced in several other, much less expensive riads throughout Morocco. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. Morocco is known for its fresh and delicious cuisine, but unfortunately the breakfast here was bland and did not meet our expectations. Most products were not fresh. After our experience, we decided to have all our remaining meals outside the riad. The terrace and outdoor areas also seemed neglected. Some tables were worn and unstable, umbrellas were damaged, and several facilities appeared in need of maintenance. We were also surprised that no one informed us about a local holiday during our stay, which meant many places were closed. As visitors, we would have appreciated more information about local customs, events, and practical tips for the area. Finally, the prices for drinks and extras were very high compared to the overall quality offered. The value for money simply did not feel right. Throughout our trip in Morocco, we stayed in several cheaper riads that provided a much more memorable experience, better attention to detail, and a warmer overall atmosphere. While we are grateful to Anass for his outstanding hospitality, the riad as a whole unfortunately did not live up to the expectations we had for a five-star property.
The Riad is authentically Moroccan, featuring traditional tiles on the floors, walls, and ceilings, along with beautiful lamps and window decor. It truly captures the feel of old-world Morocco. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi was stable and worked well throughout our stay. Yet, this is far from a 5-star experience. The Riad is showing its age and is in need of renovation and maintenance. It has potential, but the lack of upkeep is disappointing. But although the Riad does not offer a five-star level of luxury, the kindness, dedication, and genuine warmth of the staff — particularly Ahmed — outweigh any minor flaws. From the moment you arrive, you feel cared for, sincerely welcomed, and embraced as part of the family.
