Experiencing the Perito Moreno Glacier was a pretty awesome experience! Our guide Rebecca was engaging, explained everything we needed to know about the day & history of the glacier, and checked in on us when we needed. Our driver was also great, ensuring we had a smooth ride the whole day. I will say that for the price of the tour, you could probably do it cheaper on your own given the entry fees to the park & boat ride are not included. However, we still had a great day out & I would highly recommend the trip. If you can afford it, definitely opt in for the boat trip up to the glacier!

Pick up right on time! Alejandro our guide, was amazing!! Very knowledgable, shared history along the way, made it fun not boring. The whole experience was great! Totally worth it
Perito Moreno Glacier is truly awesome. You can't miss it on a trip to El Calafate. The tour picked up on time and spent three hours in the park. It was enough time to go on the one hour boat, eat lunch, and walk on the elevated walkways.
The tour was vey good. I was the only English speaking passenger but our guide was very patient and explained everything in English. The optional boat ride was fun, but if you do not have mobility issues, I suggest you just hike the same portion of the glacier that the boat navigates to. The photos of the boat tour are not too accurate because it looks like the boat really gets close to the glacier, but it does not. It is still a distance away but you can always zoom in. Spectacular! I liked the yellow portion of the walkway, got to see another side of the glacier. We had a wonderful Guide, Rebecca, and great driver, Lucas.
The glacier is at a national park which you have to pay to enter. There is several stops. The first one you’re getting on the boat to see the glacier. Then the second stop is a walk that you could take pictures with the glacier behind you. This last stop has a restaurant and convenience store.
Nothing can prepare you for the sight of the Glacier. It is truly inspiring. Nicholas our guide was able to explain the geology of the region and explain what we were seeing and hearing! Really appreciate both the time on the walkways and the boat. It gave us time to take it all in.
Pick up was on time. Guide was friendly and helpful and gave us information on the way to the glacier. I didn’t do the boat trip but choose to walk a long the platforms. We were given the time and place to meet for the return journey. An efficient and stress free way to go to the glacier since the public bus station isn’t in the town centre.
The local tour opertor NEVER came. Their even dId NOT unswer their phone. We paid way more for alternative tour
The itinerary was completely different to the day. The night before I was messaged asking if I wanted to do the boat trip to the glacier. This was an option but wasn’t mentioned at all on my itinerary. My itinerary also stated that we had lunch at a restaurant which would cost about $30. The guide had no idea about that. I was glad actually that we didn’t do that and took my own packed lunch. Once we got to the park we had a chance to have a cuppa and use the facilities. The place was absolutely packed and more and more coaches kept coming. Those are the bad points. The good was that there were excellent wslkways that afforded lots of different views of the glacier, which was stunning. I spent at least 3 hours walking them. Most people took the boat and probably then didn’t walk, so it was less busy on the walkways. The boat was quite expensive and while it would have given a good perspective of the size of the glacier it took up to 200 people. I enjoyed my day.
Have never seen a glacier before. It was awesome and the guide Martín was so attentive. A day well spent. I would probably pack a lunch instead of buying lunch at the snack bar. Easy to spend a lot of time on the boardwalk soaking it in.
Like everything in El Calafate, it's expensive for what it is. Guide was nice, but didn't tell us anything hugely interesting.
Great guided tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier. My guide was very funny, which made the ride seem shorter. He was helpful in explaining the optional tours and gave great advise on which walkways to take at the lookout point. Highly recommend!
The Perito Moreno Glacier is truly an incredible experience - one of the most amazing sights I've ever seen in my life. This is an excellent tour with a great company. The service was very good - punctual pickup at my hotel, fun and knowledgeable bilingual tour guide. I had a wonderful time on this trip!
The guide and driver were great and the bus was comfortable. The glacier was worth the expense and effort.
Excellent tour. Picked up from our accommodation and very informative on the drive over to the national park. It was super organized and the communication was excellent. Our guide spoke excellent English and was able to tell us all of the interesting facts. We also did the optional boat ride which was well worth the extra money. The timings are precise and you are given approximately 2 hours to wander the boardwalks (which is enough).
Wonderful day in a mini van with only 6 others! Our guide Mariano and driver Joel were excellent and explained everything in detail. Great communication and perfect English. Perito Moreno was breathtaking and nothing prepares you for how majestic it is. I wasn’t planning to go on the boat but glad I finally did as it would have been incomplete without it. Mariano took us on the walk around the glacier which is very well organised. This small tour is a must!
The tour guide gave great details about the town and national park. He is nice, friendly and patient.
The first glance at the glacier from a distance on the road is breathtaking. And more and more impressive as we're approaching. The tour guide was knowledgeable and attentive.
Everything went smooth from the pickup to the very end until drop off at our place in El Calafate. Francisco spoke both languages so information was in spanish and english which made it possible to learn some insights on Patagonian life near the mountains for nonspanish speakers. The drive to the glacier itself was enjoyable and both guys were always on the lookout for everyone. There are toilet breaks budgeted in the route so no worries for those who drink a lot of water for their breakfast. Timing is well planned for a very relaxed exploring of the glacier walkways- so take your time (and pack some picnic with you) to enjoy the views. There was an optional boat tour at around $30 provided by third party which was well worth if this is your first time seeing massive 70m ice walls. Thank you Francisco and Oswaldo for taking care of us during this trip.
Good experience, they picked us up on time, the staff was very kind and friendly, they met and exceeded expectations, and above all, they were super punctual.
One of the best tours I have ever done, impressive place, a wonder of nature, far exceeded my expectations, the guide very human, well informed and friendly, I recommend too
Everything was in order and conformed to expectations. Pick up by appointment, safe driving style of the driver. It was a beautiful day.
The tour was good, quiet, the guide explained everything that was necessary. The time was also appropriate. I think the possibility of renting a car and going on your own would be even better.
They forgot our reservation and no one came looking for us. After complaining by phone we were picked up 45 minutes late in a taxi car, without offering any explanation or apology from Viator or the Enterprise. Still waiting for explanation, apology or compensation.
