A fantastic experience. It was well organized and guided well beyond expectations! Extra information during the trip was in Spanish and English. A comfortable and modern bus made the trip a pleasure for the group of about 20 people .
Our guide Silvia was highly knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. The tour was well organized. The sites are breathtaking!
The Perito Moreno Glaciers are beautiful! Trip of a lifetime. The reason I cannot recommend this particular tour is that I cannot recommend Viator. The passenger details, when booking from overseas, seem to be passed through many different tour companies and many different hands. I was terribly disappointed in this trip as because my name was missing from the list of "Paid Passengers" I was denied the boat trip amongst the glaciers! This was the highlight of the tour. In Argentina, if they cannot see the money, there is no service. They have no use for confirmations or booking numbers or emails. The rest of the tour comprised of pick up by a local tour company from your hotel, commentary by a loud voiced but well meaning tour guide (in English and Spanish) and a drive out to the glacier scenic lookouts. You could probably hire a car or book locally when you arrive. Don't use Viator. Not worth it.
Tour was a very convenient way to visit the glacier, and the views were amazing. Guide was helpful and informative
I made the booking one day before the trip. I called the agency during the booking to confirm that it is still possible to do it because it is only one day before - they assured me that it is ok. I called again in the morning to confirm the pick up JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE - again they assured me that everything is ok and that I should be ready at 10:15 for pick up. At 10:45 they send me an email canceling the trip! Worst organization ever - save your nerves and avoid this agency at all cost. And believe the reviews here as it seems like this is not the first time they have done it!!!!!!!
The glacier was amazing and our guide Carla was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and was a happy person.
It was an excellent tour and run very well. They told me my specific pickup time and arrived exactly when they said. Jessica was a great guide and since I was the only native English speaker she was very attentive to me to make sure I understood everything. The time allotted for the platforms was perfect if you are a relatively quick walker and want to see everything. You could also stick to the main area and go at a very leisurely pace and be fine. The boat was a little crowded for comfortable pictures outside, but was still well worth it.
Like another commentator said - don’t bok the day prior. Even though they had made their scheduling available for the next day and I provided all the required information, my reservation was cancelled. I was notified of it late at night, so I couldn’t even look for alternatives. Went to another agency in person early in the morning the day of the tour and luckily they were able to fit me into a tour. We’ll see how the refund request goes.
The glacier itself and surroundings are beautiful and awe inspiring. Walkways provided plenty of different vistas. The boat tour was overcrowded and required maneuvering around the hoards. Look for a boat with fewer people allowed.
Do not use Viator, find another agent. Did not pick us up despite the confirmation & full payment 2 days before. You have to reconfirmed with passport number before 5pm the day before your travel. If not, no pick up from hotel and you missed the whole trip. We were travelling from Chile to Argentina the day before and had no access to internet. We arrived at hotel at 7pm and responded immediately but still no pick up the next day......no refund either! No other company will ask for additional information after confirmation of booking. If passport number is require, it could easily be included in the original application so no reconfirmation is needed. The whole process appears to be a scam.
Posting does not state that 48 hours is required for company "to confirm". Called after booking day prior to excursion and was told we would have information about pickup in the morning. Never received any information and had to call 45 minutes for pickup to be told tickets were not bought enough in advance. They issued a refund but we had to scramble to find a tour. Take your money elsewhere.
When I arrived at my hotel, the details of my trip were waiting for me (in an envelope). The mini bus picked me up on time and we started our trip. Our group was about 15 people - so not too many. I was the only native English speaker on the tour and the guide offered to do the tour in both Spanish and English. My Spanish is ok and as part of the reason for my trip was to improve my Spanish - I asked for Spanish. The guide was very good to speak clearly and not too quickly. The glacier is spectacular and not to be missed on an tour to this region. I did the additional boat trip and it was good, but you don't get much closer to the glacier than from the lookouts. If you are a bit tight with money you could skip the boat trip, but you do have an extra hour to fill in. Either way - good fun and not too be missed.
The glacier did not disappoint, but the way there was difficult for my senior citizen friends. The bus ride was too long for the bladder’a comfort. The Argentina tourism industry needs to invest in buses with toilets. We had the same problem in Buenos Aires. For some reason, the elevator in Los Glaciares National Park was not working, seniora had to use several flights of stairs, to the detriment of their knees.
Perito Moreno is a worthwhile experience, but the prices here are outrageous. I paid 160 dollars for two persons. Everyone else paid less than 20 dollars per person for boat ride. Entrance fees to park (around 15 dollars per person) are not even included. This is mere taking advantage of foreigners! Not fair. Also tour was supposed to be in English. All was Spanish.
The Glacier was stunning! Only things is that the tour guide showed up half an hour late, the tour was mostly in Spanish (and little English) and on top of the ticket you had to pay your own Park Entrance fee and your own lunch.
Perfect amount of time to see everything great. Your guide was excellent. My only qualm is that the park fee should be in the price so that we don’t have to worry about it on the day, but maybe that is a rule.
Good travel agency with nice and friendly guide. Everything was perfect and the rates are reasonable
Juan was very professional on guiding us this full day tour. Needless to say the scenery is splendid. Despite most of the passengers on this tour are Spanish speakers, Juan did provide bilingual explanation and managed time well so that we could finish the tour on time. Will highly recommend this tour.
A beautiful landscape, one of the best views in the world. The guides were amazing and people were so positive. But the official guys of the national park in the boats were really impulsive with young woman. It would be nice if they don't say things to women. I didn't say or even looked at them, and one of them make me feel really unconfortable with his comments when I entered in the boat. Then, when I left, he told me that I should drink more beer instead of mate... I didn't say a word to him before. Why does he think he has a right to tell me that?
A beautiful landscape. A flash of blues. The stairs take us down near the glacier. By boat we are mush more near and the image is Suberb and with some luck we can observe a fall of a little part of the glacier. Recommended!

Fabulous scenery and ideal length of trip. Would be helpful if details of National Park fee were included on booking voucher, or better still included in price of tour.

Very expensive, You need to book there after you arrive not by Viator

Fabulous tour with a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Breathtaking views!

A really excellent boat trip up to the glacier. Plenty of time for all to take photos of an active, calving glacier. Booking through always glaciers who were excellent exept that after payment they reoffice quired re-confirmation through Garyline. Their reconfirmation email bouncec back, as did their emergency helpline. I contacted the Head Office to reconfirm. This nees to be sorted.

At first drive with magnificent panoramas to access the glacier. A breathtaking site of beauty and grandeur. Prefer parking 2 going up to the glacier , the population is divided by 5 . Stair path with several panoramas, really doable rather than take the mini bus , it is more authentic and provides a real walk. We loved it, a must in Argentina
Wonderful! We must not miss this unforgettable place! If you are lucky enough to see Glacier sag Exceed the expectations you have!
Wonderful landscapes, the beauty of the glacier is shocking, it is worth all the money in the world, you really have to see it! It's worth all the money in the world
This was the second time we went to Périto Moreno. But we were still just as amazed, under the spell of this glacier that we never tire of looking at. I would add that we were also satisfied with the organization of the excursion and the driver-guide tandem.
Haber podido recorrer todos los circuitos valió la pena. Y las vistas desde los distintos ángulos son increíbles.
I loved seeing it, it's a real pleasure. You have to be there and if you want you can take a boat but I think that on the walkways you can see it without any problem There is a parador if you want to have something to eat. I personally had a cold day and this parador was a salvation.
I already said it in my previous email, they cannot put the price in Argentine pesos within ARGENTINA saying "the lowest price" because then they convert it to dollars and they charge us poor deluded people in the tourist dollar, that is, we have paid thanks to TRIPADVISOR MORE DOUBLE than any other tourist they see on the web, thank you TRIPADVISOR, take care ARGENTINES who do tourism within our country ARGENTINA.
I was in Calafate on the 15th of February 2023 and it was super cool although I only spent a few days making the most of it to know the most amazing places in that region. First day visit to the glaciers National Park, where is the walkway and the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier incredible the landscape with a very pleasant climate, then in the afternoon at about 15:15 we made an excursion that includes a 20 min navigation through the lake in front of the imposing south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, arriving to the opposite coast to do the mini trekking on the ice is a tour that must be booked in advance 42000 pesos if you are looking for from the park, with the Enterprise Ice and Adventure, wear comfortable and waterproof clothing the ideal footwear to wear boots for trekking also waterproof, in summer enjoy sunny days, always carry snacks and water, for the hike is divided into 2 groups with specialized guides and give you some crampons and talks about the history of the glaciers and orient you like walking since it is an activity of medium difficulty, walk on the ice and observe incredible landscapes. Another recommended visit is to the National Capital of trekking there is full day tour to the Chalten (advance booking 64.60 dollars) includes food, a route 40 tour where you can see glacial valleys, rivers and the Patagonian steppe we arrived at a stopper La Leona that was the 1st warehouse of general bouquets today is a hotel and stopper, in summer better to wear comfortable and waterproof clothes and break wind, shoes for trekking. Then you continue until you reach the village the chalten a village surrounded by mountains, lakes, forests is inside a Glacier National Park, you can see the Fitz Roy Hill, Torres Hill and different paths and incredible viewpoints.
The location of the pavements is well marked and has ramps for accessibility. Beautiful visual. It has bathrooms, souvenirs shop and cafeteria. The boat ride is very pleasant and impacting to see the glacier from close.
No words to describe the beauty of the Perito Moreno glacier, its magnitude, its blue shades, its imposition. From time to time, you hear the bumping of a block of ice. Admire it by the various passages, each from a different angle, does not tire. Or stop at one of the various benches of the viewpoints available, taking a snack or drinking something you can buy at the snack bar. And then you can still enjoy it more closely and without rush on a comfortable boat ride, well worth it. Don't stop doing it!
The walk on the catwalks. The Iguazu Falls style. The whole route with the view of the Glacier from different angles. The route is always 5 steps and then I walk straight and then 5 steps and it goes forward. There are benches in the viewpoints. Some guide or in alectira on the different types of glaciers etc. is interesting.
The park very well kept, the glacier fabulous. Beautiful experience. I had a great time. Highly recommended!
The glacier experience is spectacular. When buying online I was charged 125 dollars per person and did not include the cost of entry to the natural park the glaciers ($4000 APS). This paid experience in El Calafate in Argentine pesos costs $21,000 APS. $125 a change is $37,500 APS. Conclusion pay 178% more.
Spectacular, beautiful scenery, amazing panoramic view, in terms of navigation very good experience to see the glacier up close.
It's something you can't miss. It's stunning and beautiful. A wonder of nature. From all angles it's a beauty
I did the excursion that takes in the same Glacier Park, paid $2500 in February 2022, accompanied by my family we were 13 people, a dream trip! and we were fortunate enough to see a huge and unusual detachment, which first scared us by the unexpected and surprise and then we marveled, being an unforgettable memory!
The glacier perito moreno is of an imposition, of a beauty, of a charm that all good adjectives are few to portray.
If you arrived at Calafate, this is something you can not stop doing!!!! Great boat, attention, wordless scenery!!!!
Unpayable scenery...a beautiful day....with icy landslides. There are many shades of celestial and blue in all its ranges.
Espectacular, el barco te aproxima al glaciar y te das cuenta de lo inmenso que llega a ser. Aunque parezca que solo ves hielo, la hora que estuvimos en el barco se hizo corta.
Truly unique experience. Wordless. Just say it was spectacular and you live the greatness of nature.
