Such an amazing trip from start to finish. We were in the premium lounge and it was worth it! The sights and the service were out of this world.

Well organized. Very timely with pickup. Great views and a good lunch. Would definitely recommend to all ages.
An amazing experience & highly recommended
We had a 40 min coach trip to find our boat waiting to take us to see the glaciers. The overall boat time was basically all day, but passing beautiful scenery made you unaware of time. We visited two glaciers and they were awesome. We had an informative guide on the boat. We had a short stop where we could get off the boat and walk a few hundred yards to the waters edge. We had a box lunch provided on the boat. This trip was entitled the gourmet trip, but we weren’t sure about their interpretation of ‘gourmet’. It was perfectly adequate though. Would highly recommend the trip as the glaciers were breathtaking.
An efficient operation from the time we were collected at our hotel (we bought the gourmet plus transfers package), bused to the port, cruised Lake Argentina, walked ashore on an uninhabited island (except for the feral cows) and provided with ample time to photograph the glaciers
Great experience. Tour operator made sure the tour touched all the major points. Good hearty lunch, great guides who provided complete information throughout in Spanish and English. Boat ride was smooth.
It was a great experience, everything went well, a very calm trip. The vegetarian sandwich was good, and we also recommend going down to the walkways — they’re very beautiful too
Staff is attentive, careful and friendly. The tour is very well organized and absolutely pleasant. The timing is perfect.
Glaciares Gourmet Navigation was very enjoyable. The scenery was spectacular. It was a bit disappointing not to get close to any ice overhangs as shown in their advertising. It was also annoying that they are still advertising the Upsala Glacier even though they are no longer allowed to get anywhere near it! The box lunch was very basic and the rolls were very dry. We threw half away. However, the dessert was great. The commentary in English was not very clear and hard to understand.
An unforgettable 10/10 experience — a must-do! We went on the Glaciar cruise today and it exceeded all our expectations. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, with impeccable service throughout the entire experience. The views of the glaciers are absolutely breathtaking — truly incredible from every angle. The ship was kept spotless at all times, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. The food was outstanding, well above expectations, and added a special touch to the journey. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and engaging, making the experience both informative and memorable. A special mention to Luis, the photographer, for capturing unforgettable moments, and to Martina and Pilar, whose exceptional service truly stood out. Every staff member onboard was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. This cruise is absolutely a must when visiting the area. One of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will remember forever.
Absolutely fabulous. We visited several glaciers close up which was amazing. The premium option is well worth it with the lovely food and drinks.
Excellent. Beautiful scenery. Great information. Service was excellent and food was very good. Highly recommend the gourmet tour.
From pick up to drop off the experience was great. The boat trip was fantastic and we were able to move around freely and we got to see all the glaciers, icebergs and even get off at Puerto de vacas with a guide who gave us a little historical perspective of the space. The box lunch was delicious and very generous in portion. The kiosk onboard was good... they only take cash! Best in Argentine pesos. They served a great coffee and then a G&T later on in the afternoon.
The single best trio you could go from El Calafate . The boat is comfortable. The numbers aren't that big . You will see everything finishing with up close views of the Perito Moreno .
We loved every detail of this tour. The ship was very comfortable and safe, the people welcoming and knowledgeable. The landscapes of the glaciers were breathtaken. We enjoyed the tour and we’d repite the experience again!
Truly an epic experience!Incredible scenery in an unspoiled part of the world.A real full day of sight seeing on a great comfortable boat covering about 120 km and seeing 3 glaciers-2 up close.Guides especially Juan very knowledgeable and made the experience even more interesting
Amazing experience!!! This is a lifetime trip, you get very close to the glaciers. The ship is spacious, clean, I would say just that the lunch box is not so tasty, it is a sandwich with a big bread. The trip is very long, so maybe you should pack your own food.
The biggest disappointment was not getting close to Upsala - you see it from quite a distance (take binoculars). Lunch was good on the boat, but a long day overall. Would not recommend.
Excellent experience- on time, limited food option for vegetarian but overall amazing especially when they took us very close to glaciers
Great service, ok-time pick up and drop off. Very expertise guide and tour. We saw multiple glaciers which is amazing. Lunch is also great.
It was a wonderful trip. You cannot miss a boat trip to see all glaciers, the boat gets really close and makes a special effort so that everybody can take good pictures no matter what side of the boat you are. They picked us up from the hotel on time. Our guides Estela and Facundo were very good. Highly recommend it.
This was such a wonderful day! You really get up-close and personal with the 5 glaciers. The guides were great at teaching us about the glaciers, wildlife, history in Spanish and English, seamlessly. We really enjoyed the box lunch too! Very delicious. We were unsure if this would be too "touristy" for us but it was truly a great and unique experience - not gimicky at all.
Excellent day cruise. The whole day is planned perfectly. Breathtaking views through out the trip. We took the disembark option and it was totally worth it. We are vegetarians and the lunch was very good. Professional photographer onboard is very friendly and he took amazing pictures!
Horrible. Do not recommend. Food is not good. Service is even worse. Staff is rude. So disappointing
Very well organized, spectacular views. Excellent and very interesting explanations. Recommended to access the pasarelas
We booked the gourmet cruise with a pick up at the Esplendor. The pick up was slightly late as they collect guests from various hotels so dont panic! The private lounge and deck, with a good lunch with wines were worth the extra. The icebergs and glaciers were spectacular.
We had an excellent experience. the views of the glaciers were amazing. The support and staff were quite helpful and informative. thanks
The staff was super friendly, helpfula and knowledgeable. The vessel was clean and comfortable and the food (gourmet sandwiches) was very good, including a hot sandwich, beverage of choice and dessert. . The trip was simply wonderful!
We did the tour without pickup and returned to the port skipping the glacier tour. We were very happy with this. I actually think that we got a better view of the Perito Moreno glacier staying on the boat vs disembarking. We also didn’t see much advantage in the Premier private lounge area. We had a reserved table and enjoyed going out on all the different decks to see the glaciers and icebergs. The trip was fantastic and well worth it. I was a bit skeptical about being stuck on a boat, but the experience just kept getting better and the scenery was spectacular. I can’t imagine a better way to see as much as we did Lunch was good, not great. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were a family of four and all of us thought this was great.
We had a great day with breathtaking glaciers and mountains, wonderful service, pure Patagonia magic!
This trip was great, went with the premium upgrade and it was worth every penny! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, the trip was well-organized, and the boat spent plenty of time at each glacier, giving us the opportunity see calving events and just enjoy all of the views. The histories of the area were also very well-done. Highly recommend!
The views of the lake shores and the glaciers are magnificent. The fact that we couldn’t get closer to the Upsula was a bit disappointing. The explanations given during the cruise were educational. To conclude, the experience was extremely enjoyable and I would recommend others to do the cruise.
Worth every penny. Seeing the glaciers as close as possible (and from a different perspective) was incredible. The tour guides they have are very knowledgeable and was very pleasantly surprised of the quality of everything - the food, the guides, quality of boat, etc. Do it!
Had a wonderful tour of the glaciers on Marpatag Cruises. This company uses smaller boats than rival companies so everything doesn’t feel overcrowded. I decided to upgrade to the premium service and I’m very glad I did. You get your own private observation deck and receive copious amounts of fine food and wine. You even get a private visit to the captain’s quarters to view one of the glaciers. In premium service, they have two different tables, one for Spanish speakers and one for English speakers, to ensure people at the same table can converse with one another. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. This is the best cruising option for seeing the glaciers. Yes, it’s expensive, particularly for the premium option, but it’s worth it.
First class experience. Everything went as well as it could. We left on time, guides amazing, weather fantastic and views breathtaking
Best cruise to see all glaciers, lunch was ok and offered snacks for purchase. Staff and crew snd guides were very nice and helpful.
Well organized, from transfers to activities. Highly recommended. It was an amazing experience with must-see places. We loved everything. The staff was attentive and kind, explaining everything in detail so you can fully enjoy the trip.
Comfortable transfer and boat cruise, with information given in English as well. The glaciers and ice that broke off from them were a magnificent view.
We were a party of four and booked this excursion to the tremendous price of $800. The agency, where we booked showed us the picture of where we will make our stop in front of glacier to have lunch. That was actually the reason, why we booked it, because it really looked very nice. When we finally got there, we found out, that we could not sit outside at the terrace the agency had shown us, because we did not book the captain’s special for another $120 per person.(which included the liberty of sitting upstairs in the boat and sitting outside at the stop). Best part of it all is, that there is nowhere to sit outside for.” normal.” people.. Very rarely seen such a rip off anywhere. And it’s so much better to do the Morino Glacier by foot, because you see so much closer and it’s much nicer than this stupid tour. And on top we were told, that the guide would tell us everything in Spanish and in English. Only problem is, the guide continuously forgets to speak English, so that we only get our information in Spanish, which is also not our main language. Please don’t book this tour, because you definitely will regret it.
This is a TRUE WOW! We had the best time. Maurizio was an incredblly knowlegeable and warm & hospitable tour guide. I still cannot believe my eyes, the beauty & wonder we say crusing Argentino Lago and beholding these incredible Glaciers, was absolutely other worldly. I am still saying I cannot believe it. The beauty was...outstanding.
We booked the premium tour which was more expensive but worth the price. Two adults and a toddler with plenty of room for him to play and move around . The food was good , and the staff were very accommodating. The views from the deck were breathtaking. Trip of a lifetime.
Dress warm, thermals, gloves, coat, hat and Sun glasses are all needed. Lunch is delicious but take snacks 1:30 is a long time to wait for food.
Great way to visit the glaciers. A must visit, the boat is clean roomy and the company had great guides and interpreters No physical effort so great for kids and elderly
Being able to see Perrito Moreno. The other glaciers were also fantastic. It also was nice to be able to walk in the Glacier National Park
I read some reviews and selected the "full service" excursion. It was wonderful, from the time we entered the cabin. We had a group of about 15 folks, picked up at our hotel, delivered to a first class adventure. Wine, water, liquor, a hot lunch, plated and served to us. I would choose the "full bore" option again, there was not a crowd on the deck for taking pictures, it was virtually unobstructed and we met some nice folks. One couple even became engaged on our trip, that was how nice this tour is!!
Lovely catamaran taking people to beautiful glaciers with really nice crew. The glaciers are incredible and the boat stops long enough to take pics and take in the immense formations. The explanations provide great insight about the glaciers, the history of Argentina and the geology. Please splurge and don’t skip this!
It was fun amd worth the money. Wish we had a bit more time at Perito Moreno glacier. And would've been nice to have the professional photographers on board offer to take photos for all of us. I would pay a little extra to have that.
You fooled me because you changed US $304 for this trip. A couple paid US $190 with the same condition. My price was unreasonable. I won't use anything anymore on your site. You stoled my money.
A fantastic cruise to explore the glaciers. We had a very memorable and an enjoyable experience. The cruise was great and kids friendly too. We were delighted to see a kids play area on board to our child engaged in activities during the cruise. We could also pre book our lunch box and had a variety option for those who even have diet restrictions. The tour company was very prompt with communication via WhatsApp about pick up time and other details.
I was totally ripped off. I paid $400Usd more per person than those who booked in Argentina through Marpatag. They lie about price guarantee! No help at all through customer service!
