From the gates of Estancia Cristina, climb Monte Frías by 4x4 on trails overlooking the vast expanse of Lago Argentino. A first stop at 450 meters offers sweeping views of the Centinela River valley, while a second viewpoint at 1,030 meters reveals an extraordinary panorama — Torres del Paine, the Northern and Southern channels of Lago Argentino, the Andes' highest peaks, and on clear days, the iconic Mount Fitz Roy. Descend through ancient lenga forest along the mountain's eastern slope, finishing at Estancia Alice before returning to El Calafate.
