About Activity
This 8-hour tour takes you to the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier, located 80 km from El Calafate. It is one of the largest glaciers in the world and one of the few that is still advancing, making it the main highlight of Los Glaciares National Park—a vast 600,000-hectare protected area covered by ice fields. The journey begins through the Patagonian Andean forest, with a first breathtaking stop at Curva de los Suspiros (Curve of Sighs), where you will enjoy your first panoramic view of this natural wonder. Next, embark on a 1-hour Safari Náutico navigation on a shared boat, sailing close to the glacier’s southern face and floating icebergs. This unique perspective allows you to appreciate the massive ice wall from the water, capturing the glacier’s scale and beauty up close. Upon return, you will walk along the network of catwalks at the main viewing area, admiring the glacier from different angles and panoramic viewpoints for unforgettable photographs and experiences.
