Southroad Calafate Balcony Experience With Tour Mode Options

I have travelled to more than half the countries in the world and have experienced ziplining in many different destinations, but I can honestly say this was one of the longest, most incredible, and best zipline experiences of my life! From beginning to end, everything was exceptional. The guys were so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They made the entire experience so easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had an amazing time. I am SO glad I chose to book this excursion. And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, we were treated to an absolutely delicious homemade lunch! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, it was some of the best food I’ve had so far in South America. A huge thank you to the entire team and especially the chef! This experience exceeded my expectations. If you’re visiting the area, don’t hesitate to book this excursion. It’s an absolute must-do! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved this excursion- outstanding views of the lake, mountains and terrain above the city. The zip lining was really fun, added so much to the experience. The guides are amazing and looked after us so well. Finished with really tasty lunch.

Highly professional and yet warm and friendly experience. The team made the ziplining a great afternoon out. My wife and I always felt safe, views were amazing (even saw condors soaring near) and the homestead afternoon tea just felt so genuine and ended the day perfectly. El Calafate Balcony Experience with Zipline was excellent. The 4x4 tour was interesting and the zip[line was exciting. The meal after was outstanding and the best we have had on any tour so far. All the guides were extremely friendly and helpful.

A fantastic experience with a brilliant guide (Ezekiel) and driver. We did the 4x4 trip and it was the best way to see the lake and town from up high and learn a lot about the wildlife, geography and people!

Very enjoyable tour. Gave us enough time to explore at each Balcony. Wonderful view from atop! The snacks at the farm was a good way to end the tour.

The ziplining was efficient, friendly & seemed safe & well done. The guides & instructions were very good. The lunch was a bit disappointing. It eas adequate- and empanada, fairly tasteless lentil soup with a few small pieces of meat & an ordinary brownie with a scoop of icecream. There was also wine & orange cordial, but no tea or coffee.

We booked the 4x4 and zip lining experience with kind last minute. Everything was great. On time, great guides, fun zip lines and delicious lunch!

We did the zipping and both Novell and Ezekiel were super friendly, chilled out and professional. The food stop on the ranch was lovely : overall very well done

We loved this tour on one of the ranches behind El Calafate. Marcello and Ruan were terrific. We drove up a cliff and the views were spectacular over the city, lake and mountains. We spent a lot of extra time up there watching a group of condors up close as they flew around where we were. You cannot plan for this but it's something we will remember for a long time. Afterwards there was an excellent lunch, which was included in the tour, and which included a couple of bottles of Malbec and were then dropped off at our hotel.

Very nice and delicious cuisine with friendly staff :) local food based on local products great view and you can even stay here :)

Well organised , friendly and helpful guides .The 4 zip lines were of different lengths and slopes . There was a lovely lunch at the local estancia at the end of the tour .

we had some extra time before our flight and booked at the last minute - well worth it! we did the ziplining option and it was incredible. the staff were so friendly and helpful. the wind was a bit strong which made us nervous, but once we got going it was no problem. highly recommend, even for those faint at heart. the lunch at the end was hearty and delicious, too. would definitely do again

We loved this. Beautiful views. Ziplining was great 4 very long lines. I felt very safe. Great views while ziplining also. Lunch was great and it was beautiful.

The ride to the top of the mountain was worth the view. It was a bit bumpy but that made it fun. It was very windy at the top of the mountain but we were able to get great photos. Our guide Augustus was friendly and fun. He also was a great waiter. The dinner was delicious and there was lots of food . The atmosphere in the ranch house was warm and cozy.

The views on the way up were amazing. The zipline was exciting, fun and safe. We enjoyed lunch and wine at the ranch. Best of all, our guide Nahuel did a great job. He was pleasant, explained everything well and made sure we were safe.

Awesome to see Lago Argentino, El Calafate, and the Andes Mountains from up above. The operator responds promptly to messages. They sent us a WhatsApp message the day before our tour to confirm pick-up time and place. The drive up was scenic. We chose to do the zipline. It was incredible. The views were magnificent. Staff did a great job. We had fun and felt safe. Our equipment was in good condition. The stations/lines were well maintained. We ended the tour with a delicious lunch at the ranch. This is a tour worth doing.

Great experience. The zip line was awesome. Nicoli and his crew did a great job. Nicoli made us feel comfortable even though we were the only English speaking people on the bus. His information was very informative. The lunch was great, I would recommend and we would definitely do it again. Thanks for the experience.

The experience was fantastic. The view of El Calafate city, lake and mountains were amazing. The guide was friendly . The Argentinian food during lunch was delicious!

First the guides weee awesome. Juan Pablo “JP” was my guide for the trek and he was great however the tour itself was somewhat disappointing. I chose to do the trek rather than the zip line. Sounds like those who did the zip line or who ride with those doing the zip line got the true balconies experience whereas me doing the trek was essential a downhill walk with the same view so my recommendation is if you do this go for the zip line or just ride along.

Best and unique! They're very nice and the attractions are awesome. Try the zip line, it's great, so you wouldn't miss it, right?

Local Guides really helpful (they speak good English as well) and Zip Line was also an amazing experience. Recommended if you want to do a short activity during the day.

I booked through Viator so initially there was a bit of confusion about the pick up point for the tour. Once that was straightened out everything went smoothly. I didn’t have a lot of time in El Calafate so this half day excursion was a good way to see some of the sites. The 4x4 ride was a bit bumpy but Nicholas our guide gave us a lot of great insight about the area. The view from the top was beautiful and the hiking portion was good also. Manuel guided us on the hike and shared a bit of knowledge about some of the plants we saw. The tour ended with a delicious lunch and wine. The guides made sure we were will taken care of the whole time and overall I really enjoyed the experience.

Good evening trip. Wonderful views of lake from high points. Limited mobility friendly activity. Includes a dinner in a ranch type setting. Both the guide and the driver were two very pleasant persons. The guide took pains to explain the geology and history of the region.

Highly recommend, the guides are super knowledgeable! The views and food is spectacular! I do however recommend booking through your hotel and trip advisor and viator do not communicate thoroughly with the staff and might not be able to prepare for the experience you wanted. Me encanto! Los guías te dan mucha información, los paisajes y la comida fue fenomenal. Recomiendo hacer la reserva por el hotel o una agencia de acá, porque trip advisor y viator no se comunican bien para cual experiencia quisieras de las 3 opciones.

I did a 4x4 tour and it was extremely expensive for what it is!!! We just went up the hill and down. Then the lunch was in a hurry. In total 77€ for 2h30 tour! Do not waste your money.

Super exhilarating Zipline. No waiting around, great guides and great lunch after. Perfect way to spend half a day in El Calafate!

We saw a few wildlife sightings along the way (condors, a fox, mountain lion tracks, eagles and a rabbit). The lunch was soooooo amazing and really filling and delicious. I enjoyed the ziplining (4 lines in total) with the great views.

If you have half a day, I strongly suggest this tour , the view is fantastic, and especially with the hiking option . The tour guides are so nice, I am the only English speaking tourist , but I got the full instructions.

Super Fun Zip Lining Day: Not Too Scarey; Not Too Fast & No Crowds!! We Zipped down 4 Different Levels. Nice Lunch on the Ranch: empanadas, beef stew (Like a Buddha Bowl) & desert. On time transfer pick up.

It was very cool to drive to the top, then Zipline our way down. Felt like I was in a video game. I liked how the ziplines were set up one after another.

We took a 4*4 tour with zipline and lunch. It was a totally great experience! The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. The 5 ziplines are brand new and equipment is also brand new. The activity was exciting and the views you can see while ziplining are breathtaking. We were the first customers for this activity. What i like was conversations and interesting information provided by the guides and some personal touch. After the experience there was a nice lunch with empanadas and wine in an old rancho. Overall it was good experience. While you can also skip the zipline (e.g when afraid of hights), we would not recommend to book this tour if you don’t plan on participating with the zipline, unless some other substitute activity is suggested.

What an overwhelming 4x4 ride through the Patagonian steppe. Ruben is a great guide. He knows a lot and has very nice humor. A must-do, this "Patagonian massage".

An unmissable tour, the guides are more than kind, providing information throughout the entire route, adding value to the overall experience. Unique views, we had the privilege of spotting condors. The food is delicious, homemade, and fresh. Highly recommended.
